EASTER HOLIDAY IN SOUTH WEST ENGLAND.

 photo calais_ferry_zpsxsbxcdqo.jpg

- All over the last summer, autumn and winter I had read about the migrants making a terrible nuisance of themselves near the Eurotunnel entrance, so I figured that for our Easter holiday to the south of England this year round, it might be safer to take the ferry Calais-Dover instead. And since there's no backflow, I also reckoned that taking the Eurotunnel to get back to France would pose no problems. So the plan was, France to the UK: the P&O Ferry. UK back to France: Eurotunnel.

The photo shows us approaching Calais port with the ferry terminals. Notice the barbed wire to keep migrants from climbing over the fences and disrupting the traffic. At regular intervals there were police vans with officers on guard. Welcome to European holidays in 2016!

Except that we did not board a ferry to go to England after all.

At the check-in terminals, they told us the storm in the Channel was so bad, Dover Harbour was closed. Earliest departure was scheduled for three pm, which meant waiting for four hours and ruining our afternoon schedule. Eurotunnel apparently cooperating with P&O Ferries however, they offered us the possibility to trade in our ferry tickets for Le Shuttle tickets for the same price, if only we took the risk to not be able to board the train immediately.

We took our chances and to our surprise, fifteen minutes later - the Chunnel entrance is right to the west of Calais, as opposed to the ferry terminals which are right to the east - we were waved through to the Le Shuttle loading platforms right away.

Half an hour later we were in Folkestone!

 photo folkestone_beach_2016_zpsuhac63q1.jpg

There was a stiff breeze and rough water (for landlubbers) but imho no waves that warranted closing a harbour.

 photo jane-austens_huis_zpsyhtvbxp1.jpg

We had booked three nights at the Imperial Hotel in Torquay, and one night in the Shore View Hotel in Eastbourne. When we left Folkestone there remained an estimated five hours of driving to Torquay, and it was only 1pm local time or so, so I figured there was sufficient time to visit two places - even if it had to be in a hurry. Place No. 1 was the house in Chawton where Jane Austen had spent the final eight years of her life. Jane Austen (1775-1817) is a quintessential British Romanticism writer and a contemporary of literary giants like William Wordsworth, Samuel Coleridge and Lord Byron. She wrote but a small number of books, and by the time she settled in Chawton she had written two of her best known masterpieces in draft form already: Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice. Before publishing them, she may have revised them here. Completely new works written in Chawton were Mansfield Park, Emma and Persuasion. A bit to my surprise I also discovered, upon coming across several naval displays, that two of Jane Austen's brothers made it Admiral in the Royal Navy: Sir Francis Austen became Admiral of the fleet and Charles Austen reached the rank of Rear Admiral.

O'er here at DowneastBlog, we have touched on the subject before. In 2009, that is. Pride and Prejudice is perhaps Austen's best known work, a novel of manners first published in 1813 and destined to become on of the most successful novels in English literature, with over 20 million copies sold to date. There have been several film and TV adaptations, of which the 2005 version, directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet and Matthew McFadyen as Mr Darcy, is possibly the best so far. Here is what I wrote at the time, and this is the soundtrack exerpt 'The Living Sculptures at Pemberley':

 photo winchester_cathedral_zpsjnntmgjk.jpg

From Chawton it was but a short hop to Winchester, which boasts a magnificent gothic cathedral. What English gothic cathedrals lack in height compared to their continental counterparts they make up in length, and indeed Winchester Cathedral, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, has the longest nave and greatest overall length of any Gothic cathedral in Europe. Work began in 1079, and the consecration took place in 1093 already, but for centuries there would be alterations and additions.

 photo Interior_Winchester_Cathedral_zpsmhttvszj.jpg

View of the nave looking eastwards towards the choir. Under William of Wykeham (1367–1404) the nave, until then in Romanesque style, was recased in Caen stone and remodelled in the Perpendicular style, the third phase in English Gothic Architecture, with an emphasis on vertical lines...

 photo roof_winchester_cathedral_zpsbrgcthaj.jpg

... The ceiling is spectacularly embellished by those vertical lines converging into an intricate pattern: Winchester Cathedral's vault is a veritable poem in stone!

 photo torquay_zpsgornlosn.jpg

After that it was off to Torquay, focal point of the English Riviera. That's not exaggerated: temperatures are said to be the highest in the UK (although I would wager the Scilly Islands are still warmer) and there are palm trees galore. This town of around 65,000 was also home to Agatha Christie, and around the harbour there's a so-called Agatha Christie Mile, a walk with successive plaques and a bust highlighting specific events in her life and work.

 photo torquays_oldest_pub_zpsvzgoow9m.jpg

At night, I took strolls through Torquay. It was still March and somewhat chilly, but the town centre was not exactly deserted. One one of my walks I came across "Hole in the Wall", Torquay's oldest pub, established circa 1540. The text reads: "For hundreds of years Smugglers . Men of the Sea . Businessmen . Locals . Visitors alike have enjoyed drinking at the Hole in the Wall."

 photo Jurassic_coast_zps74xa83fb.jpg

On our second day, we visited Jurassic Coast, so called because there fossils dating from the Jurassic Epoch are supposedly omnipresent. Alas, for me the harvest was meagre... Pic taken in Charmouth, just east of Lyme Regis. Charmouth seems to be the place where you have the biggest chance to come up with decent fossils.

 photo golden_hind_zpsvufj6n5i.jpg

The day after, we intended to visit The Eden Project in Cornwall. History buff that I am - freak, rather - I could not resist stopping in nearby Brixham where I knew a replica of the Golden Hind was moored, Sir Francis Drake's flagship with which he circumnavigated the world between 1577 and 1580. He set sail with five ships and came back with only one. Originally it was called the Pelican, but while underway he rebaptised it in Golden Hind, to honor Sir Christopher Hatton, his patron, whose heraldic emblem contained a golden hind. It is hard to believe that Drake survived the perils of the world's oceans with this small galleon, which had a water displacement of a mere 100 tons!

 photo eden_project_zpsgl6p51ry.jpg

After a relatively smooth ride, apart from a huge traffic jam before and in Totnes, we arrived at The Eden Project, which is situated in a disused kaolinite quarry two kilometres from the town of Saint Blazy, just inside Cornwall. The Eden Project is the brainchild of a certain Tim Smit and consists mainly of two gigantic biomes in which vegetation typical for a Rainforest and the Mediterranean has been recreated. Indeed it is said that the largest of the two biomes contains the largest piece of Rainforest outside the Amazon! Apart from the biomes, there are substantial outdoor gardens including a walk back in time for Earth's vegetation, the "Core", a building for educational purposes, and a visitor centre.

 photo eden_project_inside_zpsyarb5y2s.jpg

What the Rainforest Biome looks like from the inside. The biomes' "shells" consist of a skeleton of tubular steel cladded with hexagongal (mostly) and pentagonal thermoplastic ETFE panels. ETFE stands for ethylene tetrafluoroethyle, a polymer. It was chosen because it maintains it's strength over a wide temperature range, is self-cleaning, and has a high melting temperature. Also, it's resistance to ultraviolet radiation means it will lose its transparency only after a very long time.

 photo Greenwayhouse1_zps2icwsmd2.jpg

On Thursday it was time to go back. The plan was to head back to Folkestone in two stages: Torquay-Eastbourne (you may recall we had booked one night there) and Eastbourne-Folkestone. WITH some serious sightseeing on the way of course. I calculated that we could make it to Eastbourne in the not too late evening AND visit both Greenway House and Stonehenge. Greenway House was the summertime residence of Agatha Christie. She once described it as "the loveliest place in the world" and on this glorious Spring morning it was hard to disagree!

 photo greenwayhouse2_zpsijb6nvsd.jpg

Greenway House, the magnificent summer residence of Agatha Chrisie and her second husband Max Mallowan, an archaeologist. They actually got to know each other in Iraq, where Mallowan was overseeing excavations.

 photo greenwayhouse_lawn_zps9hamkcd4.jpg

... This particularly sunny day made the splendid views on the river Dart and the surrounding hillsides all the more enjoyable...

 photo stonehenge_zpsxfimojjb.jpg

On heading back in the afternoon, we passed through Wiltshire, and of course we could not resist stopping at Stonehenge, some 13 kloms north of Salisbury. A lot had changed here since our last visit, which was during our honeymoon in 1999.

 photo stonehenge_detail_zpsbqfyhxhu.jpg

Most archaeologists agree that Stonehenge was built between 3000BC and 2000BC. Stonehenge is a wonderfully accurate cosmic clockwork. Sunset at the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, is perfectly aligned with the axis composed by the "horseshoe" of the five central trilithons, the heel stone at the periphery, and the embanked avenue leading up to the site from the northeast. Similarly, this same axis is also perfectly aligned with the rays of the rising sun at summer solstice, the longest day of the year. Construction-wise, transporting, carving and finally arranging the five trilithons of three sarsen stones each, each stone weighing some 50-odd tons, must be considered a major technical feat for the time. The outer ring sarsens originally crowned by lintels are hardly less impressive. And placing the smallest bluestones can't have been a laughing matter either. Still... Brits may not like to hear this, but upon walking around the site, it struck me that for all Stonehenge's evidence of technological and cosmological marvels, Egypt's Great Pyramids, built in the same timeframe, dwarf this ancient project by many orders of magnitude.

 photo beachy_head_zpsg7izmyea.jpg

I always try to cram as much as possible in a day, and in 2014 we had such a wonderful time in and around Eastbourne, so I thought that before heading for Down House we could just as well make a slight detour and once again take in the view at Beachy Head, just west of Eastbourne...

 photo berwick_church_spring2016_zpspzbkbnxd.jpg

... and while in the neighborhood, why not stop in Berwick to check out again the beautiful murals in Berwick Church, painted in, IIRC, 1943 by the artist pair Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, prominent members of the Bloomsbury Group. This pic from outside the church was taken on a spectacular early Spring morning; you may recall the same view from one year ago when we visited the place in the early evening.

 photo darwin_study_zpsmxbumufm.jpg

Then it was off to Downe and Down House, the home of Charles Darwin, just SE of London. He wrote On the Origin of Species in this very study!

 photo down_house_zpspkewoyeb.jpg

View on Down House from the garden. Behind my back is a path that leads to Darwin's greenhouses, where he also conducted experiments. Both the house and garden are kept in immaculate condition.

 photo backtobelgium_zpsqvrz14zz.jpg

After this thoroughly satisfying visit - including a simple but decent lunch in the house's cafeteria - it was time to go back. In the evening we boarded Le Shuttle again at the Coquelles terminal, near Folkestone. A smooth 25-minute ride brought us back in Calais. Yet another great holiday in the UK!

