A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE: THE VILIFICATION OF VLAAMS BELANG.

Dymphna from Gates Of Vienna reacted to my last post and apparently remembered the controversy the VB caused when the first contacts between US counterjihad groups and their European allies, a.o. the Vlaams Belang, were established... around 2005, that was.

Back in the day, there was this prolific blogger Little Green Footballs (LGF), supposedly an ally, who went ballistic when news of the contacts emerged.

Since it appears Dymphna may want to link to the Filip Dewinter video I posted earlier this day, but wants to be prepared in case she and her blog is smeared again with false allegations of connections with "neo nazis", I will post an LGF rebuke from 2007 here.

I have stated on numerous occasions that I would not have joined the VB in the street fighting days (1977 - mid nineties), I have been confident for a long time now that the party is clean.

It would also like to stress emphatically that in order to judge the VB properly, a minimal knowledge of what I would label the "Flemish struggle" is an absolute necessity. Because for at least a century and a half, Flemings were some kind of second-rank citizens in Belgium. Throughout history, Flemish patriots sided twice - in both World Wars - with the occupier in hopes of obtaining a minimum of self-governance. They were dead wrong, of course. Now it is true that Vlaams Belang's predecessor, the Vlaams Blok, continued to worship key figures among these patriots - but not for ideological reasons.

If you doubt my words, ask yourselves why Anglosaxons e.g. refer to the famous university town "Leuven", site of Belgium's oldest university and as Flemish as can be, as "Louvain" - it's francophone pronunciation. The same goes for Malines. Or for Bruges. Quintessentially Flemish cities, but known from Seattle to Brighton by their Walloon - i.e. French - names.

There is a reason for that. The reason is that since its inception in 1830 and actually long before that, Flanders, which gave the world a.o. capitalism, Flemish Masters, Simon Stevin, William of Moerbeke, and which provided the Dutch with masses of intellect fleeing the Spanish in the sixteenth century (which played no small part in The Netherlands becoming a world power)... was for at least 150 years regarded and treated as a ludicrous backwater inhabited by morons by it's French speaking elites.

.... These days it seems I can't open up LGF or there's another smear from Charles Johnson, LGF founder and chief editor, against the party I am a member of, the Vlaams Belang (Flemish Interest). Mr. Johnson, who, btw, I still admire very much for keeping up a blog which learns us a gazillion of facts on the true nature of the "Religion of Peace", seems to have become convinced that the Vlaams Belang, and the Sweden Democrats party for that matter, are neo-nazi parties.

I can't really speak for the Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna), of which I had never heard before the Brussels Counterjihad Conference a couple of weeks ago. After looking briefly into their past, I did indeed find quite a lot of troublesome material. However, the party seems to have gotten rid of its Nazi supporters a decade ago: at least all the openly extremist members were expelled. They formed a fascist splinter party, the National Democrats, which is actually denouncing SD. Furthermore, I think it's hard to call SD anti-Semitic when it is led by a Jew, Ted Ekeroth, especially when that Jew won the Zionist Herzl Award 2006. Sverigedemokraterna's site also states that it considers the 1948 UN Declaration on Human Rights an inalienable centerpiece of its politics. Jesus, why do I bother you with facts? Check out their site yourself, it doesn't exactly look like Der Stuermer to me. If we are to apply Johnson's standards for judging a party, then the Democratic Party should be steered clear off because its leader in the Senate, Stephen Douglas (D-Illinois) pushed a pro-slavery act through Congress in 1854. Hey wait, now there's an idea...

As for the Vlaams Belang, the first shot fired by Johnson was the allegation that in 2005, the VB shunned a Resolution condemning the Nazi death camps.

The resolution Mr. Johnson is referring to is actually an EU Resolution, more specifically the January 27th, 2005 European Parliament Resolution PE 354.156 on Remembrance of the Holocaust, Anti-Semitism and Racism. Now here's the thing: imho anyone with a clear and objective view on things should notice the stink when a party like the VB is accused of not signing a Resolution condemning the Holocaust, because really, who, apart from the Nazis themselves and Ahmadinejad plus the usual suspects would not sign such a document? Why on earth would a party which is Israel's loudest supporter in the Belgian political landscape oppose a Holocaust Resolution??? The reason is very simple. The VB did not sign this resolution since it is a Leftist/Green fabrication intended to provide "legal" basis for prosecuting any European party opposing or at least questioning unburdened immigration. When we take a close look at PE 354.156 we find under Article 1:

"1. Pays homage to all the victims of the Nazis and is convinced that lasting peace in Europe must be based on remembrance of its history; rejects and condemns revisionist views and denial of the Holocaust as shameful and contrary to historical truth, and expresses concern over the rise of extremist and xenophobic parties and growing public acceptance of their views;"

In Flemish we have a saying: "Het venijn zit in de staart" meaning "the venom is in the tail". PE 354.156 bluntly links anyone denying the holocaust with "extremist and xenophobic parties". In reality, this will boil down to calling all parties who oppose the massive and unchecked immigration wave... Holocaust Deniers. Note that the immigration wave is to a large extent instigated, and fueled, by the same leftist and green parties with the specific aim of catering for the immigrants in return for votes!

It gets even better when we examine PE 354.156 more closely. Enshrined in it is a so-called Framework Decision on combating racism and xenophobia. Its opening sentence literally states:

The purpose of this framework decision is to ensure that, in the European Union, racism and xenophobia are punishable by effective, proportionate and dissuasive criminal penalties which can give rise to extradition or surrender; to improve and encourage judicial cooperation.

