Cosmonauts Sergey Ryazansky and Fedor Yurchikhin shot the video during a seven and a half hour spacewalk in August, during which they performed maintenance and launched mini satellites.
At about the 1:13 mark you see one cosmonaut launch a mini satellite byhand - it's probably safer to speak of a nanosatellite, since it doesn't look to weigh more than 10 kg. Since it looks rather long, I guess it doesn't fall under the CubeSat category, which are based on a 10 x 10 x 10cm cubic unit.

VLAAMS BELANG FORTY YEARS YOUNG.
Today, October 1 2017, the nationalist Vlaams Belang (Flemish Interest) party, of which I am a member, feted it's 40-year anniversary. It was founded in 1977 as the Vlaams Blok (Flemish Bloc) by Karel Dillen as a spinoff from the then sole party defending Flemish interests, the Volksunie (People's Union). The reasons for Dillen & Co. to call it quits with the Volksunie was the so called Egmont Pact, a proposed accord between Flemish and Walloon parties to organize Belgium as a federal instead of a unitary state. Dillen and his new party argued, not without reason, that the Egmont Pact was extremely disadvantageous for Flemings.
From the beginning the Vlaams Blok profiled itself as a separatist party whose primary goal was Flemish independence. Barely less important than this stance were it's unashamedly conservative viewpoints with much emphasis for rule of law, traditional (family) values and respect for Flemish language and culture. Another hallmark was its resistance against immigration from Third World countries.
It should not come as a surprise that from the get-go the Flemish Bloc was regarded and treated as a pariah in the Belgian political landscape, a condition which in 1989 found its zenith in the installation of a so-called 'cordon sanitaire', an agreement between all other parties to never work together, let alone form a coalition, with the Bloc.
Many critics will point out that the main argument for this 'cordon sanitaire' was the party's 'racist' stance vis-à-vis other ethnicities, and to be sure, in the early days there were indeed a number of unsavoury characters among the top brass, as well as in the lower ranks, who certainly held disreputable views. Lecture of this neat, clear magazine, which in every issue thoughtfully addresses grave issues compromising the Belgian state and society's proper functioning itself, will leave the reader shaking his or her head at the completely unfounded hyperbolic accusations.
But damage has certainly been inflicted. As a rather notorious socialist, a certain Dr. Joseph Goebbels, once said, "a lie repeated a hundredfold becomes a truth". It is no surprise then that repeating the same lies for forty years has indeed done serious damage to the way the VB is perceived among especially unwitting and uncritical voters. It has also gravely impaired the party's ability to attract electable politicans and/or capable administrators. In a similar vein we must also mention the shrewd use of language as a weapon by our moral betters, and a very effective one at that, to smear what is essentially a normal democratic party. It is no coincidence that 24 November 1991, the date of the VB's first huge electoral breakthrough, was dubbed 'Black Sunday', a phrase that over time began to lead an own life. Think about it, "Black Sunday". It has the same ominous ring as, say, "Day of Infamy" or "Bloody Sunday". To many a hitherto uninterested citizen (in politics, anyway), surely a party that made gains warranting the use of such a phrase can be up to no good, is it not? The same holds true for the term 'cordon sanitaire'. The choice of words is deliberate. A 'cordon sanitaire', why, that implies that you have to cordon off, contain something, that's... filthy, dirty. Slimy. Smelly. Not hygienic.

In 2017, the Vlaams Belang is still standing strong, in the sense that it has a core base of ardent supporters who will never quit. But it barely represents around 8 per cent of Flemish voters anymore. There's no denying that the establishment's dirty tricks haven't missed their effect, although, to be honest, the VB's own stubborn stance on the unattainable (and unpractical) goal of Flemish independence has probably played a greater role in its isolation than many of its leadership would want to admit.
Be that as it may, we normals have to go to war with the weapons we have. In the vessel that's available. As for me personally, the VB is not ideal, but it is the political movement that best suits my needs, and, in my honest opinion, it is the sole party truly grasping the enormous dangers threatening our society.
What is the alternative? Let me give you a stellar example, one of the persons quoted above, namely Wouter Beke, Chairman of the CDV, the "Flemish" "Christian" "Democratic" party. The photo below shows you this cretin during the party's New Year's reception, January 9 of this year. Mr Beke is exhorting his followers to repent, since he is of the opinion that the humanitarian crisis as posed by the colossal "refugee" influx from countries where they actually hate us and our way of life....
... is our fault. Look, just look at this jerk's body language. Look at the gigantic image of the drowned toddler Aylan Kurdi, who died because his own dad failed to provide decent life jackets and should not have attempted the crossing in the first place - let alone that apparently he was a human trafficker himself. Yet here we have Mr Beke, hurling accusations in Frans, Klaas, Barbara and Sofie's faces: "You are responsible!!! This is all your fault!!! We have to put it right!!!". What an insane point of view! The whole of the muslim world is a cesspool of all societal pathologies imaginable, essentially brought about by their gruesome belief system 'islam' itself. But somehow, somewhere, we are responsible, and thus we should welcome millions of barbarians in our midst, cater for them, and have ourselves overrun and killed.