BERLIN: A FIFTH COLUMN OUT IN THE OPEN: TURKISH MASS DENIAL DEMO OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE.

The Bundestag, the German Parliament, is expected to pass a resolution very soon acknowledging that the massacre of the Armenians in the Ottoman Empire during World War I was a genocide.

Germany's turks are not pleased with that.

Via PI-News, Saturday 28 May, 2016:

 photo turkish_demo_berlin_2016_zpsqvahnz9j.jpg

"Under the leadership of Berlin's Turkish community over 500 organizations have gathered together [for the demo in Berlin - MFBB], a broad spectre, from the opposition party CHP over the German AKP branch to the right radical Grey Wolves [an oxymoron, these guys are as much "right radical" as my aunt R.], from islamist groups over DITIB mosques to secular Kemalists.

As fragmented as these groups with regards to other issues, in the protest against the Armenian Resolution they find each other: "Over 90 per cent of the Turkish population is rightfully denouncing the idea of the [allegation of] the genocide and judges it to be slander", says a letter, to be sent from the Turkish community to the (parliamentarian) fractions. If the Bundestag (parliament) would ratify the Armenian Genocide resolution this would be "poison for the peaceful coexistence between Germans and Turks in Germany itself, but also in Turkey".

The Armenian Genocide is a historical fact. Ottoman Turkey in 1915 massacred around 1,500,000 Armenians - and we are not even talking about what would happen to the Greek community seven years later. That today's Turks cannot come to terms with reality speaks bookmarks about the sheer and utter incompatibility of the vile islamic "culture" in advanced democratic societies.

Note also that the demo encompasses 500 (!) turkish organizations. If that isn't a fifth column, I don't know what is.

More on the demo in the following video. Notice also the demo's leader, Bekir Yilmaz, president of the Turkish community in Berlin.

Mr Yilmaz is also known for threatening that if demos don't work, they can also make themselves heard in other ways.

Mr Yilmaz is a member of the SPD, the Socialist Party, which may come as a surprise to you. Not.

PARISIAN EAGLES OF DEATH METAL CONCERTS ANNULLED BY CHEESE-EATING SURRENDER MONKEYS AFTER TAKIMAG INTERVIEW WITH FRONTMAN JESSE HUGHES.

Some exerpts from the by now famous interview of Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes by Gavin McInnis, over at Taki's Magazine. McInnis molded the interview in a column titled 'Surrendering to Death':

Eagles of Death Metal recently finished a Canadian tour and I got to sit down with vocalist Jesse Hughes and discuss the Bataclan attack in Paris that killed 89 of his fans. You’d think he’d want to avoid the topic, but he was actually eager to get into it. He sees it as a catharsis.

Hughes is not happy with the way the media has treated the story. Details are randomly pulled from his interviews and entire angles are edited in later that are diametrically opposed to his beliefs. Jesse Hughes has been ordained as a minister by the Universal Life Church. He’s pro-gun, pro-Trump, and pro-life. He recognizes that Islam is the problem and political correctness is literally killing us.

"
Takimag: It’s hard to talk about the attack without sounding like you’re blaming the victims, but it’s impossible to deny fear of Islamophobia and fear of guns led to a lot of deaths that night.

Jesse Hughes: I saw fear fall like a blanket on the whole crowd and they fell like wheat in the wind—the way you would before a god. I was totally alert from the very beginning. The first thing I needed to do was find my girl. Fear took a backseat and “where’s my girl?” took over. I could smell gunpowder in the backstage area and I knew someone fired a round back there. I saw a guy with an FAL and when he turned to face me his eyes looked like marbles. He was stoned out of his mind, and we now know they were on Xanax and cocaine. I recognized him. I’d seen him earlier in the day and noticed him staring at us.

 photo eaglesofdeathmetal_zpshtclzloq.jpg

They were in the venue early. That implies some staff were in on it.

I got in a lot of trouble for saying that. I know for sure that they were in there early. I remember them staring at my buddy. I just chalked it up to Arab envy. You know what I mean? When a Muslim sees a cocky American dude with tattoos, he stares at him. I realized later it was Abdeslam and he was staring at my buddy because they thought he was a threat. There’s no denying the terrorists were already inside, and they had to get in somehow. During the shooting I went outside and the backstage door was propped open. How did that happen?

Do you think political correctness is killing our natural instincts and making us vulnerable?

Definitely. There were two girls who were involved. They were at the venue and vanished before the shooting, and these women were in traditional Muslim garb. They knew people wouldn’t check them because of the way they were dressed. They got caught a few days later.

The fear of offending Muslims is a terrorist’s greatest weapon.

Look at the guys who bombed Brussels. They were wearing black gloves on one hand. Their luggage was too heavy to lift, but they didn’t want anyone helping them with it. Nobody brought any of this up until after the bombs went off.

We’d rather die than be called a bigot.

How is a faith being associated with racism? Just take out the word “Islam” and replace it with “communism.” It’s an ideology. The same way the Rosenbergs could sell nuclear secrets from within America is the same way Muslim terrorists can attack us from within. It’s okay to be discerning when it comes to Muslims in this day and age.

Where is this push coming from? Is it all our fault?

Of course not. When you’re at a soccer game in Europe and you see the words “United Arab Emirates,” you know there is a lot of Arab money floating around and influencing the dialogue. The conversation is constantly being steered away from scrutiny. They think we’re fools.

Arab money is a pollutant. So many movies are made with Arab money. George Clooney doesn’t kiss the ass of the Arabs for no reason. American movies are the best way to influence the hearts and minds of the world.

You never see bad guys in movies who are Arab terrorists. It’s always Germans or French…

Or conservative Christian rednecks. They’re apparently what’s wrong with everything in the world now, including global warming. What about the other ice age we went through? There were no Christian Republicans back then. What caused that meltdown?

The other problem with that is, when you get rid of these Christian rednecks, you create a vacuum and it gets filled with people way worse. It gets filled with Islam. You end up replacing evangelism with sharia law.

Politicians behave better when they know people are watching. We behave better when we believe Jesus is watching us.

These atheists tell us we don’t need religion, yet everyone seems to be creating flimsy substitutes to replace it. Rehab is just Lent. Meditation is just Latin Mass. Seeing a therapist is just talking to your priest.

And the thing about the Bible is it’s written down. A therapist can change his diagnosis just like that and there’s no way of calling him out on it.

Let’s get back to the attack. Why didn’t the cops come in earlier? It seemed like the killing went on forever.

The press heard some kids were locked away in rooms so they reported it as a hostage situation. Those kids were hiding. This misinformation meant the cops set up outside for a negotiation while inside dozens of people were dying.

The terrorists would go up to bodies and stick them with the gun. If they budged, they’d shoot them again. One girl got up and said she was scared. The guy said, “Don’t be scared, you’ll be dead in two minutes,” and then he shot her, BOOM.

The French are so concerned with racism, they’re letting Muslims get away with murder.

A day after, at the stadium, Muslims booed the moment of silence and we barely heard about it in the press. I saw Muslims celebrating in the street during the attack. I saw it with my own eyes. In real time! How did they know what was going on? There must have been coordination."

I’ve heard you say you credit your childhood with your survival. You had a real dad who stuck around and taught you about guns.

I knew what gunfire was. I was able to think through it. I was also able to remember practical lessons of my life because I had to be in fights as a kid. My mom didn’t go sue anyone. I didn’t have playdates. I had some practical upbringing growing up in the desert where you got to get yourself out of your problems.

Also, the reason I’ve done well with this healing process is everything I was raised to believe was affirmed that night. In a way, that’s a blessing of God. When the first bullets started being fired, people looked at me. I remember that. It pissed me off because I knew right then and there it was going to be bad. I knew these kids had no idea what was coming. None. They’d never heard a gunshot in real life and it hit them so hard.

Political correctness kills.

Davey [bassist Dave Catching] was in the middle of the stage and when the lights went on, he saw shit he’d never seen before in his life, awful stuff. It has no parallel. It’s not just death. It’s the most unsuspecting, innocent victims you can imagine—people who are gripped in terror and can’t move as a result of it.

It’s like a metaphor for all of Western civilization.