Ladies and gentlemen, there you have it: Punishable by Effective, Proportionate and Dissuasive Criminal Penalties. In other words, this so-called "Holocaust Resolution" provides nothing less than a "legal" instrument to kill parties opposing, a.o., unbridled immigration!THAT is the reason why the Vlaams Belang did not sign it!!! It's leftist reasoning all over again. If you can't beat them, sue them. You do not have to tell Filip Dewinter what that means. In a 2005 interview with a Jewish weekly he said a.o. "Yes, we’re afraid of Islam. The Islamization of Europe is a frightening thing." A multicultural youth organization (KifKif) and an "Anti-Racism" organization (aptly called MRAX, do I see a Freudian Slip there? Or is it rather a not so subtle hint?) promptly lodged a criminal complaint against him using Belgium's notorious "Anti-Racism Law", accusing him of inciting racial hatred. As a result of this complaint, one of the highest Belgian courts, the Council of State, is currently investigating whether the VB can be deprived of public funding (in Belgium, parties cannot receive gifts from companies and get funding from the State). This investigation's purpose is nothing less than an attempt to "kill" the Vlaams Belang financially. You can see how the mechanism works on the Belgian level. I shudder at the thought the same would be possible on the European level, and this is just what EU Resolution PE 354.156 intends to do.


PE 354.156, a Leftist/Green fabrication, is in its essence a shameful thing, as it recuperates one of the greatest horrors humanity has ever known for vile political purposes. To explain the VB's decision, Filip Dewinter wrote in an Open Letter to the Jewish Community on January 28, 2005:

Dear Citizens,

As a result of the unfortunate and untrue reports in the media concerning the attitude of Vlaams Belang in the European Parliament regarding a resolution “concerning the commemoration of the Holocaust, anti-Semitism and racism” I would be more than glad to put right what I for one and others would like to clarify.

Naturally Vlaams Belang bows down in deep respect for the suffering of all the victims of the Holocaust. The genocide against the Jewish people committed by the Nazi regime no one can never forget. The 60th anniversary of the release of the prisoners from the camp at Auschwitz is an excellent occasion to honor the victims and stands as a warning memory to the victims of every form of anti-Semitism and racism. I can refer to the MEP elected and party President Frank Vanhecke, who has also put this explicitly in his speech in the European Parliament with the following words: “Vlaams Belang bows down in deep respect for the Jews and for all the other victims of the criminal National Socialistic regime” [Nazi regime].

Unfortunately, some find it necessary to demonize a number of people from a successful and growing opposition with the use of a shameless abuse of the holocaust tragedy in the year 2006...

FYI, the VB did endorse a resolution condemning the Holocaust... in the Flemish Parliament. Because that resolution dispensed with the angle allowing for prosecution of immigration-critical parties. I wonder why Charles Johnson did not tell you that. Either way, LGF's Chief Editor took the accusation thrown at VB's feet hook, line and sinker. For a fella who has debunked the EU's "famous" soft-power resolutions so many times on his own blog, I thought he was smarter.


Now for his "Exhibit 2". According to Johnson, "a White Power flag at a Vlaams Belang rally this month. The other flags are Vlaams Belang."

Except this is not a VB rally, and these are not VB flags. It is a July 10, 2006 VJW rally, in which VJW stands for Vlaamse Jongeren Westland, or Flemish Youths Westland. This is their site. They are really a fringe group - until LGF posted the photo, I had not even heard of them - and it is quite hard to describe them. They appear to be fiercely nationalistic, anti-muslim but also anti-Israel, definitely anti-USA (burning US-flags), and heavily leftist leaning in their economic recipes (they favor nationalization!). And yes, I'd label these guys white supremacists. They amply use Celtic crosses, Odal runes and other (Neo)Nazi symbols, and they worship Flemish Waffen SS volunteers. To be sure, after some Internet rummaging I did find out that a handful of VJW members have ties with, or are also member of, the VB. I can only deplore this, and while I think it's a good thing the VB leadership almost from the beginning removed the (very few) VJW members from any post of importance, I'd rather like these idiots-stupid fucks-scumbags-morons-take your pick, to disappear from my party altogether.

But the bare fact remains that Johnson, when he claimed this was a VB rally and these were VB flags (the official VB flag can be seen here) was dead wrong. One really wonders why he unconditionally trusted his source, the obscure Belgian extreme-leftist blogger Yelloman. One last word about the use of Flemish flags together with a White Supremacist symbol: if we follow Johnson's logic, the US flag itself is a vile symbol, since Code Pink does also use the Star Spangled Banner at their rallies. How about that?


