Upon reading the article I noticed that Denmark has already a muslim-only cemetery. Good. So Mr. El-Hussein won't have to share Danish soil with unbelievers around him, like that hapless Muzaffar Khan in Burbage, Leicestershire.

NATO BALTIC AIR POLICING.

Since Russia's annexation of the Krim in March 2014, NATO has upgraded its Baltic Air Policing mission- essentially a QRA operation - to safeguard the airspace of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia from 4 jets to 16.

Currently, four Belgian F-16's are part of this force, admitted, still a meagre one. Personnel is drawn from both the 2nd Tactical Wing (Florennes AFB) and the 10th (Kleine Brogel AFB).

Our jets operate from the Polish AFB of Malbork, alongside Polish Mig-29s.




Sorry, no time for translations. Towards the end of the video a Polish pilot is interviewed, and he states a.o. that for long missions the F-16 is better suited, but that in combat situations the Mig-29 is preferable, given its greater strength and ability to take shorter turns. I have no way of verifying the validity of that argument. If there's someone who can, please step forward.

As to the "randomness" of the attack, there are only a few thousand Jews remaining in Denmark, and therefore not a lot of Bat Mitzvahs. I am disinclined to believe the killer just got lucky. As with the attack on the free-speech event, he knew exactly where he was going.

As Laura says, "What starts with Jews never ends with Jews." Many Europeans dislike Jews, and many others are indifferent to their fate. But it helps to keep a sense of self-interest about these things: The man who killed that Jew wants to kill you, too.

The first victim yesterday was Finn Nørgaard, a 55-year-old film maker attending the conference on "Art, Blasphemy and Freedom of Expression". Mr Nørgaard directed the 2004 documentary Boomerang Boy, produced the 2008 film Lê Lê, and occasionally appeared in front of the camera, too. It will be interesting to see whether the self-pampering A-listers of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Scientists will managee to squeeze in a mention of him at this month's Oscars during the teary montage of deceased artists. A decade ago the Academy couldn't find room, amidst George Clooney et al congratulating themselves on their "courage" for making the umpteenth dreary film on McCarthyism, to namecheck Theo van Gogh, who was pumped full of bullets, semi-decapitated and had a gloating note from his killer pinned through his chest by a dagger - all because he made a film. Messrs van Gogh and Nørgaard weren't blacklisted, they weren't reduced to working under a pseudonym or (horrors!) in television. They died for their art. George Clooney was happy enough to latch on to the #JeSuisCharlie shtick at the Golden Globes. If he means it, he'll ensure poor Finn Nørgaard gets a nod in among the orgy of backslapping at the end of this month.

Mr Nørgaard's film Lê Lê is the tale of four siblings who fled Vietnam and wound up running one of the most successful restaurant businesses in Scandinavia. One assumes that's the sort of thing David Cameron had in mind when he issued the following response to the slaughter in Copenhagen:

Denmark and Britain are both successful multi-ethnic, multi-faith democracies and we must never allow those values to be damaged by acts of violence like this.

That's the usual Cameronian bollocks. As recently as the late Eighties, over 90 per cent of Danes were (albeit highly residual) members of the Church of Denmark, so it wasn't that "multi-faith". In reality, for almost their entire history, both Denmark and Britain were mostly ethnically homogeneous societies that admitted small numbers of immigrants who generally assimiliated and sometimes, as in Lê Lê, distinguished themselves. And then, a generation or so back, the Cameronian elites in Britain and on the Continent committed themselves to a process of mass, transformative immigration on a scale unknown to any society in human history outside of conquest. "Multiculturalism" is a Trojan horse Europe gave itself in an act of moral vanity, and waiting inside was Islam.

Mr Cameron now insists that the lesson of yesterday's attack is that "we must never allow" what he dignifies as his "values" to be "damaged" by such "acts of violence". His counterpart in Copenhagen, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, the tasty Danish pastry he and Obama spent Mandela's funeral doing selfies with, professed herself mystified by the slaughter:

We don't know the motive for the attacks but we know that there are forces that want to harm Denmark, that want to crush our freedom of expression, our belief in liberty.

Hmm. "Forces that want to harm Denmark", huh? Any chance of pinning it down a little? It's not much of a "freedom of expression" or a "belief in liberty" that can't even talk honestly about its enemies, is it?

I would like to ask Mr Cameron and Miss Thorning-Schmidt what's their happy ending here? What's their roadmap for fewer "acts of violence" in the years ahead? Or are they riding on a wing and a prayer that they can manage the situation and hold it down to what cynical British civil servants used to call during the Irish "Troubles" "an acceptable level of violence"? In Pakistan and Nigeria, the citizenry are expected to live with the reality that every so often Boko Haram will kick open the door of the schoolhouse and kidnap your daughters for sex-slavery or the Taliban will gun down your kids and behead their teacher in front of the class. And it's all entirely "random", as President Obama would say, so you just have to put up with it once in a while, and it's tough if it's your kid, but that's just the way it is. If we're being honest here, isn't that all Mr Cameron and Miss Thorning-Schmidt are offering their citizens? Spasms of violence as a routine feature of life, but don't worry, we'll do our best to contain it - and you can help mitigate it by not going to "controversial" art events, or synagogues, or gay bars, or...