I watched about seven people die. A couple of them were three feet from the barrier. They could have fallen backwards and been alive but they were too scared to even turn around. I remember a woman just standing with her hands up in a surrender pose. The terrorist finally saw her and all she did was go, “No no no.” She surrendered to death in front of my very eyes. I was yelling at her, “HEY!” and I don’t think she could hear me. She was so terrified, I think she’d already given up.

Is it fair to say the liberal mentality created this need to surrender?

I will lay the blame right in its lap. When you tell people they can’t help themselves and that they’re children, you weaken them to a point where three feet away is life and they can’t see it because they’re too scared.

In a way we’re unarmed twofold. We’re literally unarmed and we’re also mentally unarmed.

It’s like the bleating sheep from Animal Farm. You suggest anything that strays from the narrative and this chorus of bleats comes to drown you out. This attack didn’t happen by accident.

I went to Paris after the attacks and was disgusted by the lack of rage. They didn’t blame Islam. In fact, many blamed the Jews. They seemed more concerned with us promoting xenophobia than laying blame on the terrorists.....

Read the rest here.

As you could expect from cheese-eating surrender monkeys, several Parisian music venues where Eagles of Death Metal was programmed have annulled the contracts with the band.

One of these is Rock en Seine.

You can send these fucking bastards a message here and tell them what you think. DON'T be nice. DON'T be polite. I certainly wasn't. Amoebas don't deserve to be talked to in a polite way.

RECOMMENDED READS: GIULIO MEOTTI'S "EUROPE: ALLAH TAKES OVER CHURCHES, SYNAGOGUES."

Over at The Gatestone Institute, Giulio Meotto writes about the horrific phenomenon of Europe's churches being either transformed in hotels or eateries or else in mosques.

"Last year, at the famous Biennale artistic festival in Venice, Swiss artist Christian Büchel took the ancient Catholic Church of Santa Maria della Misericordia and converted it into a mosque. The church had not been used for Christian worship for more than forty years. Büchel decorated the baroque walls with Arabic writing, covered the floor with a prayer rug, and hid the crucifix behind a prayer niche indicating the direction of Mecca, the holy city of Islam. It was a provocation.

But everywhere else in Europe, the practice of Islam really is outstripping Christianity, while Jews are leaving -- not only France but the old continent -- en masse.

In January, Zvi Ammar, the president of the Marseille Israelite Consistory, recommended that Jews that stop wearing a kippah (skullcap) when out in the street. Too many anti-Semitic incidents have cast fear into the hearts of Marseille's 70,000 Jews, who make up a tenth of the city's population. 500 Jews already left the city in 2015. A few days ago, Mr. Ammar announced another attempt at appeasement: the conversion of a historic synagogue into a mosque.

The synagogue Or Torah ["light of the Torah"] was bought by the Muslim organization Al Badr for 400,000 euros ($456,000). The synagogue was empty, due to rampant anti-Semitism in Marseille, while the nearby mosque, run by Al Badr, was unable to handle the overcrowding every Friday, with the faithful forced to pray in the street (a quarter of the inhabitants of Marseille are Muslim). Muslims in Marseille already have 73 mosques.

A year ago, the Muslim French leader Dalil Boubakeur suggested turning empty churches into mosques. It is the first time in France that something similar happened to a synagogue. "History teaches us that these transformations are rarely innocent," said Bertrand Dutheil de La Rochère, an assistant to Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Front party. He appeared to be comparing the fate of the synagogue to that of the Hagia Sophia Basilica, which became a mosque in Constantinople (now Istanbul) in 1453, after its capture by the Muslim Ottoman Turks.

The Hagia Sophia in Istanbul was the grandest cathedral in the Christian world, until it was captured and converted to a mosque by the Muslim Ottoman Turks in 1453. The Middle East is full of churches and synagogues turned into Islamic sites. Today, every traveler in a modern European city can notice the new mosques being built alongside abandoned and secularized churches, some converted into museums. (Image source: Antoine Taveneaux/Wikimedia Commons)
"What should we do?" Zvi Ammar asked this author.

"Security concerns had already pushed the Jews out of the city's center. We could no longer live in a Muslim area, so the synagogue was empty. Thousands of synagogues in the Arab-Islamic world, from Libya to Morocco, from Iraq to Tunisia, have been converted into mosques. The only difference is that in France, Muslims cannot expropriate a synagogue; they have to pay for it."

What a sad consolation.

Zvi Ammar, however, is right: not only is the Middle East full of synagogues turned into Islamic sites, but also of churches converted into mosques, such as the Umayyad in Damascus, the Ibn Tulun in Cairo and the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. In Hebron and on Jerusalem's Temple Mount, Muslim conquerors built their sites atop the Jewish ones.

A few years ago, Niall Ferguson, the brilliant contemporary historian, wrote about Europe's future as "the creeping Islamicization of a decadent Christendom." It is easy to find images of the decay of Europe's Christianity and the growth of Islam in the heart of the old continent. Every traveler in any modern European city can notice the new mosques being built alongside abandoned and secularized churches, some converted into museums.

The most crucial moment in Michel Houellebecq's novel, Submission, is when the novel's protagonist, a Sorbonne professor searching for a conversion experience, visits a Christian shrine, only to find himself unmoved. This is a reality in France.

In the French region of Vierzon, the Church of Saint-Eloi has become a mosque. The diocese of Bourges had put the church on sale, and a Muslim organization made a most generous offer to buy the site. In the Quai Malakoff, in Nantes, the old Church of Saint Christopher became the Mosque of Forqane.

In the Dutch province of Friesland, 250 of 720 existing churches have been transformed or closed. The Fatih Camii Mosque in Amsterdam once was the Saint Ignatius Church. A synagogue in The Hague was turned into the Al Aqsa Mosque. The Church of St. Jacobus, one of the oldest of the city of Utrecht, was recently converted into a luxury residence. A library just opened in a former Dominican church in Maastricht.

 photo SaintIgnatiuschurch_zpsirzvblb2.jpg

The main mosque in Dublin is a former Presbyterian church. In England, the St. Marks Cathedral is now called the New Peckam Mosque, while in Manchester, the Mosque of Disbury was once a Methodist church. In Clitheroe, Lancashire, the authorities granted permission to have an Anglican church, Saint Peter's Church in Cobridge, transformed into the Madina Mosque. It is no longer taboo in the media to talk about "the end of British Christianity."

Belgium, once a cradle of European Catholicism, is closing dozens of its churches. The Church of St. Catherine, built in 1874, dominates the historic center of Brussels, the only religious building created in the city's "pentagon" at the end of Ancien Régime, and today one of the most protected in the EU's capital, especially after the terror attacks there on March 22, 2016. Brussels, however, wanted to convert the church into a fruit market. Only the mobilization of the faithful hindered the city's plan.

Last month, The Economist explained what is happening in Belgium, once famous for the Madonna of Bruges, one of Michelangelo's most famous paintings: "If anything holds Belgium together through its third century of existence, Catholicism will not be the glue," the magazine wrote. That, it noted, will be Islam. In Brussels, half the children in state schools choose classes in Islam; practicing Catholics amount to 12%, while 19% are practicing Muslims.

According to La Libre newspaper, dozens of Belgian churches are in imminent danger of conversion to other uses. The Church of Saint-Hubert in Watermael-Boitsfort is expected to accommodate apartments, while the Church of the Holy Family of Schaerbeek awaits an investor. In Malonne, the chapel of Piroy has been transformed into a restaurant. In Namur, the Saint-Jacques Church was transformed into a clothing store and the Church of Notre Dame, built in 1749 and deconsecrated in 2004, is now a "cultural space." The square will be redeveloped, with ticketing services and catering. Dozens of exhibitions, concerts and fashion shows have already been held in the church. In Tournai, the Church of St. Margherita has been transformed into apartments.

Eight centuries after its founding, the Church of the Blessed Sacrament at Binche, a majestic building in the heart of a medieval town close to Brussels, was put on sale for the symbolic sum of one euro. In Mechelen, Flanders, in place of a famous church, a luxury hotel has arisen. Catholic arches, columns and windows still soar between menus and tables for customers.

Despite the fact that the "Pope Emeritus," Joseph Ratzinger, comes from Germany, that Chancellor Angela Merkel is the daughter of a Lutheran minister and the current German president, Joachim Gauck, is a Protestant pastor, Germany is literally selling its churches. Between 1990 and 2010, the German Evangelical Church closed 340 churches. Recently, in Hamburg, a Lutheran church was purchased by the Muslim community. In Spandau, the church of St. Raphael is now a grocery store. In Karl Marx's town, Trier, some churches have been turned into gyms. In Cologne, a church is now a luxurious residence with a private pool.

The writer Emile Cioran once cast a sinister prophecy on Europe: "The French will not wake up until Notre Dame becomes a mosque." Five years ago, a French historian, Dominique Venner, shot himself on the altar of Notre Dame, Paris's most famous Cathedral. This suicide, which the mainstream media dismissed as the gesture of a Catholic crank, was a terrible warning to Europe. But no one was paying attention."

Giulio Meotti, Cultural Editor for Il Foglio, is an Italian journalist and author.

Caveat: I discovered a few inconsistencies here, namely that the fate of the Saint Eloi Church in Vierzon is still unclear. It is however true that a muslim group tried, or tries, to buy it. Likewise, the el-Fourqane mosque in Nantes appears to be a new construction - but one that is actually far bigger than the Saint Christopher church (and financed, amongst others, by rich Qataris). The effect is the same - ever more accelerating islamization of our countries - while islam is just as quick finishing off the remains of Christianity in muslim lands.