Then Johnson's "Exhibit 3". He writes: "As mentioned above, the predecessor to Vlaams Belang, Vlaams Blok, was outlawed in 2004. Their comeback as Vlaams Belang was applauded in 2005 by David Duke and the neo-Nazi skinheads at Stormfront." If you follow the Stormfront link, you come upon the start of a Discussion with the subject being "Pro-White Vlaams Belang Now Belgium's Strongest Party." First of all, the "Pro White Vlaams Belang" is a projection made by the Stormfront bozos. "Pro White" is not, and has never been, repeat NEVER, a VB denomination or motto. The VB-slogan which came closest to advocating white supremacy was "Eigen Volk Eerst" (Own People First), and even then it was a (very) far stretch, since "Eigen Volk" (Own People) stood for all "good" citizens with a Belgian ID, including the hundreds of thousands of Italians, French and Greeks who became, in decades past, respectable countrymen. The "Eigen Volk Eerst" slogan was dropped four years ago, when Vlaams Belang's predecessor, Vlaams Blok (Flemish Bloc) was outlawed. To be sure, I do feel more comfortable now that that motto is gone, but let us be honest here, what precisely is wrong with such an attitude? Does not a government has as its first priority the interests of its own people, and then the interests of citizens of other nationalities? Should by the logic of the Belgian Court not the whole population of Japan be outlawed, since they barely - if even that - allow immigration? A government has at its disposal a limited set of resources with which to pay employees' wages, pensions, infrastructure, hospitals, schools and what not. Is it not logical that a government uses these resources for its native inhabitants first? "Eigen Volk Eerst" is a cry from the early eighties, when nationwide unemployment was skyhigh and the leftist red carpet treatment (including positive discrimination) for newcomers, who did not even want to learn the language, started in earnest. Anno 2007 it is a demographic reality that Antwerp, the place where the slogan "Eigen Volk Eerst" was born, is slowly but steadily running out of "Whites" and people of other color fill the space. Close to 4,000 "White" Antwerpians flee the inner city every year, and 5,000 "Non-White" newcomers flow in. Is it asked too much WHY there is a White Flight? Why did native Belgians not move away when Italians moved into their neighborhoods en masse during the fifties? Furthermore, does not, in light of the stark reality of the rise of sloppiness, poverty and crime after the newcomers' arrival, sound a cry like "Eigen Volk Eerst" more like a sane, sad wish post factum than a racist battlecry? 2006 marked the first year that immigrants who do not even WISH Belgian nationality, were allowed to vote in municipal elections - exactly the reason why I joined the VB, btw. It was a common phenomenon that Moroccans, Turks and Algerians voted only for "their" candidates, which resulted in hitherto unknown Ahmeds, Fatimas and Alis, posted on "unelectable" places on (especially socialist and green) voting lists, miraculously jumped over the gullible indigenous "white" candidates. In Ghent, a Turkish candidate, Fuat Korkmazer, profiled himself in the first place as a Turk, NOT as a Belgian. Just LOOK at that poster (in Turkish!), and now look at the site of Bobby Jindal, US Congressman of Indian extraction, now Governor-Elect of Louisiana. What kind of flag is that huh? Were I an American in Louisiana, I'd feel verrrrry comfortable with my "brown" governor. Were I living in Ghent, I'd feel extremely uncomfortable with a mayor like Mr. Korkmazer. The Vlaams Blok had to drop the "Eigen Volk Eerst" slogan. "Non-whites" openly applied "Eigen Volk Eerst" - and the leftist loons pretend that their noses are bleeding.

Now back to Stormfront and David Duke. Are we to assume that the VB is a Stormfront susidiary, as Mr. Johnson alleges, just because that hatehole links to the VB site? If some Neonazi clusterfucker reads a DowneastBlog post, comes across twenty times "Stop Muslim Immigration to Western Countries", presumes I'm and links to it, does that make DowneastBlog a Neonazi site? In this very post I link to an extreme leftist blogger, the nutjob who provided Johnson with false photos. Plus, I link to the leftozoid hate site Blokwatch. Does that make ME a Code Pinko??? Jesus, and I wonder how many VB staffers even know David Duke. I will tell you one thing. David Duke may praise the Vlaams Belang, which he perceives as white supremacists because they happen to question the flood of non-whites flowing uncontrollably into our country. But the Vlaams Belang will NEVER praise David Duke.

To cut a long story short, the technique Charles Johnson uses here to attack the VB is known as "guilty by association". I read a book recently, "Digital Fortress" by Dan Brown. In it, a murderer (US government paid of course, what did you expect) kills each and everyone who came into contact, even randomly, with his target, a Japanese encoder. Guilty, or shall we say, "burned" by association. Dare I say that Mr. Johnson follows the same logic as that killer? Just because Stormfront links to the VB... the VB is guilty of the sins of Stormfront. Honestly Mr. Johnson... I am BAFFLED.

Just three "exhibits" debunked, 27 to go still... Or is it 28? Because Charles does not seem to get enough of it. In the process, got involved in a serious brawl with The Brussels Journal's Paul Belien. Called The Brussels Journal "Repugnant"... and gives as "proof"... three COMMENTS. Shall we examine LGF's comments section? No, honestly, can any sane individual who has regularly read Paul Belien's site over the past years claim in all seriousness that The Brussels Journal is "Repugnant"??? Either way, in my opinion Mr. Belien has done a fine job of defending both his site and the Vlaams Belang. I might add that neither I, nor Paul Belien, nor the Vlaams Belang itself have ever hidden the party's past, which has its ghosts. I wrote about that here. And I wrote again about it, not mincing my words, here:

...The struggle for recognition of the rich culture of Flanders and its language, Flemish (which relates to Dutch like American English relates to British English) inside a francophone Belgique has been long and hard, and on two occasions important organizations of Flemish activists have, in vain hopes of getting from under the Wallonian yoke, sided with a party they should have avoided: the German invader, both in World War I and in World War II. In 1914-1918 the German occupier had his Flamenpolitik, promising a degree of Flemish independence and a.o. a Flemish University in Gent. In the seventies, such various groups of Flemish Eastern Front veterans – tough men who had seen the endless steppes and proudly worn the typical shoulder patches with the Flemish Lion on a Feldgrau sleeve, almost inevitably flocked to the new political formation promising once more glory for Flanders: the Vlaams Blok, as it was called then and until 2004, when the party was banned by Belgium's politically correct establishment and it quickly had to take another identity as the Vlaams Belang.

But whether they went to Russia to fight Bolshevism or not, whether they were proud Flemings or not, I am sorry to say that among these men were convinced Nazis too, and they left their mark on the young formation. They were not in a majority position, but they were unmistakably there. And so nazi rhetoric from time to time surfaced, as well as references to white supremacy and contempt if not hatred of other races. Needless to say, back in those days I would never have joined the VB...

But that was then, and this is now. As far as I am concerned, my party is clean. No photos of Filip Dewinter (whose father and uncle were in the Resistance) with Jean-Marie Le Pen can change that. That one goes the rounds now on LGF, and it reminds me eerily of the photo with Rummy on Saddam's payroll. The (few) neonazis were expelled long ago, and today the VB is a decent, pro-free market, ethically conservative party any true GOP member would feel comfortable in. I am very glad to see that several powerful American bloggers and commentators have taken up the defense of my party, notably Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs. She has written very eloquently and with authority. View From the Right is truly excellent. But perhaps it is even better to let Diane West have the last word:

I refer to the very upsetting and undeserved Internet attacks — mainly being lent credence by the blog Little Green Footballs — on Vlaams Belang, the Flemish secessionist party in Belgium. The attacks allege that Vlaams Belang has ties and allegiance to Nazi-type ideologies and organizations. I find these attacks both sloppy and unconvincing. Vlaams Belang is not only the most stalwart, resolutely anti-jihad party in Europe that I know of, but also — and, not at all incidentally — the most pro-Israel party in Europe that I know of. In other words, it is ridiculous to suggest that they are Nazis — neo-, South American, Religious Right, or Other.