I said above that waiting inside multiculturalism's Trojan horse was Islam. Not "Islamism", or "radical Islam", or "extremist Islam", or "violent extremism" or "extremist radicalism" or "radicalist violentism" or anything else: just Islam. As I wrote yesterday:

This is usually the point at which we're expected to do the not-all-Muslims-want-to-shoot-you-dead shtick. And that's true. But Islam itself has no feeling whatsoever for the spirit of free speech.

The more Islamic a society gets, the less free speech it has - the less intellectual inquiry, artistic achievement, contrarian spirit. Most western Muslims are not willing themselves to open fire on synagogues or Lars Vilks, but they help maintain the shriveled definition of acceptable expression that helps license the fanatics of Copenhagen and Paris. Muslims in Europe, North America and Australia will pay lip service to "free speech", and then promptly re-define it as excluding speech that "blasphemes" or "insults" their faith - which is to say them. Which is to say the great vulgar, brawling, free-for-all of free societies does not apply to them. So, when, say, France's Muslim population reaches 20 per cent, you will need to have the support of three-quarters of the remaining 80 per cent to maintain even a bare popular majority in favor of free speech.

Is that likely? Or will there be more and more non-Muslims like the wretched quisling Welsh bishop, the Right Reverend Gregory Cameron, frantically arguing that if you hadn't been so "offensive" you wouldn't have caught their eye? Islam and free speech are, as His Miserable Grace implicitly recognizes, incompatible. And ultimately, therefore, you have to choose between liberty and mass Muslim immigration.

The reaction of David Cameron and Helle Thorning-Schmidt suggests they have made their choice. I think, somewhere deep down, they know it's a recipe for slow societal suicide. And I wonder if, even deeper down, they also know that it won't be that slow."

Inception is imho a flawless movie, grossly understated. I suppose that's because it's too intellectual. Or, put it another way, the storyline requires some serious effort to comprehend. Avatar or Predator it ain't (thank God). But then we know this, don't we? Memento required that intellectual effort too, and boy was it worth it at the end. I still haven't seen Interstellar, but I will soon, and two days ago I ordered Insomnia per Amazon. Yup, I've become a total Nolan aficionado.

Go see Inception. A bonus on top of the great story, the superb cast, the stylistic excellence, and Marion Cotillard's beautiful rack, is Hans Zimmer's magnificent soundtrack.

Is Cobb dreaming? Or is he not dreaming?

I've come to think Nolan is essentially a hopeful guy; that also was the gist of quite a lot of reviews of Interstellar. Look at the toll in the last seconds. Its rotational movements show a couple of hiccups, suggesting it won't keep turning indefinitely.

KAYLA MUELLER, LEFTIST DUMBASS AND SUPPORTER OF PALESTINIAN TERRORIST GROUPS.

I'm sorry for her parents and even for her.

But we must start calling a spade a spade and PRONTO.

Kayla Mueller was not only one of those countless do-gooder types choosing the wrong side to "help" - muslims - but she was actively aiding and abetting Palestinian terror groups.

Over at Arutz Sheva, Lee Kaplan sheds some essential light on Kayla Mueller:

"Kayla Mueller was a member of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) who spent at least two years working with that terrorist support group. She was involved in demonstrations against the Jews in Sheikh Jarrah (part of East Jerusalem) after a 20 year long court decision recognized the Jews' legal rights to homes they were chased from in earlier wars launched by the Arabs. She also participated in demonstrations to interfere with the IDF demolishing the homes of terrorists and suicide bombers after the courts okayed the demolitions.

Just as with Rachel Corrie, the press tries to paint Kayla as a selfless volunteer helping poor Arab refugees. She may have helped injured Arabs in "refugee" camps, but she was working to support the goals of Palestinian irredentists and to interfere with the IDF on behalf of terrorist groups.

As an ISM activist she was a tool for the worldwide jihad.

A letter she wrote which appears on the ISM’s website describes the usual ISM claims of atrocities that never occurred, but were fabrications worthy of Pallywood.

First, she lived and rioted with other ISM activists with an Arab family that refused to vacate a home they were squatting in after a legal case that took 20 years established it was stolen from the Jewish owners.

She wrote propaganda letters for the ISM website:

“Just the next year in 2009 Ashraf’s brother, Bassem Abu Rahma, was participating in the demonstration and was attempting to communicate with the IDF soldiers telling them to stop shooting the steel-coated rubber bullets as an Israeli activist had been shot in the leg and needed medical attention. Not soon after an Israeli soldier illegally used a tear gas canister as a bullet hitting Bassem in the chest, stopping his heart and killing him instantly,” she wrote.