Belgian State Secretary for Equal Opportunities Elke Sleurs (N-VA) and Justice Minister Koen Geens (CDV) are "working" on a law proposal that lets a man become a woman if he merely identifies as a woman and a woman become a man if she merely identifies as a man.

And NO, I am not kidding.

Via the ever adorable De Standaard, May 12, 2016:

 photo elke_sleurs_insane_zpssfjmyiew.jpg

"A man will be able to become a woman and a woman a man simply by going to the Civil Status service in his/her Town Hall and identify as a woman or man. An operation is no longer necessary. Getting "back" will become more difficult however. Both Justice Minister Koen Geens (CDV) as the State Secretary for Equal Opportunities, Elke Sleurs (NVA) announce the proposal of law.

Currently, the existing 2007 law allows a sex - or rather: gender - change, but he or she must undergo far-reaching medical surgery. Forced sterilization, removal of ovaries and womb, removal of testicles. "The law was good because it recognized transgenders but the medical implications were very serious and were also contrary to the European Treaty for Human Rights" says State Secretary for Equal Opportunities Elke Sleurs (N-VA)."

Meanwhile, muslims in Molenbeek and Schaarbeek and Ghent and Charleroi and Liège and etc etc etc where women are nothing but breeding hens, they are laughing their asses off.

I have written it here before many, many times: this is Outlaw Mike reporting from the biggest Open Air Lunatic Asylum in the Solar System.

ISLAM NET NORWAY SHOWS TRUE FACE.

Islam Net is a salafist Muslim organisation in Norway. It was founded by a certain Fahad Qureshi, an "engineer student", in 2008. It has local chapters in Oslo, Akershus, Tromsø, Bodø, and Trondheim. The following video dates from 2013 already - you don't want to know how many more inroads in Norwegian society it has made since then - including converting real Norwegians.

Polish subtitles because this was actually sent by my mother-in-law from Poland.

You have to ask yourself, what are apes like these doing in an advanced western society??? Shouldn't they rather go back to the Hindu Kush or the Sahara to fuck goats, slit each other's throats off, and eat shit?

No time to flesh it out, but it boils down to the entire audience confirming they do want sharia law in Norway, and the speaker basically challenges the Norwegian state along the lines of "Sure, you got it, we all want to throw gays from buildings and clitoridectomy and four wives for each (muslim) man and back to the stone age. Definitely. What are you gonna do about it? You can't send us back anymore".

The seeds for civil war in Europe have eagerly been sown by socialists and greens WITH full complicity of so-called center and center right parties. Eternal shame on those traitors.

RECOMMENDED VIDEO: INGRID CARLQVIST AND STEFAN MOLYNEUX ON "THE FALL OF SWEDEN".

Stefan Molyneux (1966) is an Irish-born Canadian blogger and self-described laissez-faire anarcho-capitalist and atheist. Formerly an IT'er, he is now a self-published author who distributes his views via podcast and Youtube. Taking into account his libertarian views, his cultural conservatism and his sane views on the deadly threat of islam and on illegal immigration, we can conclude that he's an okay sort of guy for the Conservative Cause.

Ingrid Carlqvist (1960) is a Swedish writer, editor and journalist who, together with Lars Hedegaard, runs the online newspaper Dispatch International. Carlqvist asserts that Dispatch International is islam-critical and that its purpose is to report on what MSM keeps deliberately silent about. She writes profusely about immigration and assimilation problems in Sweden, and her columns are regularly featured on The Gatestone Institute's site.

INSANE: SCOTLAND'S NEW MUSLIM MINISTER HUMZA YOUSAF, LINKED TO "GLORY TO ALLAH" LONDON BUS ADS, TAKES OATH BEFORE SCOTTISH PARLIAMANENT IN URDU.

Via Breitbart:

"Scotland’s Muslim Minister of Europe and International Development has been sworn into the new session of the Scottish Parliament, with the Pakistani-oricin Humza Yousaf choosing to take the oath to Her Majesty the Queen in his native language of Urdu.

Mr. Yousaf – who is on the hard left of his already strongly left-wing nationalist political party – recently commented that the majority of his party would like to see the abolition of the monarchy, and has previously been a spokesman for Islamic Relief, the charity behind the new “Glory to Allah” bus ads in London.

The swearing in ceremony took place on Thursday at Holyrood, the Scottish Parliament.

The Washington Post called his Urdu swearing in process as “an emphatic demonstration of British multiculturalism”, while Mr. Yousaf shot back at critics by stating that he took the oath in English first, and therefore there was no cause for concern.

Breitbart London has previously reported on the activities and beliefs of Mr. Yousaf, who has surged up the rankings to be one of the most influential left-wingers in the United Kingdom.

Previously, Mr. Yousaf has complained about receiving ‘Islamophobic’ tweets as a result of a Breitbart London article that simply reported his own wishes for Scotland. He is also known for his work in anti-Israel activism.

In September 2014, we wrote:

We know he studied politics in his hometown of Glasgow, and according to the Guardian he became involved in politics just after 9/11. He was firmly opposed to the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and was prolific in the Stop The War movement, helping to organise coaches from Glasgow Central Mosque to the two million strong rally against the war in Iraq.

But Yousaf was willing to go further than his contemporaries to get what he wanted. The Guardian reports he joined a human blockade of the Charing Cross exit of the M8 motorway. In 2012 he described his experiences: “We had our two hours, freezing our arses off. And that was it: I was hooked.”

Initially he was attracted to the Scottish National Party’s opposition to the War on Terror, but he also became interested in its socialist views. Like many in the party he sees leaving the United Kingdom as a good way to push a much more left-wing agenda in Scotland.

English voters are far more conservative than the Scottish and are perceived to be holding them back from creating a Scandinavian-style socialist state. He once said that: “You have to keep being radical with your ideas”. His age, looks and charisma have undoubtedly made it easier to entice the Scottish into his “radical” agenda.

Prior to his election to the Scottish Parliament in 2011, Yousaf had been a media spokesman for Islamic Relief, a charity that has been accused on a number of occasions of being a front group for radical Islamism. Yousaf was a volunteer for Islamic Relief since the age of 10."

So Scotland's brand new "Minister for Europe and International Development" was a volunteer, later even spokesman, for islamic relief since the age of 10. But even though he was their mouthpiece, we can all be sure he never had an idea he was actually supporting Hamas, right?

Hmmmm...

Via The Gatestone Institute:

 photo islamic_relief_zps6m7enqra.jpg

"Islamic Relief Worldwide [IRW] is the poster-child of an exemplary Islamic charity. Headquartered in the UK, and given tens of millions of dollars by Western governments, the United Nations and the European Union, IRW consists of a "family of fifteen aid agencies" which "aim to alleviate the suffering of the world's poorest people." New information, however, indicates that IRW -- which counts Islamic Relief UK and Islamic Relief USA as its most important branches -- is an extremist organization with a pro-terror agenda. IRW has worked with a significant number of organizations linked to terrorism.

IRW's accounts show that it has partnered with a number of organizations linked to terrorism and that some of charity's trustees are personally affiliated with extreme Islamist groups that have connections to terror.

In 2006, the Israeli Ministry for Foreign Affairs designated IRW itself a terrorist front, and claimed that:

"The IRW provides support and assistance to Hamas's infrastructure. The IRW's activities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip are carried out by social welfare organizations controlled and staffed by Hamas operatives. The intensive activities of these associations are designed to further Hamas's ideology among the Palestinian population."

In May of 2006, Israeli police arrested IRW's Gaza coordinator, Ayaz Ali. The Israeli government stated Ali had assisted Hamas-related institutions and groups such as Al Wafa and Al Tzalah, both of which are designated terror organizations in Israel. According to the Israeli government, Ali also said that he had cooperated with local Hamas operatives in Jordan:

"Incriminating files were found on Ali's computer, including documents that attested to the organization's ties with illegal Hamas funds abroad (in the UK and in Saudi Arabia) and in Nablus. Also found were photographs of swastikas superimposed on IDF symbols, of senior Nazi German officials, of Osama Bin Laden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, as well as many photographs of Hamas military activities … Ali admitted that he was aware that several of the organizations supported by the IRW in Judea, Samaria and Gaza were indeed identified with Hamas."

 photo humza_yousaf_zpsc7zia8g7.jpg

Once upon a time a fifth column was something that stayed in the dark. Now it's out in the open, plain for everyone to see.

OF COURSE you welcome refugees, muslim scoundrel. Because it will mean even more voting cattle to flush the kuffars out of Scottish institutions.

I have but one advice to UK and especially Scottish citizens - real ones, of course. Brits, Scots who care for their country, its values, and its heritage - and that advice is to boycott this muslim usurper at each and every occasion and to expose him and his terrorist supporting background wherever and whenever you can.

MUSLIM CANCER METASTIZES: FUNDRAISER FOR NEW AL HOUDA MOSQUE IN SINT-NIKLAAS, BELGIUM, IN NO TIME COLLECTS MORE THAN 1 MILLION EUR.

Leftist rag De Standaard is very happy to let the stupid Flemish peasants know that a fundraiser for the new al-Houda mosque in Sint-Niklaas, northern Belgium, has in no time amassed more than a million EUR.

 photo mosque_al_houda_zpsdf1ocuq7.jpg

"A fundraiser for a new mosque and community centre in Sint-Niklaas has amassed more than one million EUR, a record. The new building has to become twice as big as the previous one and aims, with its big windows, to emphasize an atmosphere of openness.

