SUNDAY ART SNACK: THREE WORKS BY ANDREW WYETH.

"Charlie Ervine", painted in 1937.

A recurring character, probably a neighbor at Wyeth's summer retreat in Maine.

"Outpost", 1968.

This is Betsy Wyeth, Andrew's wife, at their Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania property.

"Public Sale", a work from 1943.

The painting depicts the auction of a farm after the death of the farmer's wife.

Goede nacht.