After one year, all that camo caused an unbearable strain on Mr Mahdi's nerves so that he publicly went on record to demand that the troops be sent back to their barracks.
At basically the same day his op-ed appeared, 23 March 2017, two troopers patrolling in Antwerp stopped a lunatic who drove his car at high speed over the city's famous shopping street 'De Meir' (this was one day after the terror attack on Westminster Bridge in London). Upon arrest, it appeared that he had weapons in his trunk as well as suspicious liquids. He carried a French passport (and camo clothing). His name? Mohamed R. Although police ultimately failed to prove an intention to carry out a terrorist attack, the madman's behaviour was so suspect that he was held for several months. Which is a scandal actually, because now and then we all drive at 55~60 miles per hour through shopping centers with guns and stuff you can use to make bombs in the back of the car, isn't it?
Anyway, after that PR disaster Mr Mahdi had the good sense to shut up for a while about the Belgian Army being ordered back to the barracks. Mr Mahdi probably figured it was better to lay low for some time.
Just imagine he's got now the attention of a couple more of those darn Flemings. The Tom Robinson Band with 2-4-6-8 Motorway. Brought it out as their debut single in 1977 and it was an instant hit.
British punk/new wave band from London. Over the top leftist loons but I guess this single is here to stay.

"Girls as young as four are being 'forced' to wear the hijab at state-funded Islamic schools, campaigners have warned. In eight schools in England, including three primary schools, the hijab appears to be compulsory, according to research carried out by the National Secular Society.
Critics say the headscarf encourages the sexualisation of children because it is usually worn in front of men as a sign of modesty when girls reach puberty.
A further 51 private Islamic schools of the 176 surveyed said it is compulsory for female pupils to wear the hijab, reports the Sunday Times, while 18 said wearing it was optional.
And on the website of one school it says the face must be covered outside school, not just in class.
A Bradford school also says it is compulsory. The National Secular Society has sent their findings to the education secretary, Justine Greening.
They have asked if school inspectors can do more to make sure pupils from Muslim backgrounds can have more choice in their uniform.
In a letter to Ms Greening, the Society also described the practice as 'illiberal and repressive' and said no pupil should be obliged to wear the hijab, or any religious clothing, while at school.
In a survey for the Sunday Times last month it was revealed nearly a fifth of 800 state primary schools in 11 regions of England now list the hijab as a part of their uniform, albeit mostly optional.
Ofsted are probing whether schools have come under pressure from religious leaders or parents.
The Department for Education said: 'Uniform policies are a matter for the individual school. If a school decided to allow a pupil to wear a burqa that would be up to the school.'"

Confronted with the increasing occurence of illegal street prayers by the town's muslim community, leading to serious traffic problems as well as dangerous situations, the Clichy town council decided to put up a banner over Jean Jaurès Avenue with the inscription: "STOP ILLEGAL STREET PRAYERS - FOR THE RESPECT FOR EVERYBODY, THE RULE OF LAW, FOR ANYONE'S PEACE OF MIND" (translation from «Stop aux prières de rue illégales – Pour le respect de tous, pour l’État de droit, pour la tranquillité de chacun«).