The plans for the new al-houda mosque in Sint-Niklaas have been in the pipeline for some time, but the required 2.5 million EUR were still lacking. Because there were no subsidies [for this particular project - MFBB], donations from the muslim community were called for.

The counter stood already on 1.8 million EUR, amongst others thanks to the six hundred families attending the mosque which contributed 2,000 EUR each to finance the new building. To bring up the rest a fundraiser was organised over the previous days by the nonprofit behind the mosque, the moroccan cultural and islamic centre. With a yield of more than one million EUR the nonprofit did better than expected..."

Fact 1 for you: In 2011, people of foreign extraction, of whom the overwhelming majority were muslims, especially from morocco, made up 21 per cent of Sint-Niklaas's 75,000 inhabitants.

Fact 2 for you: These 21 per cent received around 70 per cent of all welfare in Sint-Niklaas.

Fact No. 3 for you: since this picture is a blueprint for what happens all over the country, it is clear that Belgium's authochtons, dwindling in number and getting rapidly older, are literally financing their own destruction.

Below you see a Facebook message from a Sint-Niklaas muslim, presumably a member of the nonprofit behind the al-houda mosque:

 photo mosquesintniklaas_zpsvud5inkd.jpg

The message reads:

"Allahu akbar, this cake is made by a beautiful sister and has just been sold for 12,000 EUR.

May allah pbuh forgive all this sister's sins and give her the highest place in paradise inshallah!

Ameen"

The ardent zeal with which these usurpers manifestly express their religious feelings and are prepared to pay immense sums to erect the symbols of their conquest, should give serious cause for concern for every sane, freedom-loving Belgian.

Only a sheer and utter fool will believe that this latest building project for Flanders' biggest mosque to date is not another big FUCK YOU vis-à-vis all non-muslims. It is another step towards establishing the caliphate in this country.

Mark Steyn's mother is Belgian and from Sint-Niklaas. I wonder how the greatest present-day champion for Western Civilization and the Conservative Cause will take in the news that his mother's hometown is slowly turning into another Molenbeek.

RECOMMENDED READS: UZAY BULUT'S "TURKEY? IN THE EU?"

Some crucial insight on Erdogan's neo-Ottoman ambitions from an insider, Uzay Bulut, writing for The Gatestone Institute:

"TURKEY? IN THE EU?

On April 25, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek, while speaking at the High-Level EU-Turkey Economic Dialogue meeting in Istanbul, said that the full membership process to the European Union was Turkey's most crucial strategic target.

Simsek noted that Turkey will increase the quality of its institutions, strengthen the rule of law and complete the approximation process with Europe by running a reform process.

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, however, has made affectionate statements expressing his admiration not for the European Union, but for the last Islamic caliphate -- the Ottoman Empire, an expansionist Islamic realm that committed massacres, rapes, and sexual slavery of people in the lands it invaded.

In Istanbul on May 30, 2015, in a public meeting celebrating the 562nd anniversary of the fall of Constantinople, Erdogan, sounded more like an Ottoman sultan than the leader of a NATO member nation.

He praised "hoisting the flag of Islam in Jerusalem again" and "stamping the seal of Islam on Al-Aqsa Mosque." According to some media outlets, two million people attended the event and cheered him.

"What is the conquest?" Erdogan asked his audience.

"The conquest is Hijrah [expansion of Islam through emigration, following the example of Muhammad, the founder of Islam, and his followers from Mecca to Medina]. The conquest is Mecca. It is to cleanse the Kaaba, the house of Allah on earth, of all the icons. The conquest is Jerusalem. It is when the prophet Omar stamped the seal of Islam on Al-Aqsa Mosque, our first Qibla [the direction to face when a Muslim prays during the five times daily prayers] while respecting all faiths including [those of] Christians and Jews.

"The conquest is Al-Andalus [Muslim Spain]. It is to build the most beautiful architecture, literature and culture of the world such as in Córdoba and Granada.

"The conquest is Samarkand [a city in present-day Uzbekistan and once a capital of the ancient Sogdian civilization whose main religion was Zoroastrianism.]

"The conquest is Bukhara [also in present-day Uzbekistan. It was a diverse city with Zoroastrian, Buddhist, Jewish and Nestorian Christian communities]. It is to establish one of the greatest civilizations of history in the steppes of Central Asia.

"The conquest is Salah al-Din al-Ayubbi [Saladin, who in 1187 invaded Jerusalem]. It is to hoist the flag of Islam in Jerusalem again.

"The conquest is Alp Arslan [the second Sultan of the medieval Muslim Seljuk Empire, who conquered Anatolia]."

"The conquest is to open the doors of Anatolia up to Vienna for this blessed nation. The conquest is Osman Ghazi [the first Ottoman Sultan]. It is to make the sycamore [the Ottoman Empire] meet with the ground that would cover three continents and seven climates through the enlightenment inspired by Sheikh Edebali who said, 'Make the human live so that the state can live'.

"The conquest is preparation. The conquest is when the Sultan Murad II abdicated the throne to his 12-year-old son, Mehmed II. And of course, the conquest is the Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. It is, at age 21, to embrace Istanbul, the most favorite city of the world, after destroying the millennial Byzantium.

"Mehmed the Conqueror conquered Istanbul in 1453. But the conquests always continued before and after that. They continued with Sultan Selim I the Grim, Sultan Suleiman the Lawgiver, Sultan Murad IV, and Sultan Abdul Hamid II.

"The conquest is to have the courage, tenacity and sagacity to defy the entire world even at the hardest times.

"The conquest is 1994 [when Erdogan was elected mayor of Istanbul]. It is to serve Istanbul and the legacy of the Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. The conquest is to make Turkey stand up on its feet again."

The crowd shouted, "Here is the army, here is the commander."

 photo erdogan-goatfucker_zpsbeti7na7.jpg

On April 14, the European Parliament sent a stern warning to Turkey, accusing the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) government of "backsliding" on democracy and the rule of law.

Kati Piri, rapporteur for Turkey at the European Parliament, said the regression in areas such as freedom of expression and the independence of the judiciary was "particularly worrying."

Ankara rejected the report, which cited references that the mass killings of Armenians under the Ottoman Empire constituted genocide, Turkish EU Affairs Minister Volkan Bozkir said.

"We will consider this report as null and void," Bozkir was quoted as saying by the state-run Anadolu Agency. "There is no moment in our history that we feel ashamed of. All of our archives are open. We believe this is an issue that should be decided by historians. Politicians should not write history."

On April 19, 2016 Erdogan's response to the EU report, according to the pro-government newspaper Yeni Akit, was loud and clear:

"The EU needs Turkey.

"That they presented such a report to us at a time when our relations with the European Union are going positively in many fields, such as immigrants, opening some chapters and visa liberalization, is simply a provocative approach, a provocative act. I guess Europeans will see that.

"They have not been able to see that since 1963. But I do not know what will happen from now on. The EU needs Turkey more than Turkey needs the EU. Let everyone know it like that. There is no need to go to further places to understand that. It is enough to look at the latest developments.

"The report has a crippled perspective on the issues of Cyprus and the Aegean Sea, the independence of judiciary, and the freedom of expression, press and assembly. These people [EU officials] do what their nature (disposition) requires them to. [In the report], there is also the part about the 1915 events which is utterly farcical."

Erdogan glorifies the Ottoman armies that reached the gates of Vienna, talks about the "good old times" when the Islamic flag was hoisted in Jerusalem, and aggrandizes Ottoman Sultans who were also caliphs.

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan recently made affectionate statements expressing admiration not for the European Union, but for the last Islamic caliphate -- the Ottoman Empire, an expansionist Islamic realm that committed massacres, rapes, and sexual slavery of people in the lands it invaded. The question is when the EU will start acting like a self-respecting institution, and consider Turkey according to what it actually says and does?

Unfortunately the Turkish public's opinion of the EU is not that different from the Turkish government's. According to a 2014 PEW poll, around two-thirds of the Turks (66 %) expressed unfavorable views of the European Union. Turkish distaste for the West was not only about the EU. Nearly three-quarters (73%) also shared a dislike of their NATO ally, the U.S. In addition, 70% of the people of Turkey dislike NATO.

The question is when the EU will stop playing ostrich and start acting like a self-respecting institution. And when will the EU authorities take Turkey not according to their own wishful thinking, but according to what Turkey actually says and does?"

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED VIDEO: VLAAMS BELANG CONGRESS "SUBMIT OR HIT BACK".

Many thanks to our dear friends at Gates of Vienna, who are doing the job I am supposed to do. A video with exerpts from key speakers, among them Tom Van Grieken, the new, young Party Chairman, Barbara Pas, and old acquaintances like Filip Dewinter and Anke Vandermeersch. About ten days ago, a Congress was held in Antwerp with the theme: "ISLAMIC TERROR: SUMBMIT OR HIT BACK".