Of course, the Arab propaganda rag Al Jazeera told the story that way. This really occurred during one of the weekly riots in Bi’ilin in the West Bank where the Arabs demonstrate “nonviolently” by throwing rocks at the IDF soldiers as well as incendiaries. Kayla was there with the ISM to participate. Kayla admitted to being present at the weekly riots.

She was also a human shield in support of terrorists. She wrote:


“I could tell a few stories about sleeping in front of half demolished buildings waiting for the one night when the bulldozers come to finish them off; fearing sleep because you don’t know what could wake you. . . . I could tell a few stories about walking children home from school because settlers next door are keen to throw stones, threaten and curse at them. Seeing the honest fear in young boys eyes when heavily armed settlers arise from the outpost; pure fear, frozen from further steps, lip trembling.”

Most Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria are religious Jews. Many are professionals who wish to lead quiet family lives. They do not generally engage in violence, except for an aberrant few who sometimes engage in non-life threatening vandalism and are severely castigated by the rest. The ISM hit on a strategy of accusing the Jews in the 'West Bank' of what the Arabs do continually to Jews: throw stones, attack school children, destroy produce etc.

Another ISM strategy is to try and disable Israeli security tactics. One of the newer ones is to try and suggest that when the IDF uses tear gas to avoid lethality in controlling weekly Arab rioters, the gas is really deadly and must be stopped altogether. The real reason for this inversion about tear gas is the Palestinians and their ISM lackeys hope they can make it impossible for the IDF to control the weekly riots such as in Bi’ilin, riots Kayla was a part of.

“Oppression greets us from all angles”, she wrote. “Oppression wails from the soldiers radio and floats through tear gas clouds in the air. Oppression explodes with every sound bomb and sinks deeper into the heart of the mother who has lost her son. But resistance is nestled in the cracks in the wall, resistance flows from the minaret 5 times a day and resistance sits quietly in jail knowing its time will come again. Resistance lives in the grieving mother’s wails and resistance lives in the anger at the lies broadcasted across the globe. Though it is sometimes hard to see and even harder sometimes to harbor, resistance lives. Do not be fooled, resistance lives,” Kayla concluded in her letter.




Kayla Mueller, leftozoid idiot and aider and abetter of Paleostinian terror groups. Mueller was not the heroine MSM made her out to be. Mueller was part of the problem.

This certainly doesn’t sound like a tireless “aid worker”. Instead, it connotes a supporter of Palestinian Arab terrorist groups. Her praise of the muezzin calls and “resistance” suggests she’s on the side of the worldwide jihad, not viewing all human beings, even Jews, as having the same rights.

Kayla Mueller made it clear she was involved in the weekly riots in Bi’ilin. She wrote of Arabs who died at the hands of the IDF, due to non lethal tear gas usage as if that resulted in several members of the same family who she roomed with dying. Rachel Corrie did the same thing, creating a story for the ISM of protecting an Arab family from IDF bulldozers. One family daughter Kayla guested with died in her own home, not at a demonstration. The fact was the woman was very ill, with leukemia and other internal infections. As in good ISM tactics, her corpse then became another propaganda tool. But like any good ISM activist, Kayla Mueller didn’t let this stand in the way of her propaganda letter home:

“And now just today, the daughter of the Rahmah family, Jawaher, has been asphyxiated from tear gas inhalation. Jawaher was not even participating in the weekly demonstration but was in her home approximately 500 meters away from where the tear gas canisters were being fired (by wind the tear gas reaches the village and even the nearby illegal settlement often). There is currently little information as to how she suffocated but the doctor that attended her said a mixture of the tear gas from the IDF soldiers and phosphorus poisoned her lungs causing asphyxiation, the stopping of the heart and death this afternoon after fighting for her life last night in the hospital. The following is a clip from today showing hundreds of Palestinians, Israelis and international activist carrying her body to her families (sic) home where they said their final goodbyes.”

The IDF doesn’t use phosphorous in the West Bank. The ISM always claims it does. It’s good for propaganda.

“This family has a tragic story, but it is the story of life in Palestine. Thank you for reading. Ask me questions and ask yourself questions but most importantly, question the answers. Forever in solidarity, Kayla”, she concluded.

Kayla Mueller came from Prescott, Arizona where she once volunteered at a women’s shelter. Instead of continuing to help those who needed it in America, she chose to take the ISM’s revolutionary path and to embrace part of the worldwide jihad and she died for it, tragically. But she was no true altruist. She sought “freedom” working to support fascist groups that provide just the opposite for their people and she paid the ultimate price for that choice."