... If and when Islam persuades America to submit, it most probably won’t be through force of arms. The civilizational struggle in which we are now engaged is primarily a culture war. America used to be good at cultural warfare because America once had cultural confidence. The Cold War was in large part a cultural war, and America won it because it didn’t have qualms about demonstrating the superiority of the American way to the Soviet way.
But times change. These days, may Americans would rather shred their culture than spread it. Cultural shame rather than cultural pride rules the day. And, not surprisingly, people who are ashamed of their culture can’t be counted on to defend it. Those who are anxious to pull down statues of Washington, Jefferson, and Columbus are unlikely to put up much resistance to Islam’s cultural aggression. Instead, they will be disposed to facilitate it.
Islam, on the other hand, is full of new-found cultural pride. After the defeat of the Russians in Afghanistan, the overthrow of the Shah in Iran, and the toppling of the Twin Towers, Muslims could once again believe that Allah had destined them to subjugate the world to Islam. At the same time that Americans began to doubt their own cultural heritage, Islam undertook a remarkable campaign to export its ideology to the rest of the world. Enabled by massive oil revenues, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States funded the building of mosques and madrassas all over the world. While America was investing heavily in new weapons systems, the Gulf States were placing their bets on a weaponized religious system.
And there’s the rub. Buoyed by the initial successes in Iraq and Afghanistan, Americans began to think of the war against jihad as primarily a military affair. In the process of defeating the enemy on the battlefield, we lost sight of the cultural side of the struggle. But Islamists stayed focused on the larger picture. While we were winning the armed battles in Afghanistan and Iraq, the cultural jihadists were winning battle after battle on the culture front.
Indeed, most of the Islamist victories came without a struggle. Key cultural institution in the West simply acquiesced to whatever it was that the Islamists wanted. Hijabs in the workplace? Diversity demands it. Prayer breaks for Muslim employees? Well, no more than five a day. Islam-friendly curriculums in K-through grad-school? Think of it as affirmative action for years of neglect. More Muslim immigrants? It would be against our values to say no."
In mid-August I went cycling with my daughter in and around Maasmechelen, in the eastern Belgian province of Limburg. We climbed one of the terrills there, huge piles of rubble, the legacy of coal mining in the region. From on top of one of the terrills there, Maasmechelen lay at our feet. And lookie look there, a bit to the left of the Saint Barbara church: the minaret of the tevhid mosque. I had looked forward to seeing this part of Limburg. The sight of that missile-like minaret more or less ruined the moment.

"One way of grasping the vulnerability of our society to Islamization is to ask “Who’s going to stop it?” Where, exactly, are the forces of resistance?
The university? American universities are bastions of political correctness and mandatory tolerance. Most of them are already quite sympathetic to the Islamic point of view. A combination of intimidation (from both Muslim and leftist groups), Saudi money, and multicultural ideology has ensured that when push comes to shove, the universities will line up with the Islamist camp. They are constantly on the lookout for offenses against the “other.” Accordingly, American bishops seem to think that “Islamophobia” poses a grave threat to society. Many of them seem more concerned about anti-Muslim bigotry than about the victims of Islamic terror. To prove that they themselves are not “Islamophobes,” the USCCB operates one of the largest programs for resettling refugees from Muslim countries into the U.S. Besides facilitating Muslim migration, American, as well as European bishops, have facilitated the migration of Islamic beliefs. On numerous occasions, prominent clergy have pronounced these beliefs to be benign and peaceful, and thus deserving of a warm welcome. In general, Church leaders see themselves as friends and protectors of Islam. Given their current mindset, the bishops are unlikely to recognize an Islamic cultural putsch, let alone resist it.
Big Business? Corporations also qualify as cultural institutions. Much of our understanding of what is culturally acceptable and unacceptable is picked up in the workplace. This can be a good thing and often was in the past. Unfortunately, many corporations now reflect and magnify some of the worst cultural trends: arbitrary speech codes, draconian diversity policies, transgenderism, and the like. Currently, several large corporations are using their leverage to suppress speech that is critical of Islam. Giant companies such as PayPal, Google, Facebook, and Twitter are actively trying to shut down websites and individuals that provide accurate information about Islamic cultural jihad. The media monopolies are playing the role that the Ministry of Truth played in Orwell’s 1984. All the really useful information about Islam that has been painfully accumulated in recent years is being quietly dropped down the memory hole.
Why are the counter-jihad sites being shut down? Because they supposedly are “intolerant” and “racist.” Here we come back to the “old-war” mentality. The corporations, the schools, the churches, and the media are ready to do battle with racists, sexists, homophobes, Islamophobes, and transgenderphobes, but they lack the mindset that would allow them to resist the long march through the institutions being conducted by determined and skillful cultural jihadists. In short, their energies are focused on evils that have long been in retreat or on non-existent evils (transgenderphobia, etc.). Meanwhile, the much larger threat posed by Islam draws ever closer."