Indeed, it is crucial to understand that Vlaams Belang’s political opponents in Europe are the Islamo-Socialist Left, which is where vicious anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism now finds its ideological home. Vlaams Belang is fighting, virtually alone, the Islamization of Europe. For that they deserve both our gratitude and our support.

As of 2015, allegations as if the VB is some closet neo nazi party are even more insane than they were in 2005. Anyone who has stayed in Belgium for two weeks, has taken a look at the political landscape, and has his or her head screwed on right, will tell you that.

THE WEST'S UNSUNG HERO: VLAAMS BELANG'S FILIP DEWINTER.

Filip Dewinter is MP for Vlaams Belang in the Belgian Parliament. The following video shows him lambasting the fact that after 60 years (!) of there being a wahhabist Grand Mosque in Brussel, virtually in the city's centre, and after clear evidence that it serves as a hub for spreading salafist ideology throughout Belgium's network of mosques, Belgian Interior Minister Jan Jambon still thinks a further "enquiry" should be made by State Security as to whether said mosque, under the aegis of Saudi Arabia no less, is really really really spreading hateful messages.




I am so very sorry that I have neiter the time nor the energy to provide subtitling or at least a transcript. But the gist of the story is that in the first part of the story Dewinter asks the Interior Minister to close the wahhabist mosque in the Jubelpark/Cinquantenaire in Brussels. Then Jambon gets up and offers the usual PC drivel, responding that, as part of an 18-point plan, there will be extra monitoring of the mosque and that he ordered State Security to check whether there's really really really hate speeches and distribution of wahhabist ideology and, if so, "the necessary steps will be taken".

Then Dewinter addresses Parliament again showing the audience several publications of salafist "literature" by the mosque's King Fahd publishing organization, some even written in Dutch, AND published by the Grand Mosque, in which it is advised, amongst others in the book "De Weg van de Moslim" (The Way of the Muslim, the red one Dewinter is holding in his hand), to throw homosexuals from high buildings and to stone women accused or suspected of adultery.

Dewinter's message is clear and unequivocal: CLOSE what he rightfully labels a "Hate Palace". At the same time he makes a fool of Jambon for ordering the umpteenth expensive "study" to control what's being issued by the Grand Mosque while he, a simple MP, was able to lay his hands on wahhabist "literature" directly from the mosque's presses (he obtained them from, amongst others, an organization of ex-muslims).

At the very end Dewinter tells Jambon that he does not accept the latter's answer, asks what State Security has done then during sixty years of the mosque spreading the wahhabist message in the heart of Brussels, and that the Grand Mosque MUST BE CLOSED, NOW, TODAY, AND IMMEDIATELY!

CZECH PRESIDENT MILOS ZEMAN CORRECTLY COMPARES TURKS TO BARBARIANS.

He might have added "Turks of the muslim faith", but ever since some weird stuff happened to non-muslim Turks over the past one hundred years, that's an irrelevant distinction. Via our brothers-in-arms at Gates of Vienna:




Turkey plays a perfidious role in the whole "refugee" crisis. We know that over the past couple of years there was a serious problem with illegal immigrants, but the influx for a long time looked as something that could be handled. Suddenly last summer all hell broke loose with a large group making it as far as Calais. Then there was Merkel's insane invitation which did not fall on deaf ears from Nouakchott to Kabul. After that the Greeks chose to deliberately facilitate the transfer of the "refugees" to Germany as a way of payback for that country's (justified) harsh stance on the Greek debt issue. And finally Turkey is doing NOTHING against the activities of people smugglers AND ushering hundreds of thousands of "refugees" to it's west coast.

In a devilish Macchiavellistic scheme, it now asks what amounts to bribes from European countries to keep the muslim hordes from the Levant and further away on its territory, and worse, uses the occasion to bargain again for full EU membership. With the current crop of hardcore leftist EU "leaders" à la Juncker, Mogherini, Schulz and the clueless Tusk, this amounts to an extremely dangerous situation.

With mathematical certainty it can be stated that Turkey's entry into the EU would mean the end of Western civilization on European soil. Mr Zeman is right on the money. I'm sorry for the small number of supposedly secular, "progressive" Turks, but if they would really be progressive, they would leave their horrible death cult posing as a religion right away.

The time for nice words is OVER. The barbarians must be kept out.

And the traitors among us should not escape justice.

PS: there is a distinct possibility that even some reasonable people will scoff at my labeling Turks as barbarians. If so, you might want to explain to me how in a country where the constitution supposedly provides freedom of religion, the official percentage of muslims is... 99.8 per cent. How multicultural is that huh?

Last Tuesday Mark Steyn took part in a US Senate hearing on 'Climate Change' to which he was invited by Senator Ted Cruz, of the subcommittee on Space, Science and Competitiveness.

"I did not ask you a question," Markey, a Democrat, retorted when Curry asked if she could respond to his testimony during a Senate hearing Tuesday on the science behind global warming.

"Why can't she respond senator?" Conservative author and columnist Mark Steyn shot back at Markey. "You impugned her integrity. I think she's entitled to..."

"I was basically called a 'denier' — that I'm denying science," said Curry, a climate scientist at Georgia Tech University. "Did you read my written testimony?"

Markey sought to discredit Curry in his testimony by framing her as ignoring the evidence humans are putting the planet at risk. Curry was not happy with essentially being labelled a global warming "denier" and pushed back against the senator's remarks.