Our media will NEVER present it as such, but Kayla Mueller has simply joined the ever growing row of wannabe world betterers abused by extremist muslim organizations who tricked the doofuses to their untimely deaths as expendable pawns in their anti-western propaganda efforts. The best well known do-gooder of these is of course Rachel Corrie, but there are quite a few others. One of them was a certain Vittorio Arrigoni, an Italian communist and "peace" activist. Like Mueller, he was a member of the International Solidarity Movement. Tremendously upset as he was with the Gazans' plight, he went there in 2008 and on his blog, Guerrilla Radio, lamented their situation and glorified their "martyrs". It does not seem to have occurred to him that if the Gazans, after the IDF in 2005 forced Jewish settlers manu militari from their homes in the Gaza Strip, had set about building a workable society instead of attacking yet again the Jewish State, there would not have been a "need" for his presence. Anyway, one day Arrigoni was kidnapped by salafist extremists, tortured, and murdered. Hamas did arrest 4 salafists, and a "court" sentenced two to life imprisonment. But already in February 2013 this was reduced to 15 years. Despite the fact that Arrigoni had been brutally strangled, "lawyer" Mohammed Zaqut "asked in our appeal for the conviction for murder and abduction to be dropped to only abduction". Call me a nasty person, but I fear those 15-year sentences are as likely to run their full measure as Kim Kardashian to grow a brain.



Vittorio Arrigoni, like Kayla Mueller a brainless twat who paid for his idiocy with his life.


But as cruel as it may seem, even if Mueller had lived, the rest of her life would probably haven't been a rosy experience either. Check out this article about sexual exploitation by "idealistic" leftist western women and feminists (prolly an oxymoron) who discover what a real 'War on Women' looks like:

Sedovnik also accused radical Israeli feminists of sweeping the information about the abuses under the rug, lest it diminish world support for the Palestinian cause beloved by those feminists.

According to the local leftist blogger cited above:

It is not a matter of rape to satisfy lust. They are done systematically in order to impregnate the girl, and then to marry her, after she converts to Islam. Of course, we know about this method from girls who underwent a similar process inside Israel and escaped to Europe, but it is hard to escape from the [Palestinian] territories. Sometimes these women, some of whom are already older women, are not allowed to leave their homes unaccompanied, in order to prevent their escape. If someone doubts my words…please, check the statistics for entries and departures, and you will discover that a large portion of female leftist activists did not leave the country. Everyone knows about it, but nobody dares to talk about it…I ran into a few Norwegian girls married to Palestinians. They are not happy. Their lives were destroyed. Mrs Keat, a self-confessed news junkie, ordered the magazine from a local newsagent in Corsham, Wiltshire, a week after the 7 January attacks in Paris. Two days after she bought her magazine, she learned that an officer had been back to ask for the names of the buyers.

The names and addresses of the buyers were added to an intelligence note and fed into a police crime and intelligence system, police confirmed. The force deleted the note after details of the visit came to light in a letter that Mrs Keat wrote to The Guardian and warned of the potential ramifications after seeing an advert for Je Suis Charlie badges...

What really is the difference between Charlie Hebdo's killers and Wiltshire Police? The anti-Charlie crowd made it clear years ago that they knew where the offending cartoonists were and one day they would get them. The Wiltshire Police are not so subtly telling Charlie's English readers that they know where you are - just in case one day they need to get you:

You can get away with anything when you smother it in blather about "enhancing" public safety and "advising appropriately". But the fact remains that, a few days after the hideous opportunist Cameron was marching under the #JeSuisCharlie banner in Paris, his coppers were ordering newsagents to cough up the names of anyone who bought the magazine. This is Mother England in 2015: You can still read samizdat literature, but your name will be entered in a state database.

Equally disturbing was a recent English court judgment re the Home Office ban denying Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller entry into the United Kingdom. Their Lordships' appalling decision essentially extends the heckler's veto to Her Britannic Majesty's immigration policy:

A British Court of Appeal handed down its judgment dismissing our appeal challenging our ban from entering the United Kingdom. The key element of its decision is its emphasis on the fact that "this was a public order case where the police had advised that significant public disorder and serious violence might ensue from the proposed visit." In writing that judgment, Lord Justice Tomlinson (with whom Lord Justice Patten and Lord Justice Floyd agree) has only made it clear that the British government has decided to set aside established law and the freedom of speech in order to appease violent Muslims.

No serious person thinks Spencer and Geller are any threat to "public order". They speak without incident all over not only the United States but also the Dominion of Canada, and without unduly stressing the Queen's Peace. So, if they can't speak without incident in the United Kingdom, that is a reflection not on them but on Britain. What Lord Justice Tomlinson means by the prospect of "serious violence" is that, if you're booked to give a speech in Oxford and some Islamic grievance-mongers threaten to go bananas over it, your speech has to be forbidden in deference to the crazies. The decision thus incentivizes those who threaten violence. As Laura Rosen Cohen likes to say, "security concerns" are the new "shut up".

And, if you think David Cameron's ministry has grown far too comfortable with using state power to restrain the opinions of a free party, wait till the other fellows take over:

The shadow home secretary, Yvette Cooper, will on Monday unveil a strategy to tackle the UK's soaring rise in antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia and abuse of people with disabilities. The package includes making homophobic and disability hate crimes an aggravated criminal offence, ensuring that police treat such offences in the same way as racist hate crimes.