Wim Mertens is a Belgian/Flemish composer, pianist, guitarist and musicologist, who did the soundtrack for this film drama by Peter Greenaway. In The Belly of an Architect, Brian Dennehy - who I first got to know as the ruthless sheriff in the 1982 Rambo: First Blood movie - plays Stourley Kracklite, an architect whose physical decline throughout the movie is a metaphor for the gradually diminishing stature of an 18th century visionary French architect by the name of Etienne-Louis Boullée. Very few of Boullées low-key designs have survived to this day, and none of his grandiose, even megalomaniac projects were actually built. But both in his own times and in the twentieth century, when he was rediscovered, he exerted a considerable influence.

At the end of the day, the very fact that there are such large numbers of 'DREAMers' in the country that's the vanguard of the developed world is in itself a sign that the developing countries have failed BIG TIME. I don't feel the slightest inclination to move to Nouakchott or Mogadishu or Sanaa because it SUCKS over there. I am happy to live here, in an as yet somehow democratic state and an environment that is the fruit of unfathomable blood sacrifices with an infrastructure and a heritage that are the result of an frenzied labor effort, technological excellence, and dedication. Now, Europe is confronted by legions of people fleeing hellholes in Africa and the muslim world. The former have post-colonialism now had 60 years plus to get their house in order, and still there are very few hopeful signs from that continent. The latter have had 1,400 years and only those lucky enough to sit with their butts on oil function - somewhat.

Sixty years ago, the US Government was happy to call its "comprehensive immigration reform" plans "Operation Wetback", and President Eisenhower was willing to use the term in public. Now we expect jelly-spined finger-in-the-windy legislators to stand firm against "Dreamers". Yeah, right. As for Europe, if Chancellor Merkel and the EU start calling their legions of sturdy young Muslim "refugees" Dreamers, it's game over."

OUTRAGE: FAMOUS BELGIAN CHOCOLATIER GODIVA GOES COMPLETELY HALAL.
At age 52 I have become slightly annoyed when being reminded by foreign nationals that my country is only known for it's waffles, Brussels sprouts, TinTin, beer, moules et frites ... and chocolate. That image is a caricature, since all that stuff is not even in the top ten of Belgium's top export categories.
Be that as it may, there's no denying the fact that chocolate is one of those things that will inevitably be linked for eternity plus three days when mentioning our small kingdom at the North Sea. Top brands include Neuhaus, Côte d’Or, Jean Galler, Daskalidès, Leonidas, and ... Godiva.
It now appears that Godiva has gone full throttle for halal. Via Het Nieuwsblad:

When I was a kid and there was some event or party (marriage, Xmas, New Year, an anniversary, you name it) there were ALWAYS scores of liquor-filled pralines on hand, and it was kids who ran away with most of them. "We wish to offer our products in a universal manner to a public as broad as possible". Yeah right cowards, and in order to do that you simply dispense with the alcohol to suit your muslim overlords! SATURDAY NIGHT SMALL FACES, SKUNK ANANSIE.
Small Faces with Lazy Sunday. Released as a single in 1968.
English mod rock band from East London, founded in 1965 by Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones, and Jimmy Winston. One year later already the latter was replaced by Ian McLagan as keyboardist.
Fast forward twenty years with Skunk Anansie and Charity. From the 1995 album Paranoid and Sunburnt.
Skin looks like a nightmare and I'm not sure I'm gonna put this on my iPod, which is a polite way of saying I'm never gonna do it, but Charity is an essential mid-nineties UK rock sound (the band is generally not regarded as Britpop though). Yes I still got an iPod, prolly ten years old already. Say what you will about Apple products but I have no issues with their quality. Yet.
This post was entirely edited using a Raspberry Pi3 model B, which I bought some 8 months ago via Amazon. Its CPU is a 1.2 GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 superscalar processor. A superscalar CPU allows for some kind of instruction-level parallelism, which means that more than one instruction can be done per clock cycle, as opposed to what single (scalar) processors do. A superscalar processor dispatches multiple instructions to different execution units (on the processor).
My Raspberry Pi (actually only the Starter Kit model) came with a 16GB Class 10 MicroSD Card, which was preloaded with the Raspbian OS and NOOBS (New Out of Box Software). Setting it up was easy as pie. There's a simple browser called Epiphany, and Python, a programming language. There's two editors to edit and debug Python code, but when my first programme, edited in the most recent one, refused to work, it took a lot of cursing before it dawned upon me to try the simpler editor. And that did the trick.
The Pi 3 also has built-in WiFi as well as Bluetooth. The WiFi works great, but while Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone did succeed, I got the message (on the monitor I had hooked to the Raspberry) that 'this device has no services which can be used with Raspberry Pi'. Duh.
Anyway, slaap wel. Thx for tuning in.

