Ultravox was the fifth or, if memory serves, the sixth project frontman Midge Ure was involved in, and Vienna, released in 1981 from the 1980 album with the same name, was a smash hit. After that it was mostly downhill. Of special interest is the video, shot by Russell Mulcahy, which was a novelty for the time. Three years later Mulcahy would achieve relative fame with the excellent first Highlander movie starring Christophe Lambert, Sean Connery and Clancy Brown.

"Shafilea Ahmed, 16, was allegedly murdered at her home in Warrington, Cheshire, because her parents felt her increasingly Western ways, and her rejection of an arranged marriage, had brought shame on the family.

Her younger sister, Alesha, was 15 when she claimed she witnessed the killing on the night in September, 2003, that Shafilea disappeared.

She initially told friends that her father, Iftikhar Ahmed, had murdered her sister and “chopped up” her body.

But she later retracted the claim and kept silent for the next seven years. Then, in August 2010, she finally gave detectives a detailed account of the murder and her parents’ subsequent efforts to conceal the body.

Iftikhar Ahmed, 52, and Farzana, 49, both of whom were born in the same village in Pakistan, now deny murder.

Andrew Edis, QC, prosecuting, told a jury at Chester Crown Court: “Alesha describes what is an act of suffocation by her parents, acting together – a carrier bag forced into her mouth and then hands over her face to close her airways so she could not breath.

“She gives a description of what she saw, about what effect that had on her sister. She will tell you about that, and you will also be able to hear what a pathologist says you might expect to see in a death by suffocation.

“She then describes how there was activity in the house that night to do with the body. She talks about looking into the kitchen and seeing her mother sorting through a pile of blankets and sheets.

“She saw a roll of black bin bags and two rolls of tape – wide brown tape and some black tape.

“After that had happened she looked out of the window and saw her father with a large object wrapped in bin bags with brown tape wrapped around it. She assumed that was the body of her sister.

“A little later, still only about 10pm, she heard a car driving off. Her father was driving, her mother staying behind.”

Actually we cannot even call Iftikhar Ahmed and wife Farzana 'beasts' because it would be a grave insult to beasts. Let us call them subhumans instead. If you think I'm being rude you are part of the problem, and I'd like to ask how you would call entities that butcher their own offspring.

MUSLIMS TERRORIZE FRENCH TOWN OF AMIENS.

This is how De Standaard reported on the heavy rioting that held Amiens, France in its grip on Monday and Tuesday:

"On Monday evening, the northern French city of Amiens was the scene of heavy rioting by youths [sic], with reportedly extremely violent clashes. The youths pulled drivers from behind the wheel to subsequently speed away with their cars. They also torched a school and a youth centre.

'The clashes were very, very violent', said Amiens mayor Gilles Dumailly. On Tuesday evening, sixteen police officers had been wounded.

The riots only ended when the local police was backed up with federal police units. The rioters' hard core consisted of about a hundred diehards. What their motives were, is not clear yet.

Fifteen trouble areas.

Earlier this month a list was publicized identifying fifteen French districts designated as troublesome areas. Amiens is one of those fifteen. The government said that these fifteen areas need special attention and that more money will be poured into them.

Did you read that? No kidding:

"THE GOVERNMENT SAID THAT THESE FIFTEEN AREAS NEED SPECIAL ATTENTION AND THAT MORE MONEY WILL BE POURED INTO THEM."

No, Europe and especially France do not have such politicians, but they have plenty of politicans like... the mayor of Amiens, who last week, just prior to the riots, gave 4,200 square meters of city grounds to the Al-Fath association to build a new mosque:



The text informs us that, as the El Fath mosque [El Fath = the conquest, MFBB] on the Boulevard Beauvillé cannot hold the growing number of worshippers, the mosque should be relocated to a terrain of 4,200 square meters on the angle formed by the Boulevard de Roubaix and the Rue des Cambrésis. If everything goes according to plan, the building permit will be issued in March 2013 and the first bricklaying will follow six months later.

Oh yes, al-Fath (the magnificent victory or the conquest) is a reference to a koranic sura of the Medina epoch, of which the number of verses is 29. This al-Fath sura is named after its very first verse, which goes 'Truly, we handed you a magnificent victory'. The al-Fath sura deals with the moment when mohammed breaks the al-Hudaybiyah peace treaty with the meccans in the sixth year of the 'hégire' (which was intended to last ten years). In the conquered city, mohammed notices a 17-year old girl, Safiyya, which he proposes to buy for ten units of cattle. When the girl goes in hiding, he tortures her husband, finally decapitating him. The prophet then forces the young widow to marry him (at that time he had already married 6-year old Aisha and 'consummated' the marriage when the latter was nine).

So then, the al-Fath Amiens mosque, soon to be relocated to bigger premises under the benign eye of mayor Gilles Dumailly, is named after an important episode in islamic history when mohammed, that leery siphylis-ridden pervert and murderer, broke a peace treaty and butchered a man so that he could screw the young widow.

A PERFECT EXAMPLE for muslims indeed! Truly a great name for a mosque in the City of Amiens, home of cowering frogs pissing their pants and feral hordes of paedophile worshippers roaming the streets and torching infidel cars and schools!

First, Georg Friedrich Händel with the wonderful Sarabande.