Cooper will outline changes to the criminal records framework whereby such offences will be clearly marked on the criminal records of perpetrators. Currently, records checks do not highlight homophobia, disability or transgender identity as a motivating factor in a conviction, and do not automatically appear in police data used for vetting applicants in sensitive vocations, such as those working with vulnerable people, including the disabled.

Labour's move comes as a new breakdown of police figures reveals an escalation in hate crimes since 2012, with a steep rise in abuse reported by the transgender community alongside the well-documented rises in antisemitism and Islamophobia.

As that grab-bag suggests, right now the leftie sexual identity groups are happy to make common cause with the Islamocrazies because they're both about shutting people up. For example, the feminist comedienne Kate Smurthwaite is already in Britain so, unlike Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller, she can't be turned back at Heathrow. But she apparently holds insufficiently "respectful" attitudes to "sex workers", so she had her speech at Goldsmiths College canceled because of - what else? - "security concerns". The topic of her talk was, of course, free speech.

Professor Jonathan Turley says:

Western leaders have increasingly spoken out against the dangers of free speech. For politicians, free speech is an abstraction, the consequences of free speech tend to be more tangible in the form of riots and murders.

You don't have to be a politician to think "free speech is an abstraction". Robert Spencer might want to give speeches about Islam, and Mrs Keat might want to read Charlie Hebdo, but most people don't want to give any speeches at all and are content to read Hello! or People or whatever's filling the rack where Charlie Hebdo used to be. In some ways, it's the easiest right to surrender, particularly to regimes that smother the expansion of state regulatory power in soothing twaddle about "enhancing public safety" to protect "vulnerable people".

But vast, systemic, industrial-scale 21st-century paedophilia by Muslim grooming gangs aided and abetted by law enforcement and local government will be ignored and hushed up - essentially in the interests of (what was that expression again?) "community cohesion". It turns out free speech isn't that "abstract". When you so hedge in free expression with political correctness, you make it impossible even to raise certain subjects, and thereby facilitate real, non-abstract evil. The loss of free speech brings other losses, too.

Yet, looking at the ease with which governments of some of the oldest, freest societies on earth are shackling and restraining the right to speak, to read, to think, the obvious question to ask is what rights will they go after next? After all, if 300 years of free speech can be rolled back in the interest of "enhancing public safety", why not property rights, due process, freedom of association, freedom of religion or even (gasp!) sexual liberty? Why think that statist restraints on core liberties will confine themselves to just one right?"

THE STATE OF FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION IN ANDERLECHT, BRUSSELS.

A chilling article in HLN, Brussels regional edition:

TEN YOUTHS ATTACK TWENTY-YEAR OLD AMADOU WITH BASEBALL BATS.

STUDENT BEATEN TO A PULP AFTER SUPPORTING 'CHARLIE'.

"Three weeks ago, in the third week of January, on a Tuesday, A technical school in Anderlecht, Brussels, the Royal Atheneum Leonardo da Vinci.

Younes B., a student car mechanics, said during French courses that he would like to shake hands with the terrorists who had killed the Charlie Hebdo staff.

One day later, the history teacher declared in front of class that Charlie Hebdo cartoons or the like should never, under no circumstances, justify terrorist attacks.

Younes B. did not exactly like that statement and started a petition in which he demanded that the teacher history be removed from school.

Of 20 classmates, 18 signed that petition.

Two did not: a certain Amadou, and another one.

When Younes tried to force Amadou to sign the petition, the latter defended his history teacher. The Monday after, things escalated. Younes asked Amadou, an amateur boxer, to fight with one of his comrades. When Amadou refused, Younes gave him an uppercut. Thereupon Amadou retaliated.

And the day after that, all hell broke loose. Amadou: "comrades had already warned me Younes wanted to take revenge. After school time ten youngsters I did not know cornered me on a little square. Three or four of them had baseball bats. For minutes, they kept beating me with them, and they took especially aim at my head. So hard that two bats broke in pieces.

Police arrived and Amadou was brought to hospital with severe wounds. For five days he was unable to work. The Atheneum did not want to react, but let it be known Younes B. was no longer welcome. The perpetrators are being sought."

We can learn quite a lot reading this story. I will sum it up for you.



1.) The name of the main perpetrator, Younes B., and the fact that 18 out of 20 signed that petition, leads one to believe that this class was practically 100 percent muslim.

2.) They are OK with terrorists murdering a magazine staff because the magazine in question published cartoons of their "prophet".

3.) If that isn't proof of their disdain for freedom of expression, they wanted to remove a teacher from school for speaking out against the terrs.

4.) Proof upon proof: those who don't agree, like Amadou, must be punished.

5.) Their propensity for violence is staggering. OUR boys are being feminized, these rascals have no qualms using violence which could have led to the death of Amadou.