I think that after watching this video, you will agree with me that VLAAMS BELANG chooses squarely for the latter option:

Here's the transcript:

"00:00 A fist against Islamic terror.
00:03 A fist of anger, because we will not stand for this terror, and we will hit back.
00:11 I have had enough of this; that just a few weeks after the terror attack
00:18 the political elite in this country are more worried about Muslims’ feelings
00:23 than for the victims and their relatives.
00:26 They haven’t even cleaned up before they are looking for reasons
00:30 for why we are at fault. Never is the guilt assigned to
00:34 The religion of conquest. No, again it takes upon itself the role of victim, supported by “gutmenschen”,
00:39 who in this manner first and foremost try to wins souls and votes.
00:44 Already Europe has endured a long list of bloody Islamic terror attacks;
00:49 Madrid 2004. Four bombs on a train, 192 dead, almost 2000 injured.
00:59 London 2005. Four bombs on busses and the metro. 52 dead and over 700 injured.
01:08 Paris 2015. Six bombs, 130 dead and over 350 injured.
01:18 Brussels. 32 dead and over 340 injured.
01:23 And the list of murders is also long, such as the murder of Theo van Gogh in Amsterdam.
01:29 The murder of a rabbi and three school children in a Jewish school in Toulouse.
01:35 The murder of the 25-year old soldier Lee Rigby in London.
01:40 The murder of four visitors to the Jewish museum in Brussels.
01:45 The murder of 12 people at Charlie Hebdo publishers in Paris.
01:51 The list is slowly but surely becoming endless.
01:55 Our society is today paying an almost unbearable price
02:00 for the historic mistake of letting tens of thousands guest workers grow into the hundreds of thousands.
02:07 and in Europe several million new migrants,
02:12 either outright illegal, or would-be asylum seekers.
02:17 The 22nd of March, dear friends, the 22nd of March,
02:23 Hundreds of people hurt, 32 people murdered.
02:30 And it wasn’t global warming or a lack of possibilities on the job market that killed them.
02:35 Neither was it the so called “racism” in our society, nor was it pollution,
02:39 …but Muslim terror that killed them.
02:43 A strong justice system would have been able to prevent this.
02:47 A strong immigration policy would have been able to prevent this.
02:51 A well-equipped intelligence agency could have prevented this.
02:55 But first and foremost our politicians had the damned responsibility to prevent this.
03:00 Dear friends, there will be no “European Islam”. The only thing we will get is an Islamized Europe.
03:08 Europe does not change the Muslims. The Muslims are changing Europe, and fast.
03:14 In other words, dear friends, Islam…
03:20 In other words, dear friends, Islam is not a part of the solution, Islam is the essence of the problem.
03:30
03:33 That beaten and raped women in Islamic culture are always seen
03:37 as the guilty party instead of the victims
03:41 is the sickening result of the perverse sexual morality of the Muslim man.
03:46 History teaches us that the degree of a Islamization in a society
03:53 is directly reflected in the degree of how much Muslim women have to cover their bodies.
03:59 The more Islam, the more textiles worn by women, and the less freedom they have.
04:06 The advance of Islam means in practice social, economic and cultural regression.
04:14 Poverty, lack of learning, social exclusion, discrimination and lack of opportunity
04:20 are not the reason for Islam. They are the result of Islam.
04:27
04:32 And when history repeats itself, when the asses who are leading us,
04:38 deaf and blind to public opinion, as if they are covering their eyes and ears,
04:47 repeat the same actions with an insane “Wir schaffen das” policy,
04:53 when they want to admit Islamic Turkey to the EU, then we call for resistance.
04:58 We will tell you what is going on, regardless of what people think about us
05:02 and regardless of political correctness.
05:06 And the more we are ignored, the more we are undermined and demonized,
05:10 the more driven we become, and we are proud of it, by the way.
05:16 Together with the Austrian FPÖ, together with the Italian Lega Nord,
05:21 Marine Le Pen’s Front National and Geert Wilders’ PVV,
05:25 we will mobilize public opinion. And to the people of foreign background already here in Flanders,
05:30 and who want to be Flemish together with the Flemish, we still reach out our hand,
05:36 but for the others, the people who hate us, we have entirely different plans.
05:42 If there is something called integration, then there must also be something called “outegration”.
05:48 The slogan Kemal Ataturk in his time left as a testament to his people was:
05:54 “Turkey for the Turks”. Of course, but then also “Flanders for the Flemish” and “Europe for the Europeans”.
06:06 I am tired of this. I am more than tired, dead tired, and I think you are, too.
06:12 We must fight back and resist. It is the only thing we CAN do.
06:15 As peaceful but battle-ready citizens we have a duty to make our European civilization —
06:21 which we inherited from our parents and forefathers — safe for our children and grandchildren.
06:28 It is our duty to protect our identity, our sovereignty and our freedom.
06:32 It is our damned duty to make it clear to those who threaten our achievements
06:38 that we will not tolerate it. I can promise you, ladies and gentlemen,
06:42 that we, Vlaams Belang, will work on this.
06:47 More than ever before. With even more passion and even more fervor,
06:53 we will keep fighting for our identity, our traditions and our way of life.
06:57 I am also counting on you. It will not be a bed of roses, but one thing I know with certainty:
07:04 As long as there is a Vlaams Belang on the field, the battle is not lost.
07:10 Today we stand here with the choice of either painfully going down, or fighting back.
07:15 Vlaams Belang clearly chooses the latter option.
07:19 We will no longer submit to Islamic terror, but will now hit back with force! …Thank you!"

I am so GODDAM PROUD to be a part of this movement, to be a member of this party. Vlaams Belang embodies the quintessential strength, innovation, passion and pride of my people, the Flemish. After seeing this video, you have gotten a glimpse of the fierce, indomitbale spirit which made Flanders "the cockpit of Europe" in medieval and far into modern times. That spirit is still there, and Vlaams Belang is its herald.

LONDON'S NEW MAYOR SADIQ KHAN'S UNHEALTHY TIES TO MUSLIM EXTREMISTS.

Over here as in the UK the MSM are swooning over London's first ever muslim mayor, Sadiq Khan. What we get are the feelgood stories about his humble past (son of a busdriver and all).

What we do not get is Paul Weston's revelations. Via our buddies at Gates of Vienna:

The Innocence of Sadiq Khan
by Paul Weston

"When the prevailing ethos of a country’s political and media class is one of insanity and/or national suicide, no one should be too surprised when what was once thought unthinkable becomes a sudden and shocking reality. A good example of this is the crowning of Sadiq Khan as Mayor of London, which could be compared in terms of lunacy to the appointment of Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn as Chairman of the Friends of Israel Society.

Sadiq KhanI don’t necessarily think the smoothly urbane and thoroughly slippery Sadiq Khan is a potential leader of armed Islamic insurrection in London, but nor do I believe he is the benign and unthreatening sort of awfully-nice-Muslim-next-door-chappy that the BBC et. Al. would like us to believe. After all, if judged by the company Sadiq Khan has kept, he would appear to be yet another one of those Muslim politicians who say one thing to their Eloi English audience and quite another to their own community when well out of infidel earshot.

Consider the following: Mr Khan’s brother-in-law, Makbool Javaid, was a supporter of the terrorist organisation Al-Muhajiroun which became notorious for its September 2002 conference “The Magnificent 19” praising the September 11, 2001 attacks. Mr Javaid appeared alongside some of the country’s most infamous hate preachers, and in 1998 his name appeared on a fatwa calling for a “full-scale war of jihad” against Britain and the US.

Mr Khan’s brother-in-law went on to become head of Litigation Services at the Commission for Racial Equality… the further one looks down the multicultural rabbit hole of Britain, the more surreal the whole thing becomes. Mr Javaid is currently a partner at legal firm Simons Muirhead and Burton and lists amongst his Facebook friends CAGE director Moazzam Begg and fellow director Asim Qureshi, who described the Islamic State butcher Jihadi John as a “beautiful young man”. Sadiq Khan is intimately connected with all of these people, which is not something that could be said of Boris Johnson, London’s previous and altogether different type of Mayor.

Modern Multicultural Britain

Sadiq Khan was on the board of the “civil liberties” pressure group Liberty (NCCL) for three years, along with a certain Mr Azad Ali, who has excused the murder of British soldiers and was involved with the extremist organisations Islamic Forum of Europe and Jamaat e Islami. Azad Ali is currently Head of Community Development & Engagement at the organisation MEND which seeks to undermine the British government’s counter-terrorism strategy. And speaking of going down surreal rabbit holes, Azad Ali is an adviser to the police and Home Office on police procedure, a member of the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and sits on the Home Office’s Trust and Confidence Community Panel… and last but not least is a board member of the extremist boot-boy outfit Unite Against Fascism, which is also supported by the British Prime Minister David Cameron…

The Mayor of London has peculiar friends, it must be said, but who could possibly know just how many? Sadiq Khan has represented the Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan, who — just in case people have forgotten — called for the mass murder and destruction of the white race. In addition, Khan has defended the Taliban supporter Babar Ahmad, the Saudi Arabian “charity worker” Shaker Aamer and the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Yusuf al Qaradawi, who called the murder of Israeli civilians a legitimate act. Strange bedfellows all, it really has to be said.