"Are you aware the IPCC and the consensus has no explanation for the increase of ice in the Antarctic?" Curry said. "Are you aware that they have no explanation for the fact the rate of sea level rise from 1920 to 1950 was as large, if not larger, as it currently is?"

"Are you aware that temperatures have been warming for more than 200 years, and, that in the 20th Century, 40 percent of the warming occurred before 1950 when carbon dioxide was not a factor in the warming?" Curry continued.

Curry highlighted even more uncertainties among climate scientists many Democrats and environmentalists are loathe to admit. For example, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has trouble explaining the recent "hiatus" in warming as well as the warming trend before the 1950s.

"Doctor, as I just said in my testimony — corroborated by Dr. Titley [another witness on the panel] — this is the warmest year ever recorded," Markey shot back. "Last year was the warmest year ever recorded until this year. This was the warmest November ever recorded. October... was the warmest ever recorded."

"You do not have an answer for that," Markey said before going on to site Galileo and claim Curry was relying on "something that is perhaps God-made rather than dependent upon something that is man-made" and backed by science.

"Are you saying there's no natural variability senator?" Steyn cut in. "There were alligators at the North Pole. What was that? Was that you in your SUV?"

Markey was forced to acknowledge the planet does in fact warm and cool on its own, but said natural variability is regional and the warming trend "is straight up."

"Do you know what the little ice age was senator?" Steyn said to which Markey responded by claiming Boston's record levels of snow are a product of global warming."

Speaking of which, a personage like Strindberg came in handy for Jan Wallentin's debut novel Strindberg's Star, which I would label a good read. With this well documented thriller which combines history, crime, the occult and sci-fi, Wallentin establishes himself somewhat like a Swedish Dan Brown - but I digress.

I have some suspicions re the exact date because the leaves on that tree look more like it's the height of summer rather than November. But the rest is real enough.

I do not know how the situation in France is with regards to chilren's allowances, but I guess it can't be that much different from Belgium. Basically, the basic premiums (2015) are 90,28 EUR for the first child, 167,05 EUR for the second, and 249,41 EUR for the third and following children. That's not counting sundry extras here and there.

It follows that in Belgium your typical co-religionist of the women on the photo with 4 children, about the average number, receive at the very least 756,15 EUR.

But in reality that number is far below the actually received sum, since we, with just two kids, receive around 320 EUR monthly.

It is fair to say that your average muslim family with four children receives for child allowances only in excess of 1,000 EUR monthly. Add in unemployment benefits, extra support for large families and they cash in 1,500/2,000 EUR every month - for doing nothing. The picture is clear.

These women are not allowed to work. But why should they? They reap more money via all kinds of benefits and welfare checks than they could ever earn. All they are asked to do is serve as a breeding platform. Which they do with zeal, either willingly or unwillingly.

We are literally financing our own destruction.

In the summer of 2013, we spent a week in the Lake District, in Coniston to be precise. On one of our daily outings we intended to go to Muncaster Castle, and I figured I could get there via Hardknott Pass. Very quickly it became clear that going that way would cost us precious hours... and possibly the visit to the castle too since the afternoon was already well advanced.

So we turned back and took the coast road to Muncaster Castle.

But if we had continued, we would have passed the remains of Hardknott Roman Fort, and I feel the centurion in Kipling's poem might well have hailed from here:





Hardknott Fort was built between about 120 and 138 during the reign of Emperor Hadrian, but was reportedly abandoned when Emperor Antoninus Pius advanced deeper into Scotland. It was then reoccupied around 200, only to be abandoned again in the last years of the 4th century. The garrison during this latter period would have been a detachment of 500 cavalry of the 6th Cohort of Dalmatians from the Dalmatian coast.

MOLENBEEK REVISITED.

Suddenly everybody has discovered Molenbeek and Philippe Moureaux, a despicable Parti Socialiste hack who basically designed Molenbeek - actually Sint-Jans-Molenbeek - as a hotbed for European jihadism. Years ago, I had a topic on that scoundrel, you will find an exerpt if you scroll down. But before that, check out The Gatestone Institute on monsieur Moureaux:

No one, at least outside Belgium, is talking about Molenbeek's long-time anti-Semitic mayor and the alliance with radical Islamists that secured his power.

"[T]here are more veiled women here in Molenbeek than in Casablanca." — Resident interviewed by investigative reporter Gilles Gaetner.

The many shops run by Jews suddenly disappeared in 2008 after harassment and threats by local "youths." How did Mayor Moureaux react? By accusing Belgian Jews of wanting to deny Muslims the "right to diversity."

It is supposed to be Israel's fault when the Arabs of Belgium -- and especially those of Molenbeek -- have a bad reputation? This type of anti-Semitic resentment is unfortunately not only typical for Moureaux, but for his entire party.

The Molenbeek district of Brussels is considered Europe's "terrorist factory." At least three of the perpetrators of the November terrorist attacks in Paris came from there: Ibrahim Abdeslam, Abdelhamid Abaaoud and the remaining fugitive Salah Abdeslam. The list does not stop there. The Viennese daily newspaper "Die Presse" writes:

"Molenbeek already made headlines for the first time in 2001: Abdessatar Dahmane, the murderer of the Afghan war hero and horror of the Taliban, Ahmed Schah Massoud, was also a regular at the Islamic center at 18 Rue du Manchester, known for its radical views; as well as Hassan El Haski, who was presumed behind the attacks in Casablanca (41 dead in 2003) and Madrid (200 victims in 2004). The weapons that were used in the attacks on the French satirical paper "Charlie Hebdo" in January 2015 came from Molenbeek. The French jihadist Mehdi Nemouche, who caused a bloodbath in the Brussels Jewish Museum the previous year, lived here. In August 2015, Ayoub El Khazzani started out from here on his attempt to attack a train from Amsterdam to Paris."

The two jihadists killed by Belgian police in January, in Verviers, came from Molenbeek. The terrorist Amedy Coulibaly, who attacked the HyperCacher kosher supermarket in Paris, also spent time in Molenbeek.