6.) These monsters have networks: Younes B. was able to gather in a very short time a gang with no connection to the school.

7.) That gang was prepared to use extreme violence on behalf of Younes B.



We, the authochtons, the native Belgians, and the well-integrated immigrants, have to live with the consequences of the disastrous open-door immigration policy deliberately orchestrated by the socialists and the greens to thwart the phony threat of Vlaams Belang.

It is THEY who imported hundreds of thousands of backward muslims and made "Belgian" citizens of them, via insane family reunion laws, the Quick Citizenship Bill, and more.

IN MEMORIAM CAPTAIN MUATH AL-KASASBEH.

DowneastBlog readers know that I am no friend of islam - to put it very, very, very mildly.

That said, like every normal human being I was utterly shocked to learn of the gruesome fate of Lieutenant Muath Al-Kasasbeh, posthumously promoted Captain, of No.1 Squadron, the Royal Jordanian Air Force.

I did not watch the video to the end. I clicked the pause bars the moment Lt. Al-Kasasbeh started whipping his forearms up in instinctive gestures to shield his face.

I am a Christian, though admittedly not a good one - I know my many faults and weaknesses. In my faith, we learn that Man was created in God's image. I will let morally depraved leftists laugh at that notion. I deem them, who consider themselves so smart and 'sophisticated', not intelligent enough to grasp the deeper lying implication of that oft-quoted Biblical expression. That implication is not that Up There, some manlike almighty God sits in clouds to reward those who do good, and punish those who are bad. No, it is rather that because humans were crafted 'like God', they are themselves unique, precious, and of unfathomable value.

The willful destruction of a human being is therefore an appalling thing. Especially when it is done in a way that is meant to show the audience in the minutest details how the victim is reduced to ashes - literally.

Of course, the history of mankind is full of that deliberate destruction of humans by humans. The most widespread and "efficient" practice of this habit is called war. Christians know that killing other humans is a sin; yet they also know that sometimes it is a necessary evil, that killing villains will prevent the killing, on a larger scale, of innocents.

This is why I am morally at ease with the use of deadly violence against "the bad". Whether they are called Nazis, Khmer Rouge, Taliban... or ISIS.

Captain Al-Kasasbeh was, unlike me, directly in the frontline of the war against the subhumans of islamic state - even though he was himself a muslim.

The very graphic video of one individual risks to push the many other gruesome murders of militant islam to the background. We know the captain's face, we know his parents, we have come across some scant information of the kind of person he was - in all likelihood an amiable person. It is easy, because of that focus on Muath, to forget literally hundreds of Nigerians who have met the same fate as the Jordanian pilot. To forget tens, if not more, of Pakistani Christians. And many more across the planet who fell victim to islamic barbarity.

But because we now know Captain Al-Kasasbeh so good, comparatively speaking, we... may perhaps take the liberty to see him as the representative of all those countless others.

Muath leaves behind a grieving family and a widow - only last September, he married Anwar Tarawneh. Pray for them all.

THE MURDER OF ALBERTO NISMAN.

All the turmoil in the world would make people overlook the Alberto Nisman case. But check out the following article by Rick Moran. Via American Thinker:

"An Argentina prosecutor who, last week, accused top government officials of covering up Iranian involvement in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires was found dead in his apartment.

Alberto Nisman conducted an investigation during which he discovered that the Argentine government – including the former president, husband of the current president – deliberately hid evidence of the involvement of top Iranian officials in the bombing. In exchange, the Iranians granted oil concessions to the energy-starved country.

The cover-up continues to this day with another quid-pro-quo deal involving the current president, where Argentina sold wheat to the Iranians. Cristina Kirchner, widow of former president Nestor Kirchner, has been accused of facilitating the deal and had complete knowledge of Iranian involvement in the terror attack.

What is it that Nisman has on Kirchner, and did it get him killed? The reason I hesitate to definitively say that this was an assassination is that the investigation was botched to begin with (the original judge was thrown off the case for bias and bribery; he was impeached in 2005), and Nisman himself may have been mentally unbalanced.

This is an account of the charges explained by Nisman in a radio interview a few days ago:

In a radio interview on Thursday, a day after filing the case, Nisman ratified his accusations against president Cristina Fernández. “From all the phone tapping records, which were verified, we proved that two months after the death of (former president) Néstor Kirchner (…) Argentina made a 180-degree turn in its foreign policy.”

The prosecutor went on: “(The Executive) decided to approach Iran geopolitically (…) they wanted to establish full diplomatic relations, and more importantly, a commercial trade due to the energy crisis that Argentina faced.”

Nisman has accused the government of improving its relation with Tehran in order to obtain oil and to boost grain exports at the expense of covering up Iranian officials' involvement in the bombing.

He explained that the special prosecutor's office was established by former president Nestor Kirchner in 2004 and began its work in 2005. He pointed out that at the time, the then Foreign Minister Rafael Bielsa had received a proposal by Iran to exculpate the suspects in the attack.