RECOMMENDED VIDEO: BIRTH OF THE B-29 SUPERFORTRESS. UPDATE.
Last month we were in the States and, upon learning that the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum on The Mall has actually a sibling near Dulles, the Steven Udvar Hazy Center, we immediately carted off to it. The collection dwarfs the one in Washington, and what's more, there's much more exciting displays, a.o. the SR71 Blackbird, the Space Shuttle Discovery and... the Enola Gay!!!
I'm having issues with Flickr again, so sorry, no Udvar Hazy Center pics yet, but they're coming.
UPDATE.
Okay, expect photos again. I found shelter at Imageshack for a measly 19 bucks a year. Eat THAT, Photobucket! It's a scandal you dare to charge 400 US dollars a year. You're practically begging to go bankrupt.
Anyway, below a pic I took in the Steven Udvar Hazy Center. In the left upper corner you can make out the passageway which allows a peek inside the cockpit of Paul Tibbets' mount. However, just opposite it the passageway has transparent shields, which I suppose are for deterring vandals.
And here is a photo I took from precisely that passageway. To avoid reflections in the transparent shielding, I held my iPhone above it with outstretched arms, pressed the virtual button blindly, and hoped for the best. It turned out to be a decent pic:

BELGIAN SF IN TAL AFAR, NORTHERN IRAQ.
A rare instance of good use of our tax euros. Belgian Special Forces take up position on top of a building in Tal Afar as the Iraqi Army's operation to drive IS out of that town unfolds:

A couple of side notes:
a.) good that apparently a more appropriate camo has been issued, even if it's still a wood pattern in a desert environment, for the regular Belgian army camo would be totally out of place. Even though the pattern has its advocates, personally I have never been very fond, to say the least, about the typical jigsaw camo. You can see it in the video below.
b.) The guided missile system is the Israeli-made Rafael Spike-MR, of which the Belgian Army bought 66 systems for 41 million EUR in 2012. MR stands for, of course, medium range, and in Israel the system is dubbed as "Gil". The weight of the missile is 14 kg (30 lb 14 oz), and its minimum range is 200 m, while its maximum range is 2,500 m (1.6 mi). Given that IS has no armor save a couple of obsolete Russian tanks which by now have probably all been obliterated, the deployment of Spikes may seem overkill, but the missile is not only anti-tank as most articles accompanying these photos suggest, Spikes can also be used as anti-personnel weapons.

Iraqi Forces said Wednesday they have captured two neighborhoods on the edge of the Islamic State-held town of Tal Afar.
Lt. Gen. Abdul-Amir Rasheed Yar Allah, who commands the operation, said special forces drove the militants from al-Kifah al-Janoubi on the southwestern edge of the town, and that federal police and paramilitary units took al-Kifah al-Shamali in the northwest.
Iraqi leaders often declare areas liberated when some fighting is still underway.
Last month, Iraq declared victory over IS in Mosul, the country's second largest city, after a grueling nine-month campaign. The Tal Afar operation began Sunday, and is aimed at driving IS from one of the last major pockets it controls in Iraq.
As in Mosul, the U.S.-led coalition is providing airstrikes as well as other forms of support to Iraqi troops, and U.S. and other special forces are operating near the front lines.
British Maj. Gen. Rupert Jones, the coalition's deputy commander, said Iraqi forces are off to a "really positive start" and are "closing the noose" around the militants.
"The key is that they've broken into the city," he told Pentagon reporters via videoconference from Baghdad.
The extremist group has lost most of the territory it seized when it swept across northern and central Iraq in the summer of 2014, and has also suffered major losses in Syria.
But the coalition estimates that the group still has some 2,000 fighters in Tal Afar and 2,500 in the Syrian city of Raqqa, where U.S.-backed Syrian forces are fighting the group.