Belgium is, in relation to the size of its population, the greatest European exporter of fighters for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Most of them -- at least 48 -- come from Molenbeek. "Instead of bombing Raqqah," says the French journalist Eric Zemmour, "France should be bombing Molenbeek."

More than half the population of Molenbeek is Muslim; a quarter come from Morocco -- such as the Paris attackers. "You know, there are more veiled women here in Molenbeek than in Casablanca," says a resident interviewed by investigative reporter Gilles Gaetner of the French news portal "Atlantico." Gaetner does consider that "surely an exaggeration," but admits: "When one walks the streets of this Brussels district, with its nearly 96,000 residents, one is overcome by a bizarre impression. Not only would you think you were no longer in the Kingdom of Belgium, but an oppressive atmosphere reigns here."

Foreign reporters are only now discovering Molenbeek. Those who have to live there have been complaining about the conditions there for a long time. The following excerpt is from a report by the Belgian weekly magazine Le Vif L'Express from 2011:

Buildings in danger of collapsing, street corners that are becoming landfills, a parked car rusts away in a parking lot: Urban renewal would be helpful here. "This is a gangster district. Here you get beat up for five Euros," says Karim. The shopkeeper is not happy. He talks about how he recently chased a teenager with a knife in his hand, who had stolen cigarettes. This scene took place just steps away from the Ribaucourt subway station. "The Rue Piers is not safe at this hour," says a young woman, who after 6pm either makes sure she is accompanied home, or else takes a taxi. She has been living with friends in an apartment in the district for three years. The apartment is large, and not too expensive. "But I am always vigilant," she says. Especially when she is wearing a skirt. "Insults, spitting, groping: I have experienced that." Other residents are moving out. "My house was burglarized twice within one year," says a witness. "When I go to the supermarket around the corner, I double-lock the door and turn on the alarm."

Testimonials to a city in fear. Much of the responsibility for this apparently rests with Philippe Moureaux, member of the Socialist Party (Parti Socialiste), who was mayor of Molenbeek from 1992 until 2012. Confronted with the complaints of his citizens, he regularly denied the unsustainable conditions in his town: "It makes me angry when people pick out tiny details and lie about them," he said in the quoted report. Molenbeek is "not the Bronx;" the problems with criminality only concern a small number of streets, said Moureaux.

Then Moureaux showed his true colors: "Molenbeek is a symbol that certain people want to destroy. But only over my dead body." Certain people? Does the mayor actually believe in a conspiracy against his district of misery? One does not have to search for long to realize that Moureaux, on whose initiative Belgium passed an "anti-racism law" in 1981, is an anti-Semite -- not exactly common even in Belgium. At the same time, he downplays and supports the violence of young Muslims -- also against Jews.

"... This list would not be complete without Philippe Moureaux, the mayor of Molenbeek, one of the 19 communes of Greater Brussels. Moureaux is one of the top Parti Socialiste officials in the whole of Brussels, and Molenbeek is his personal fiefdom. It was he who, in 2005, forbade his police officers to drink coffee and eat sandwiches in the streets during Ramadan. He also ordered them to limit their patrols significantly. Today, Molenbeek is a hotbed of Islamic extremism. Apart from his career in local politics, Moureaux has also been, in times past, a pivotal figure in Belgium's federal political arena, where he was deeply involved in drafting the law allowing non-Belgians to vote in municipal elections, as well legislation against racism and xenophobia. Over the years, this legislation was time and again amended until it was tailor-made, so to say, to "kill" the Vlaams Blok - or so Moureaux & Co thought. That was in 2004, and the VB only escaped being completely outlawed by changing its name. Philippe Moureaux' hatred of the VB is not only because of the "racism" he and his ilk perceive in this party or in each and everyone who dares to object to obvious problems caused by muslim immigrants. No, this man hates Flemings because he is a racist himself, and a fierce anti-Fleming racist at that. I have known him for over twenty-five years now, and during all this time I have never heard this cretin utter a single word in Flemish. I bet however, that by now he does speak quite a mouthful of arabic. After all, he married a muslim wife...."

It's a shame I have come to copy and paste, but I'm too dead tired to put up material of my own. What counts however is that we in the Counter Jihad Movement get the message from people like Hoecke across, and if this humble blog reaches but one person who would otherwise have missed the text of Hoecke's speech over at GoV, I am grateful:

"Dear friends, you know what the big problem is? The big problem is that Germany, that Europe, have lost their masculinity. I say: we must rediscover our masculinity, for only when we rediscover our masculinity will we be resolute, and only when we are resolute, will we be able to mount a defence. And we must be able to mount a defence, dear friends.

Dear friends, Paris has become the European capital of terrorism. And like me, you too are horrified. I know that. But at the same time, I also wonder whether the tears shed by the German and European old-party politicians could really be genuine tears. Genuine tears can only be shed, by the one who has done everything to prevent a misfortune. Dear friends, there was the murder of Theo van Gogh 2004 in the Netherlands; this year already dozens of hand grenades were detonated in Malmö in Sweden; and most recently, the terrible terrorist attacks in Paris. These are the consequences of a decades-long, failed immigration and asylum policy, dear friends. More than ever is our demand justified, — and the previous speakers also substantiated that in all clarity — the influx to Europe must come to an end immediately.

And precisely because of the background of the terror attacks in Paris; and because of the policies which might now be expected from the old-party politicians; more than ever, dear friends, I must warn: we Germans must not allow ourselves — through the actions of manipulated people incapable of independent and responsible decision — to be drawn into wars, which are not our wars.

Our Germany is facing a national emergency, for our Germany is already a failed state.

It is the small events, it is the everyday events of the past weeks which have happened everywhere and in every location of our republic. Small events, which the media hardly notices at all, but which are still a clear indication that we are in the middle of the failed-state phase.