“Bielsa said so very clearly: we have received an offer from the Iranians to buy wheat for 4bn dollars, a very beneficial economic offer, in exchange we have to state that the prosecutor’s complaint was all a mistake and void it,” Nisman said.

However, the prosecutor said that ex president Kirchner had nothing to do with those offers. “(Nestor Kirchner) always said ‘this is a Judicial issue, get out of here'.”

“The president decided to give impunity to Iran, to exculpate (the suspects) in the probe, so they would no longer be under investigation. All the decisions were taken by her. All the talks (recorded in phone taps) relate to her (…) She was aware of everything and (Foreign Minister Hector Timerman) did not move without the president’s consent,” he said.


Many observers thought it fishy when the Argentine government suddenly dropped the notion of Iranian involvement in 2012. But by this time, the evidence had been mishandled, the investigation had gone off the rails, and no one could sort through the corruption and incompetence of the police who handled the inquiry. Several local police went on trial in 2004 in connection with the bombing, and all were acquitted.

Nisman said US court documents showed Islamist militant Abdul Kadir – who was sentenced to life in prison in 2010 for participating in a foiled plan to attack John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York – was Rabbani's disciple.

Kadir "received instructions" from Rabbani "and carried out the Iranian infiltration in Guyana, whose structure was nearly identical ... to that established by Rabbani in Argentina," the prosecutor wrote.

Nisman urged Interpol to intensify its efforts to execute the arrest warrants against Imad Fayez Moughnieh, Ali Fallahijan, Mohsen Rabbani, Ahmad Reza Asghari, Ahmad Vahidi and Mohsen Rezai..."

While we are at it, you might want to check out former Argentine president Carlos Menem, who has also been accused of obstructing the investigations into the AMIA bombing.

VLAAMS BELANG'S FILIP DEWINTER IN BELGIAN PARLIAMENT: "QURAN SOURCE OF ALL EVIL, A LICENCE TO KILL."

An interesting timeline over the past ten days. It all started with a speech by Filip Dewinter, Vlaams Belang, in the Kamer (Lower House):


1.) 22 JANUARY: DEWINTER'S "QURAN SOURCE OF ALL EVIL" SPEECH IN THE LOWER HOUSE.

"The quran is the reason for a lot of turmoil, the source of all evil, a licence to kill", said Dewinter from the speaker's pulpit with a quran in his hand. "This book, the basis of the islamic teachings, is professed in a fundamentalist way in quite a lot of mosques in our country". (...)

Filip Dewinter states that he understands "that there are a lot of moderate muslims". "But that does not mean there is a moderate islam and that the quran would be moderate".

Interior Minister was quite upset with Dewinter's statements. "There's something I have to tell you. You are waving here with a book which quite a lot of people in this country hold in high esteem. You are stigmatising an entire community here. We all know that there are radical and extremist elements in this community. All of us in this lower house want to fight against that. But you won't find any support for your views in this chamber".

FYI, Jan Jambon, Vice PM and Interior Minister for the supposedly center-right party NVA, is one of those #JeSuisCharlie idiots demonstrating in Paris two weeks ago, utterly convinced that his acte-de-présence actually made a difference.




2.) 25 JANUARY: LIMBURG MUSLIMS DEEPLY UPSET BY SPEECH DEWINTER.

Next step, a number of muslims holding a local political mandate, curiously enough all with constituencies in the eastern province of Limburg, were SOOOOOOOOOO upset with the words used by Dewinter to describe their holy book:

"A powerful ally of other belief system". Riiiiiiiiiiight. We see that all over the globe.



3.) 30 JANUARY: TWENTY-TWO RAIDS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. 4 SUSPECTS ARRESTED.

Then, on 30 January, Bang! Out of the blue 22 police raids aimed against jihadi recruiters. From HLN:

"BREAKING NEWS. During twenty-two raids in several locations throughout the country, this morning very early, four people were arrested. This happened within the framework of a federal antiterror operation dealing with persons leaving for Syria to join with a terrorist organization there, says (a spokesman for) the federal prosecutor. According to our sources, at least five youngsters, among them minors, would have been recruited by th (jihadist) network."

Guess what??? The raids took place mainly in... the province of Limburg!!! Mostly in Maaseik (11!), but also in Maasmechelen (2), Kinrooi (1), Houthalen-Helchteren (2), Neeroeteren (1), and Genk. Also in Antwerpen (4), and Sint-Jans-Molenbeek (1).

Uh... so let me get this straight... On 25 january a group of muslims from all over the province of LIMBURG issue a statement that they are 'deeply upset' by Dewinter calling the quran 'the source of all evil' in Parliament, and that they despise the terrorist attacks just as vehemently.

Five days later, a massive operation of 22 raids takes place... roughly three quarters of them in... the province of Limburg!


4.) 31 JANUARY: MAYOR NEEROETEREN CLOSES MOSQUE FOR THREE MONTHS.