I've written on these pages before that I am quite fond of baroque music. That's why Georg Friedrich Händel (1685 – 1759), a monumental German Baroque composer, famous for his operas, anthems, organ concertos and oratorios. After 'honing his craft' in Halle, Hamburg and Italy he settled in London in 1712 and effectively became British by naturalization in 1727 (and changed his name to George Frideric Handel). He could count Queen Anne among his patrons. By the time he died he had composed over forty operas.

Haendel's Sarabande is, as its name implies, a dance, and one in triple metre. In a sarabande measure the second and third beats are often tied, typically giving the dance a rhythm of alternating quarter notes and eighth notes (more or less symbolizing a 'real' dance's dragging steps). Check it out, it's quite obvious. This particular sarabande, from Haendel's Cembalo-Suite nr. 4 in d-moll (HWV 437, for Haendel Werke Verzeichnis 437) was used several times in a movie score - most famously of course in Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece Barry Lyndon (with Ryan O'Neal as the protagonist).

Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich (Russian: Дмитрий Дмитриевич Шостакович; 1906 – 1975) was a monumental Soviet Russian composer and pianist who more or less came unscathed through the hell that was the USSR - and this despite his being friends with Mikhail Tuchachevsky, Trotsky's famous Chief of Staff who was executed in 1937 during Stalin's purges. He was influenced by Stravinsky and Mahler. His orchestral repertoire encompasses amongst others 15 symphonies and six concerti, but apart from that there's also a very substantial oeuvre in chamber and piano music, operas and film scores. This particular piece 'Romance' (Shostakovich' Opus 97) was used in the 1955 Soviet movie drama The Gadfly, directed by Aleksandr Faintsimmer and based on the 1897 novel by Ethel Lilian Voynich (of Irish stock and the daughter of the famous mathematician George Boole).

Politicians like Yuksel and Almaci KNOW FULL WELL, when visiting their political-religious confrères or even just family in Turkey or Morocco or whatever, that the pitiful remnants of christians there cannot even renovate their decrepit little churches, that what few monasteries are left are robbed of their grounds, that the dwindling christian clergy is imprisoned or at best fined when there's even a suspicion of proselytizing, that trials are grossly unfair for each and every non-muslim....

.... and yet Yuksel, Almaci, Korkmazer, Koçak and Co. arrive back again in Belgistan on the tarmac of Zaventem or Charleroi with broad smiles and are happy and eager to lambast those pesky Vlaams Belang nazis and racists for ... SATURDAY NIGHT THE GUARDIAN DE STANDAARD CLEANUP.

Imagine my surprise when I read early this week that The Guardian ran a series on the popular music scene of your truly's Fatherland titled Sounds of Belgium. This link's list defines Belgian pop, according to Guardian editor Andrew Khan.

Our local leftist rag was quick to notice The Graudian's interest, and even quicker to come up with a 'typical' Belgian list of its own.

Any sensible person knows that whatever The Guardian writes is sheer and utter crap, and it ain't no different this time. The same goes for De Standaard, Home of Brainwashed White Selhating Junkies and Fossilized May 68 Leftovers. But why should we be surprised at their show of appalling ignorance and bad taste (the nod to Jacques Brel notwithstanding) when both commie outlets have made an olympic sport of spouting nonsense, outright lies and irrelevant trivia.

There now follows a list by Outlaw Mike of what constitutes Belgian Popular Music, and in my not so humble opinion I think that if a decent marketing machine had stood behind some of them, those might have gotten a truly fair amount of positive attention beyond the borders of La Belgique.

As much as I wish I could congratulate all True Americans with another July 4th, I can't shake off the certainty that if the Founding Fathers knew to what extent their legacy has been spoiled, they would be deeply ashamed and despair.

Real Americans need to stand up, and take their country back.

RELIGION OF PISS AKA ISLAM DOING SWELL IN AFRICA.

Barely had South Sudan seceded, through referendum, from the islamic north, or the latter's 'president' Omar al-Bashir declared war on South Sudan and its 'insect' government:





On June 18, three churches in the Nigerian towns of Zaria and Kaduna were attacked by Boko Haram muslim terrorists:





Around 50 Christians dead.


Just today, an estimated 15 people have been killed in attacks on Kenyan church. The attacks were carried out by muslim terrorists affiliated with the Somalia-based al-Shabab militia.



The Lame Duck Award For The Most Meaningless Statement was as usual won hands down by the White House with the following travesty: "At a time of transition, peace and stability are essential to Kenya's progress. We support those who recognize Kenya's ethnic and religious diversity as one of the country's greatest strengths."

And I'm not even talking about muslim salafist terrorists in Mali destroying Sufi shrines, or a Muslim Brotherhood nutcase elected for Prez in Egypt, courtesy that country's glorious Facebook Generation and that equally awesome Arab Spring.

Islam is the Scourge of Humanity. Sooner or later Humanity will have to destroy it, or at least reduce it to a pitiful rabble which can then be allowed to rot away in designated hellholes. I am actually pretty sure that will be the definite fate of islam, for if you look at Humanity's progress through the ages, once can only conclude it has always gone forward.

Yes, it has always gone forward. But the path taken is criscrossed and interrupted by a multitude of detours and dead ends. I am worrying not so much over Man triumphing over the gruesome aberration that is this death cult of desert apes. Man WILL triumph in the end, and islam will be remembered as we today remember the Stone Age or at the very best Gingis Khan.

It's the price to be paid before enough humans realize what islam stands for, that I'm worrying about.