I would like to remind you of two of these. The District Court Passau recently sentenced a people-smuggler to a scandalously meagre punishment: — two years on parole. The man — by the very nature of a suspended sentence — is in fact at large. But the reason, dear friends, the reason given by the judge of the District Court in Passau is a cry for help and at the same time an admission of the judiciary’s failure to fulfil its statutory obligation. The judge gave the following reason for his decision, I quote: “In view of the conditions at the borders, statutory law has been suspended by the German politicians…”

The judiciary, dear friends, has here capitulated to the inaction of the politicians, and the police WILL soon capitulate. And to prognosticate that, one truly does not have to be a prophet.

A further example, a quite small, everyday event, which perhaps you heard about: Last week fifty asylum seekers were supposed to have found a new home in a communal accommodation in the Erfurt Warsbergstraße. Twenty of them did not wish to move in, because they considered the accommodation — a former office building customised especially for them — as unsuitable.

It took a few hours before our completely overextended police, who really have other things to do… — At this point, an enormous, heartfelt thank-you to our officers, who are today once again doing magnificent work. Thank you for affording us protection. — It took hours before the police were able to persuade most of them to move into their quarters anyway.

But five of them refused tenaciously. They spent the night in the entrance to the underground garage of the former office building. By the next morning, the five asylum seekers had disappeared; five, in addition to the three hundred thousand in this country, who are not registered; who, in some locales, present with highly contagious diseases; and, isolated cases perhaps too, but nevertheless highly active diseases. With disquieting intentions they are underway in Germany on this very day.

Dear friends, that is an unmistakable sign of a failed state. The AfD speaks as the only political force to publicly address this problem and fight for the preservation of our country. Dear friends, those who have spoken before me have already emphasised this, but I will say it once more in conclusion: Merkel, Federal Chancellor, Dr. Angela Merkel: you have forfeited your right to continue leading the German people. We need a new Federal Chancellor [female]. We need a new Federal Chancellor [male], and he can only come from the AfD, dear friends.

The federal government, to be exact, has created 500 new positions in the secret services. A representative of the Great Coalition told Bild am Sonntag last weekend, I quote:

“It is absolutely necessary, that in the face of the danger of terrorism from Islamists — and — right-wing radicals, that we strengthen our secret service personnel”.

Dear friends, since anyone who still utters the term “Volk” — and I do it unflinchingly and with self-conscious deliberation and with much delight — is stigmatised as a right-wing radical — we must assume that the dissatisfied Volk themselves are to be the object of monitoring: GDR 2.0 — I know which way the wind is blowing; that is all I have to say to that.

Were the borders perhaps opened; perhaps opened, deliberately opened, or were they deliberately kept open, in order to bring about chaos? And is our ossified representational party democracy perhaps to be translated into an authoritarian order? No, we do not wish to strengthen any conspiracy theories here.

Only to those governing, you undistinguished Ladies and Gentlemen, you old-party politicians, I call out to you: in case you harbour such thoughts, forget that right now! The third basic principle:

Germany must act along the lines of self-determination.

Germany, in the estimation of the highest ranking security officials, is no longer in a position to guarantee her domestic and external security. The situation is spinning out of control. And what is the Bundeswehr doing? They are serving foreign interests throughout the world, while the soldiers who remain here evacuate their barracks for asylum seekers and repair toilets in reception centres.

We require, finally, a political leadership willing to make independent decisions in the national interest.

The fourth basic principle:

Germany must win back her domestic freedom.

Not infrequently, the so-called “Lügenpresse” [lying press] as many call it, have earned their name honestly. In the place of objective reporting, they propagate a fatal welcoming culture. The state television, financed by the TV-licence fee, brand us as adversaries, because we say what is not supposed to be said.

Political correctness lies like blight on our country. The AfD is the guarantor of free speech and of the unsparing analysis of our situation. Because we have gathered here today, the domestic freedom in Germany is still alive.

She said this a few hours before yet another US citizen was killed by terrorists shouting "Allahu Akbar!" - this time in a mass slaughter at the Radisson Hotel in Bamako, Mali. Hostages were given a stark choice: if they could recite from the Koran, they would live; if they were incapable of reciting from the Koran, they would die. So whoever these terrorists were - "you name it" - they knew enough about Islam to be able to recognize quotations from the Koran. Yet they can't be Muslims because Muslims have "nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism".

So who does have something to do with terrorism? Republicans mainly. Republicans are the greatest recruiting tool for terrorism that has ever been devised - far more effective than jihadist snuff videos on social media. Just ask President Obama:

In this case, they goad them by suggesting that Christians need more "protection" than Muslims. In the Radisson Hotel in Bamako, the Christians did, indeed, need more protection - which is why they're dead and the observant Muslims are alive. In Syria and Iraq, in less than two years, the oldest Christian communities on earth have been entirely eradicated - every Christian male is dead or fled, and their prepubescent daughters are now rape slaves for the sexual inadequates of ISIS. So, whether they're "more worthy of protection", those Christians could certainly have used a little of it.

Even when you make it out of your "war-torn land" and join the great swarm of refugees yearning to breath free, a Christian can use a little "protection":

In his post, entitled “Vous n’aurez pas ma haine”, which translates as "You will not have my hatred," he writes that he will never give the terrorists the "satisfaction" of anger and hate, despite losing his wife in the shooting at the Bataclan theatre. Leris and his wife have an infant son together.

Leiris does not name his wife, but BuzzFeed reports that Hélène Muyal-Leiris, a Parisian makeup artist, was one of the victims of the massacre at the Bataclan.

The post is in French but here are excerpts, translated into English:"

"On Friday evening you stole the life of an exceptional person, the love of my life, the mother of my son, but you will not have my hatred.

So no, I will not give you the satisfaction of hating you. You want it, but to respond to hatred with anger would be to give in to the same ignorance that made you what you are.

Us two, my son and I, we will be stronger than every army in the world. I cannot waste any more time on you as I must go back to [my son] who has just woken from his sleep.