Dang. Had to look it up. That movie was Drugstore Cowboy, from 1989, and it also featured Kelly Lynch. Also, it wasn't Burrough's corpse they set up, it was a live Burroughs, he still walked the Earth. Somewhat.

Switzerland has, for European standards, rather liberal gun laws, as citizens are permitted to freely purchase and own semi-automatic guns. The most reliable surveys suggest around a quarter of the population owns fire weapons. It should be noted however that a decade ago, that number was hovering around 100 per cent.

On hearing that another smug holier-than-thou know-it-all - Kevin Plank of Under Armour - left President Trump's American Manufacturing Council over the President's perceived weak message re the Charlottesville riots, I decided to check out WHO exactly is on that council and WHO has thus far demonstrated the most mature reaction to said riots.
It did not take me long to decide it was Michael Dell, founder, Chairman and CEO of Dell Technologies Inc.:

This is exactly how a responsible CEO should react. Reading down BI's list, I came across far too many CEO's who gave the impression that they drank too much of the multiculti diversity Kool Aid. Multiculturalism is another word for Orchestrated Western Demise. Only in the West is this vile ideology celebrated. Streets in Beijing and in Madras and in Harare look recognizably Chinese, Indian and African, and will continue to do so. Only the West is asked that it radically changes its appearance and character. CEO's representing powerful companies from a civilization that invented 99 per cent of the world's technologies, defined DNA, and put men on the Moon, should NOT subscribe to a hateful concoction of insane Frankfurter School witch doctors.
Diversity is, or should be, a state that is the result of an osmosis of the most competent ones in a company's 'fabric', NOT of a deliberate policy to meet minority quotas. The strength of companies (and by extension nations) should solely rely on merits. If a company or a society hires the most able applicants and it turns out the roster is overwhelmingly white, well, tough luck for Africans, Asians or Middle Easterners. They should go home and study hard to try again later. If that company turns out majority Black, so be it. If 90% is of Asian stock, ditto. It follows that diversity on the workfloor should be a condition, a state, that is uniquely the outcome of the competencies of the individuals vying for a job at that company. And if some groups are overrepresented, or if some would think that this or that group is underrepresented, then this must be accepted, and those who disagree should only resort on demonstrations of competency to alter the respective representation of their group.

The mid-nineties really saw a spate of damn good rock and rock varieties both in the UK and the USA. As for FOW, they formed in New York in 1995. The name reportedly comes from a lawn ornament biz, now defunct, in the township of Wayne, New Jersey.

Canadian indie rock band from Montreal.

The cupola with its six huge viewing ports offers stunning sights on our home planet. You can see a venerable Soyuz spacecraft docked to the ISS.
A Soyuz docks. A SpaceX Dragon berths. There's a difference, it's got something to do with the docking manoeuvre being solely between the Space Station and the visiting spaceship (in this case the Soyuz), while for berthing the spaceship, in this case the Dragon, is 'grabbed' by the Canadarm2, its movement dampened, and put ever so cautiously on the berthing port. Since this is a relatively simple design, not using shock absorbers and all kinds of automated locks like a docking port, a berthing port can be bigger, hence bigger items can be brought into the ISS.
Canadarm2 is the further development of Canadarm1 which was used on the Space Shuttle. Canadarm2 was deployed first on STS-100 in April 2001, and has a length of 17.6 m (58 ft) when it's fully extended. It's got seven motorized joints (an 'elbow hinge' in the middle, 3 rotary joints at each of the 'wrist/shoulder' ends). Weighing 1,800 kg (4,000 lb), it has a diameter of 35 cm (14 in), and it is capable of handling huge payloads of up to 116,000 kg (256,000 lb). Most marvellous of all, it is self-relocatable and can move end-over-end to reach many parts of the Space Station in an inchworm-like movement, as long as there are dedicated anchor points (PDGF's, Power Data Grapple Fixtures).