Sadiq Khan explains all this away as part and parcel of life within the civil rights world, but all those he defends seem to have a particular set of political ideals and a particular religious/racial background. I have searched for details with regard to the Mayor of London ever having defended the human rights of Sgt Blackman (Marine A) or Tommy Robinson, but my searches have sadly come to nought. Sadiq Khan has no time for patriotic Englishmen, it would seem, which is somewhat unfortunate for the non-Muslim population of London…

Mr Khan’s speechwriter Shueb Salar has finally been sacked for all sorts of vile outbursts on Twitter concerning homosexuality and women (faggots and ho’s as described by Mr Salar) and other such bugbears of Islamic prejudice — which included the suggestion that Fusilier Lee Rigby’s murder had been faked. But Sadiq Khan only got round to sacking him after the media shamed him into doing so. Considering London has more than its fair share of “faggots and hoes’ in Islamic eyes, one can only wonder how the new Mayor will treat them…

The Mayor of London has so many links to so many unpleasant people and organisations, it becomes incredibly boring transcribing them in their entirety. I suggest people read this one article which covers Sadiq Khan’s alliance with the extremist Islamic student organisation FOSIS, his praise for the Islam Channel despite its being constantly fined for promoting radicalisation, and his apparent inability to recognise the black flag of Islam as a terrorist symbol after it was waved by an audience member during a Sadiq Khan speech.

 photo sadiq_khan_ties_extremists_zps4t9bmdt4.jpg

In 2004 Sadiq Khan was Chairman of the Muslim Council of Britain’s (MCB) legal affairs committee. Those in the know were already talking about the MCB as a front for the Muslim Brotherhood, but it took another five-years before the Labour government finally got around to recognising it as such and dropping it like a hot potato.

Shariah for the UK

There is far more out there about Khan’s strange past if you are prepared to search for it, but I think we can reasonably concur that whilst he may not actually be a supporter of Islamic terror, he is most certainly not the sort of man who should be Mayor of London. The fact that he took his oath on the Koran when he was first elected as an MP tells us all we need to know about his true allegiance, as does his attitude toward moderate Muslims, whom he described on Iran’s Press TV channel as Uncle Toms.

And so the previously unthinkable has become the present reality. A Muslim man with way too many extremist links to be entirely coincidental is now the Mayor of London. I suppose this is hardly a shock, though. The native English are a demographic minority (and a rapidly dwindling one) in London, whilst Muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh are a rapidly expanding demographic.

In a couple more decades Britain may well have its first Muslim Prime Minister, and I think we can safely assume he will be of the same ideological stock as Sadiq Khan. Reality cannot argue with demographics, so the realistic future for Britain is Islamic, which doesn’t bode well for the Jews and Christians, or indeed anyone not actually Muslim. They might wake up in time, but I rather doubt it.

Why do I rather doubt it? David Cameron was denounced as a racist by white native Britons for raising concerns about Sadiq Khan’s past, and I will leave you with a taste of our probable future courtesy of Andrew Boff, Conservative leader of the Greater London Assembly, who stated that criticism of Mr Khan’s myriad links with extremists was:

“Effectively saying that people of conservative religious views are not to be trusted and you should not share a platform with them. That’s outrageous… I do believe it’s going to affect Conservatives at the sharp end, especially in those parts of London where there is a high Muslim population.”

Do you understand what he means by this? I do. He is saying the Conservative Party is aware of the growing power of Islam in Britain, and that rather than confront the extreme elements of it, politicians should instead get on their knees before it.

And until there is a revolution (or more accurately a counter-revolution) in Britain, that is exactly what will happen. We will continue to submit, even as we watch France, Germany, Holland, Sweden and ALL the ex-Communist Central European countries currently rising up in a concerted and organised political manner against Islam.

In order to fully lose your country, you first have to lose your capital city. Sadiq Khan, a Muslim with countless extremist links, won 44% of the vote. UKIP won a mere 4%. We have now lost London in religious, racial, political and cultural terms, so it is up to us as to whether we go on to lose our country. What are you going to do about it?

In point of fact, what is Nigel Farage and UKIP going to do about it? Write a letter to The Daily Telegraph?

Even better, how about writing a letter to the new Mayor of London?"

Paul Weston is a British-based writer who focuses on the damage done to Western Civilisation by the hard left’s ongoing cultural revolution, which seeks to destroy the Christian, capitalist and racial base of the West. He is now one of the leaders of PEGIDA UK, and is also the leader of Liberty GB.

Londoners, you broke it. You own it.

SATURDAY NIGHT BUFFALO TOM, CARLY SIMON.

Buffalo Tom with Taillights Fade. From the 1992 album Let me come over.

No hit in the States apparently, but they did play it regularly on Studio Brussel in the early nineties. Buffalo Tom celebrates 30 years this year: they formed in 1986 in Boston, MA. The name is derived from sixties band Buffalo Springfield and the first name of the drummer, Tom Maginnis.

Carly Simon with the beautiful ballad It's hard to be tender (1989). It's the title song of the television series Sins.

Singer/songwriter from NYC. She's a daughter of Richard Simon, one of the founders of the publishing house Simon and Schuster.

A GLIMPSE OF BRITAIN'S FUTURE: MUSLIM SCHOOLCHILDREN MARCHING THROUGH BOLTON, UK, YELLING "ALLAHU AKBAR".

Watch a muslim class walking through Bolton, UK, yelling "Allahu Akbar":

Future murderers, beheaders, and breeding chickens for jihad. Courtesy Liblabcon, but Labour especially, of course.

And while we get here a glimpse of Britain's unhealthy future, we get another stark reminder of the intrusions of this vile "religion" in UK politics with the victory of Sadiq Khan in the contest to become Mayor of London. Below you see a photo of him holding a placard with one of his stated goals - importing even more electoral cattle:

 photo sadiq_khan_zps0nss3ltt.jpg

Khan likes to profile himself as a "moderate" muslim and he has reportedly even backed gay marriage.

But as this Daily Mail article proves, there's a lot to worry about in his curriculum:

"The politician has apparently made nine appearances alongside Sulaiman Ghani, a radical cleric who said was a supporter of ISIS and believes homosexuality is 'unnatural'.

MailOnline also revealed this year that in 2009 he supported groups promoting Islamic extremism and gave a speech while the 'black flag of jihad' was openly flying in the hands of children.

...

But Mr Khan's former brother-in-law, Makbool Javaid, preached hatred against non-Muslims at a rally in Trafalgar Square – with the 'black flag of jihad' flying behind him.

And he suspended his Commons-based speechwriter after he laughed about seeing homosexuals being abused in public, and made reference to 'hoes' and 'f***ing f****ts' – on a Twitter feed followed by the Labour mayoral hopeful.

Shueb Salar, who has represented Mr Khan at public events, continued to post them after he started working for Mr Khan in the run-up to last year's General Election.

Among the messages Mr Salar posted on Twitter was 'advice to anyone who's looking to murder their girlfriend and get away with it LOL'."

London is 40 per cent foreigners (and 40 per cent of the country's muslims live in London). It is clear that Khan was elected not so much because of administrative qualifications, but because he was both non-white and a muslim.

The election of Sadiq Khan can be seen as the definitive start of the 'Go after Whitey' campaign. A mere twenty years from now - if that long - increasingly, whites will be treated in their own cities and countries as second rank citizens.

Winston Churchill is turning in his grave.

MUSTANG "SCAT VII" OF LEGENDARY TRIPLE ACE ROBIN OLDS FLYING FROM DEURNE AIRPORT, ANTWERP.

I don't know how they did it but a small band of Belgian aviation enthusiasts, who organized themselves in the non-profit The Vintage Dream Factory, was able to acquire the Scat VII, a P-51 Mustang flown by legendary triple ace Colonel Robin Olds. They rebuilt the famous fighter as a two-seater and are now offering paid flights from Deurne Airport, near Antwerp.

At the start of the non-profits' operations, Col. Olds' daughter, Christina Olds, was present:

And a BIG thumbs-up for our Air Force which, in a time of severe budget cuts, was willing to honor Col. Olds and his famous mount by providing a wingman in an F-16!

I have always tremendously appreciated and liked the P-51's manifold qualities, be it it's prowess as an air supremacy fighter, it's amazing radius of action, it's impressive armament, and it's sleek design. I understand there's to this day heated arguments as to which was the best WWII figher, and on the American side there's apparently still a contest going on between the P-51 and the P-47, with adamant supporters - and good arguments - for both. As for me - I'm definitely a Mustang guy.

More info later. Hopefully time will allow me to provide some background on Colonel Olds too, a legend in his own right. Time time time... always lacking time.

RECOMMENDED READS: GIULIO MEOTTI'S "THE GREAT WESTERN RETREAT".

Over at The Gatestone Institute, a brilliant article by Giulio Meotti, "The Great Western Retreat".

"... On March 11, 2004, 192 people were killed and 1,400 wounded in a series of terrorist attacks in Madrid. Three days later, Spain's Socialist leader, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, was elected prime minister. Just 24 hours after being sworn in, Zapatero ordered Spanish troops to leave Iraq "as soon as possible."

The directive was a monumental political victory for extremist Islam. Since then, Europe's boots on the ground have not been dispatched outside Europe to fight jihadism; instead, they have been deployed inside the European countries to protect monuments and civilians.

"Opération Sentinelle" is the first new large-scale military operation within France. The army is now protecting synagogues, art galleries, schools, newspapers, public offices and underground stations. Of all French soldiers currently engaged in military operations, half of them are deployed inside France. And half of those are assigned to protect 717 Jewish schools. Meanwhile, French paralysis before ISIS is immortalized by the image of police running away from the office of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo during the massacre there.

You can find the same figure in Italy: 11,000 Italian soldiers are currently engaged in military operations and more than half of them are used in operation "Safe Streets," which, as its name reveals, keeps Italy's cities safe. Italy's army is also busy providing aid to migrants crossing the Mediterranean.

In 2003, Italy was one of the very few countries, along with Spain and Britain, which stood with the United States in its noble war in Iraq -- a war that was successful until the infamous US pull-out on December 18, 2011.