He is only just 17 months old, he is going to eat his snack just like every other day, then we are going to play like every other day and all his life this little boy will be happy and free.

Because you will never have his hatred either."

One of the most surprising aspects of the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night is how "deeply shocked" members of the European political establishment appeared to be.

Angela Merkel, David Cameron and the Pope all expressed their condolences -- and "deep shock" -- at the well-coordinated, citywide terror attacks in six different places across Paris, which as of this writing have claimed at least 128 lives and more than 200 wounded. French President François Hollande confirmed that Islamic State terrorists perpetrated the attacks, carried out with suicide bombings, hand grenades and assault rifles. According to witnesses, terrorists were heard yelling, "Allahu Akbar" ['Allah is the Greatest"] and "this is for Syria" as they shot into the audience at the Bataclan Theater, where a rock concert was underway.




Although the writing has literally been on the wall in blood for the past decade and a half, the West, especially Europe, continues to be taken aback every time a new terror attack occurs, as if each one were the first.

After 9/11 in the United States; the 2004 Madrid train bombings, which killed nearly 200 and wounded 2000, and the 2005 attacks on London's transit system where 56 people were killed and 700 wounded, world leaders have no conceivable excuse left to be shocked and surprised at mass terrorism occurring in the midst of Western capitals.

As recently as a month ago, Andrew Parker, director-general of Britain's MI5, said that the terror threat to the UK was at its highest level in more than three decades and "growing." British police and intelligence agencies have intervened to foil six terrorist plots in the past year alone. "That is the highest number I can recall in my 32-year career, certainly the highest number since 9/11," he said. "It represents a threat which is continuing to grow, largely because of the situation in Syria and how that affects our security."

Instead of Britain, these attacks happened in France. They could have happened in Germany, where police revealed the arrest of a man whom they believe may be connected the Paris attacks. Recently, the Welt Am Sonntag newspaper cited intelligence warnings that "the integration of hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants Germany is no longer possible in light of the number and already existing parallel societies." "Parallel societies" refers to Muslim communities that have little or no contact with the rest of the society in their host countries. According to an intelligence document obtained by Welt am Sonntag, "We are importing Islamic extremism, Arab anti-Semitism, national and ethnic conflicts of other peoples, as well as a different understanding of society and law." Most ominously, however, the intelligence document went on to say that "German security agencies ... will not be in the position to solve these imported security problems and thereby the reactions arising from Germany's population."

Already in February, it was reported in several European newspapers, among them the British Daily Telegraph, that ISIS threatened Europe with an influx of 500,000 migrants, which would include ISIS operatives hiding among them, to create chaos on the continent.

Astoundingly, European leaders nevertheless allowed the current wave of migrants to flood into their countries. Many of these migrants hide underground, often in the suburbs with these "parallel societies;" with European authorities unable to account for their whereabouts.

In September, a Syrian ISIS smuggler told the British daily, The Express, that more than 4,000 covert ISIS gunmen had been smuggled into Western nations, and were "ready" across the European Union. He also said that the undercover infiltration was the beginning of a larger plot to carry out attacks in the West, allegedly in retaliation for the US-led coalition airstrikes against ISIS.

In September, Lebanon's education minister, Elias Bou Saab, estimated that thousands of ISIS "radicals" were among the 1.1 million Syrians currently in refugee camps. He predicted that one in 50 migrants are members of the terror organization. Although at the time, the minister admitted that he had no solid information on the infiltration of refugees, he said, "My gut feeling is ISIS are facilitating an operation. To go to Europe and other places."

The terrorist attacks in Paris are the direct and deplorable result of political cowardice and inertia. Politicians are unable or unwilling to name the problems by their rightful name. The politicians have been shying away from engaging with the enormous security and social problems that Muslim immigration into Europe and the West has caused and continues to cause.

In the face of the Islamic terrorism that the West has been experiencing for more than a decade. The current generation of European political leaders has exhibited an irresponsibility and lack of leadership that is almost infantile by allowing unchecked Muslim immigration into Europe, with its free, open borders. The question is whether the terrorist attacks in Paris will finally amount to a wake-up call for the West's political establishment.

Warnke said it remains unclear precisely what Mohammad had planned. Local and federal authorities, including the FBI and U.S. Department of Homeland Security, have yet to find anything to explain his motivation.

“We have nothing to indicate this person was on anybody’s radar,” Warnke said, “absolutely nothing they could find to indicate he was doing anything other than being a college student at UC Merced.”

Mohammad was shot and killed by UC police Wednesday after he stabbed and wounded four people in the ramapage that began in a second-floor classroom..."

As I more or less suspected would happen at some point, cracks are beginning to form in Merkel's team. Via Die Welt:





The leader of the Bavarian CSU (Christian Democrats), Hans-Peter Uhl, who counts among Germany's top federal politicians, has stated, in a noted op-ed in the Frankfurter Allgemeine, that the borders must be closed "with or without Merkel". "If Merkel does not change course, she cannot stay on as Chancellor. The borders shall be closed with Merkel or the borders shall be closed without Merkel".

Most "refugees" enter Germany via southern Bavaria where the authorities can no longer cope with the massive influx. Not surprisingly, neighbor Austria is also finally voicing criticism on Germany's open door policy, with the Austrian Foreign Minister, Sebastian Kurz, now demanding strongly that this policy is discontinued.

What a difference six weeks make! On 12 September, Werner Faymann, the Austrian Chancellor, compared Hungarian PM Viktor Orban's measures against the "refugees" to the nazi deportation of Jews. We don't hear much of Mr Faymann anymore. Below you see a video of Austrian people demonstrating in Spielfeld, near the border with Slovenia. These people experienced firsthand that the influx of asylum seekers is nothing less than a muslim invasion. Basic common sense in action from Austrians who can no longer swallow the insane multiculti gobbledegook:




As for me, I can't wait to see Merkel booted out. This insane woman has to go.