Why has the sovereignty for which Irish patriots sacrificed their lives been meekly surrendered to unelected foreign bureaucrats in Brussels especially when it was known that membership of the EU meant the destruction of the independent nation state of Ireland and the replacement of its culture and way of life with a so-call ‘multi-cultural society’?
The modern Irish are the antithesis of the previous generations who fought and died for Ireland. Overtly sensitive and wracked with political correctness they wouldn’t dream of picking up a rifle and fighting to regain their dignity and restore the independence of the Emerald Isle.
Men like James Connelly who was so badly wounded after the Easter Rising of 1916 he had to be strapped to a chair before he was put up against the wall of Kilmainham Gaol and shot.
Along with the thirteen other leaders of the uprising who were also executed, he would be rolling in his grave that the Ireland he sacrificed his life for is now a bankrupt third world backwater dictated to by foreign bureaucrats who could care less about Irish history or the wellbeing of the Irish people.
The archetypal Irishman is now represented by the drug addled Saint Bob Geldof who fled the Emerald Isle to live with the ancient enemy in England and his virtue signaling pal Bono whose incessant calls to open the borders to the hordes of economic migrants from Africa are as tedious as his records.
Hyphenation of nationalities is the means by which the global elite divide and rule communities and signal the end of the homogeneous nation state and its culture. It is also used to impress upon the subject people that they no longer exist as an exclusively indigenous entity in their own native land.
African-Irish is the phrase used to describe these rioting immigrants who are as much Irish as James Connolly is a Nigerian but nevertheless they are now recognized as bona fide Irish folk.
African-Irish join other such manufactured citizen groups as Pakistani-British and Somali-Americans etc. and by design this phony hyphenated system does not work in reverse for the simple reason that it’s only the Judeo-Christian countries from the developed world that are scheduled for ‘un-homogenising’.
This is the politically correct term for ethnic cleansing or cultural replacement preferred by the UN/EU elites as they construct their egalitarian, borderless one-world wet dream.
It is extremely unlikely one will read about white Irish-Africans rioting in Lagos or white British-Pakistanis rioting in Islamabad let alone white American-Somalis rioting in Mogadishu...."

SWEDEN WANTS TO ORGANIZE WOMEN-ONLY ROCK FESTIVAL.
Once again sorry for the light blogging, awful lot to do lately, business has been exceptionally tough this year. Yet here's a tidbit I wouldn't want to deny you. Via De Standaard, which is happy to report:
Silly talk like that from a Swedish brainless twat reminds me of an Ann Coulter anecdote with which she perfectly nailed the PC dogmas nixing ethnic/religious profiling in airports. It went a bit like this:
Officials scrutinizing studiously the robes of an eighty year old quadriplegic nun while not batting an eye when suspiciously behaving Somali twentysomethings breeze by, are a bit like the drunk who's looking for his car keys on his hands and knees in the light cone of a streetlamp. A passerby asks the drunk: "Did you lose your keys here?" whereupon the drunk replies "N...no... no. wazzn't... here. But o'er here... zhe light iz better... hips!..°*°°"....
Madam Emma Knyckare is that drunk. The problem isn't authochton Swedish men. The likes of Emma Knyckare sliced their balls off decades ago. The problem is 200,000 plus MUSLIM men which were allowed to invade the World's "Humanitarian Superpower". Yet Knyckare and Co refuse to face reality, refuse to differentiate between a born and bred male Swede and a "new" Swede from Mogadishu.
The problem is obvious to everyone possessing at least a 1-digit IQ. The perpetrators, the guys who are groping for female genitalia, are Middle Eastern or North African men. It's NOT Lars and it's NOT Dag and it's NOT Bjorn and it ain't Benny either, for that matter.
But the solution of a Swedish feminist is taking away THEIR music festival - after they took away their masculinity first.

I blame my own generation, Generation X. Very apt, in fact. "X". Not XY, not XX. Neither Real Women, nor Real Men. The Half-Generation, the adolescents who never grew up. The now fifty- and sixtysomethings who still go to rock concerts, feverishly clinging to a past that's forever gone. The unwise and foolish virgins, or non-virgins, who were prepared to wait forever until Mr Best Of Everything came along. The ball-less guys who grew so scared of women that they never got to the point to actually ask a broad out. Many of them still live in the same room in their parents' house where long ago they played with Matchbox cars and Lego.
