A sixties Memphis rock band who had a major international hit with this song. The singer, Alex Chilton, extremely young at the time, died two years ago of a heart attack.

From the 1994 album All Boro Kings. DED's a New Jersey band formed in 1990 by bassist Dave Neabore, guitarist Sean Kilkenny and singer John Connor. Blended rap and hardcore and added saxophone. Were relatively popular in the Low Countries in the mid-nineties.