Today, Italy, like Spain, runs away from its responsibility in the war against the Islamic State. Italy's Defense Minister Roberta Pinotti ruled out the idea of Italy taking part in action against ISIS, after EU defense ministers unanimously backed a French request for help.

Italy's soldiers, stationed in front of my newspaper's office in Rome, provide a semblance of security, but the fact that half of Italy's soldiers are engaged in domestic security, and not in offensive military strikes, should give us pause. These numbers shed a light not only on Europe's internal terror frontlines, from the French banlieues to "Londonistan." These numbers also shed light on the great Western retreat.

US President Barack Obama has boasted that as part of his legacy, he has withdrawn American military forces from the Middle East. His shameful departure from Iraq has been the main reason that the Islamic State rose to power -- and the reason Obama postponed a military withdrawal from Afghanistan. This US retreat can only be compared to the fall of Saigon, with the picture of a helicopter evacuating the U.S. embassy.

In Europe, armies are no longer even ready for war. The German army is now useless, and Germany spends only 1.2% of GDP on defense. The German army today has the lowest number of staff at any time in its history.

In 2012, Germany's highest court, breaking a 67-year-old taboo against using the military within Germany's borders, allowed the military to be deployed in domestic operations. The post-Hitler nation's fear that the army could develop again into a state-within-a-state that might impede democracy has paralyzed Europe's largest and wealthiest country. Last January, it was revealed that German air force reconnaissance jets cannot even fly at night.

Many European states slumber in the same condition as Belgium, with its failed security apparatus. A senior U.S. intelligence officer even recently likened the Belgian security forces to "children." And Sweden's commander-in-chief, Sverker Göranson, said his country could only fend off an invasion for a maximum of one week.

During the past ten years, the United Kingdom has also increasingly been seen by its allies -- both in the US and in Europe -- as a power in retreat, focusing only on its domestic agenda. The British have become increasingly insular - a littler England.

The UK's armed forces have been downsized; the army alone is expected to shrink from 102,000 soldiers in 2010 to 82,000 by 2020 - its smallest size since the Napoleonic wars. The former head of the Royal Navy, Admiral Nigel Essenigh, has spoken of "uncomfortable similarities" between the UK's defenses now and those in the early 1930s, during the rise of Nazi Germany.

Brussels last Sunday, May 1, 2016, not far from the Brouckère Square. We ... had wanted to visit the Royal Greenhouses at Laeken, but at the entrance they turned us down because it was 3.10pm already and there were too many people waiting there to get in. Normally that in itself is not a problem, only this year, the guard at the entrance said, the rate at which they could let people through was much slower because everybody had to be checked - courtesy the muslim terrorist threat. So we, quite upset, to the city centre, to fetch us some good books in the Waterstones Brussels. A short distance before the Waterstones, we noticed two troopers patrolling the street (notice the "W" sign right between the troopers, a little higher than their heads). I am a very pro-army guy, but this just isn't normal. It only goes to show that the more muslims you let enter your country, the more you are apt to see scenes like this - because you also import the pathologies invariably inherent in muslim societies.

In Canada, military bases are now being used to host migrants from Middle East. Justin Trudeau, the new Canadian prime minister, first halted military strikes against ISIS, then refused to join the coalition against it. Terrorism has apparently never been a priority for Trudeau -- not like "gender equality," global warming, euthanasia and injustices committed against Canada's natives.

The bigger question is: Why does anyone choose to fight in a war? Civilized nations go to war so that members of today's generation may sacrifice themselves to protect future generations. But if there are no future generations, there is no reason whatever for today's young men to die in war. It is "demography, stupid."

Spain's fertility has fallen the most -- the lowest in Western Europe over twenty years and the most extreme demographic spiral observed anywhere. Similarly, fewer babies were born in Italy in 2015 than in any year since the state was founded 154 years ago. For the first time in three decades, Italy's population shrank. Germany, likewise, is experiencing a demographic suicide.

This massive deployment of armed forces in our own cities is a departure from history. It is a moral disarmament, before a military one. It is Europe's new Weimar moment, from the name of the first German Republic that was dramatically dismantled by the rise of Nazism. The Weimar Republic still represents a cultural muddle, a masterpiece of unarmed democracy devoted to a mutilated pacifism, a mixture of naïve cultural, political reformism and the first highly developed welfare state.

According to the historian Walter Laqueur, Weimar was the first case of the "life and death of a permissive society." Will Europe's new Weimar also be brought down, this time by Islamists?"

MINDBLOWING INSANITY IN FLANDERS, BELGIUM: TOP HONCHO OF CATHOLIC EDUCATION LIEVEN BOEVE WANTS TO OFFER ISLAMIC COURSES AND PRAYER ROOMS, ALLOW HEADSCARVES IN CATHOLIC SCHOOLS.

Last week, I had a small post lamenting the islamic intrusions in French Catholic schools.

I am used to quite some lunacy over here in Europe, but I admit I was more than a little taken aback this morning when I read that in Flanders, Belgium's Dutch-speaking north, things are actually set to become far worse. These are no 'intrusions'. These are invitations.

Via Het Laatste Nieuws Online:

 photo insanity_catholic_education_2016_zps3byrx14v.jpg

Read this and cry:

"The Catholic Education works on a school model wherein other religions and philosophies will get a much larger role. This means that muslims and people of other faiths, on schools where they constitute a large number, will get their own places [of worship].

There will be more tolerance for religious symbols like the headscarf, possibly special rooms to pray near the catholic chapel, and islamic lessons or trips as a voluntary out of school activity.

"It's an ambitious project, but studies show that our identity is completely watering down if we do nothing. We offer our schools a mirror to set the next step", says top honcho for Flemish Catholic Schools Lieven Boeve.

Guimard Street [so called because it's the turf of the main leading institutions and organizations of catholic education in Flanders - MFBB] wants to use the model of the "dialogue" school to attract more muslim students, but also to reinforce catholic identity. "It is no longer the intention to persuade muslims or people of other faiths to our own great truths", posits co-founder of the Dialogue Schools Didier Pollefeyt (Catholic University of Leuven). "We want to make muslims, people of other faiths and ourself feel stronger. We are not going to mix religions, but in a Dialogue School there will be, apart from a Christian chapel, also a space for muslims to pray, there will be place for the headscarf".

My oh my what gobbledegook. This is by far the most lunatic mission I have seen catholic schools embark upon in my life.

Some debunking is in order, although I feel I a bulldozer would be preferable over a keyboard:

a.) "This means that muslims and people of other faiths, on schools where they constitute a large number, will get their own places [of worship]"

This is a ridiculous spin to make it look like it's not especially aimed at accommodating muslims. In the Belgian school network, there are basically only two religions present "in large numbers". Christianity and islam. Christianity is declining sharply. Islam is on the ascendance. In Antwerp, 52 per cent of students in basic and high school are no longer autochton. The truly overwhelming majority of these 52 per cent are... muslim. There may be a scattering of Hindu students in some schools (also in Brussels) or the token Buddhist, but that's about it. And Jews as a whole number a paltry 20,000 on a Belgian population of 11 million. Ergo, those who issue this communique should have the honesty to call this initiative what it is: yet another kneefall for islam.

b.) "There will be more tolerance for religious symbols like the headscarf, possibly special rooms to pray near the catholic chapel, and islamic lessons or trips as a voluntary out of school activity."

The result will merely be an acceleration of segregation, and even more psychological pressure on the dwindling number of female muslims students who do not don the hijab yet to follow the example of the zealots.

c.) "It's an ambitious project, but studies show that our identity is completely watering down if we do nothing."

Who's responsible for these "studies"? The Centre for Equal Opportunities and Combating Racism [CGKR, now rebaptized Unia - MFBB]? OF COURSE the identity of Catholic Schools is watering down, if you do not even believe what you stand for. If teachers are ASHAMED to cast a cross before class. If Christian religion teachers admit they do not consider themselves Christian anymore. This is basically the equivalent of a guy floating in a life jacket in the middle of the ocean who, upon discovering his jacket is leaking, decides that the best strategy to counter the problem is to merrily punch another hole in it!

c.) "Guimard Street wants to use the model of the "dialogue" school to attract more muslim students, but also to reinforce catholic identity."

Muslim students are coming anyway, what with the truly catastrophic fertility rate among autochtons. As for the "Dialogue School" reinforcing Catholic Identity, I just wonder, is the author of that concept perhaps the guy from the local funny farm who walks around with a paper hat and his right hand tucked in his vest, proclaiming he is Napoleon? Because this laughable excuse of an "idea" boils down to Catholic Schools reinforcing their identity... by expressing LESS of their identity!!! This is like preparing yourself for a math exam by studying sociology. Or announcing you are going to increase the appeal of your golf school by offering courses in knitting.

d.) "We are not going to mix religions, but in a Dialogue School there will be, apart from a Christian chapel, also a space for muslims to pray, there will be place for the headscarf"."

Given the very obvious tolerance of muslims for other faiths, it can be safely assumed that fifteen years from now, that "catholic chapel" next to the islamic prayer room will be used as a place to stock automatic weapons and explosives, and the Catholic School itself will have become a madrassah.

We have met the mastermind of this insane plan, Lieven Boeve, before. In March 2014, I had a post dealing with the decision - just as idiotic - of the Catholic University of Louvain to offer a chair "Islamic Theology". You can find that post here.

 photo quislings_zps5vfzgiba.jpg

Lieven Boeve is the guy - although it would be far more correct to refer to him as eunuch - to the left.

Back then, I labeled him a quisling already.

Turns out, I could not have been more right.