Uh-oh. On 30 January Neeroeteren's mosque received the attention of federal police. One day later 'something' compels the Mayor of Neeroeteren to close the tent for three months.

"Mayor Jan Creemers (CDV) took the decision (to close the mosque) after a conversation with the mosque's imam. "Our decision is based on security guidelines. The fact that a raid took place is for us a reason to assume that in this prayer house things were happening which cannot be tolerated...."

So we first have a bunch of Limburgian supposedly well-integrated muslims of that famous peaceful majority whining over Dewinter's peppered allegations. They assure us they are just as much as us concerned about the radical elements, the implication being that, "noooooo, islam is the religion of peace, we don't know what came in our youngsters' heads, it's just a tiny tiny minority, if you read the quran it's as cute as Winnie the Pooh or The Waltons or whatever".

Next thing you know, the tiny minority is apparently big enough to warrant a - for Belgian standards anyway - massive sweep of federal police. Mostly in the province of Limburg no less!

You actually have to hand it to them, those cold-hearted f*cking liars. Because, you know, the province of Limburg is known for its widespread muslim communities scattered over a plethora of middle-sized towns. Those are all very tightly knit communities, and I'm sure - I'm absolutely DAMN SURE - that throughout them, whenever something fishy is going on in a mosque's basement, or in the backrooms of suspicious kebab bars, EVERYONE knows about it to one degree or another. Yessir, the whole spectrum from the toddlers over the pain-in-the-ass twelve-year olds over the gung-ho adolescents and their parents to auntie and gramps KNOW ABOUT IT. Not the details, in all likelihood. But that something's up? That 18-year old Mehmet's going to Turkey "on holiday" in the middle of school exams? That stuff has been unloaded from a van into so-and-so's house in the middle of the night? You bet the neighborhood knows it. Nossir, our muslim "brethren" can't in all honesty invoke the 'Wir haben es nicht gewusst' principle.

These Limburg muslims - and especially the local politicians among them - know what is going on in their communities. What nerve then, to pretend to be upset about Dewinter's allegations.

How well do I recall watching this clip on MTV in the mid-nineties, when I was still trying - how to put it nicely? - to at least get my bearings fixed. Although I did have quite a lot of recollections from my early youth in the seventies, I did not need The Connels to tell me this song wasn't about the timeframe between grade school and your first job. It was about your road between the latter and the point where you arrive twenty years later. Your prime time. The slot allotted to you to make it, or break it. The University of Life, so to speak.

Back then, there was no empathy, no personal connection with the fellas in the video.

But now - at 49 - there is.

And it's amazing how time has flown by.

Well... when you can look back and not regret the basic decisions you have made... the steps you have taken... I guess that's worth a lot, isn't it?

BELGIAN F-16 JETS DESTROY ISIS REFINERY IN IRAQ.

Two BAF fighter bombers destroyed a small modular refinery operated by ISIS in western Iraq. However, the attack took place around Christmas already, and the info around it is very scant.

"Belgian F-16 fighter bombers have, during the past week, in a nightly raid, destroyed an Iraqi oil refinery of terror group IS, according to a military source on Sunday.

The raid involved two planes and took place in the desert in Iraq's west. IS had installed a modular refinery on the spot, where fuel was being produced for the organization's vehicles.

According to the Belgian F-16 pilot, who wants to remain anonymous, early Thursday morning four laser guided 250-kg bombs were released which destroyed the target.

The pilot added that no casualties on the ground were observed, since at the time of attack the refinery was inactive."

250 kg-bombs? Laser-guided? Although the BAF also uses JDAM's, these must have been GBU-12 Paveway II's.

The good news is that our jets are apparently doing something useful. Although in the greater scheme of things, I fear attacks like these amount to little more than pinpricks. Far more planes and far more ordnance should be used.

The bad news is that we have to learn this from a pilot who wants to remain anonymous. Ergo, NOT via an official channel. Ergo, NOT via some MoD's spokesman. Ergo, the info on the Belgian Air Force's exploits against ISIS is being curtailed.

At the end of the year our planes had released around sixty bombs, or about two every three days. While a very modest tally, the strikes obtained were in all likelihood sufficiently significant to at least warrant some briefings from the MoD. Yet these have not materialized. Which seems strange, since during the first two~three weeks there were some press conferences held where the planes' missions were being detailed.

There can be only one explanation for the current radiosilence, and that is that some jackasses in the government have urged the MoD not to tout successes against ISIS. ISIS support on Belgian social network sites frequented by muslims is large. Are the cowards in government afraid to ruffle the delicate sensitivities of our muslim "compatriots"? Are they scared too much publicity may induce ISIS terrorists to some payback on our soil (as the jihadis offed in Verviers were obviously planning)? Or both?

Probably the latter. Memo to these cowards: if you dare not say out loud that Belgian bombs take out islamic terrs in the desert of Iraq because you're afraid of the reactions of our supposedly well-integrated followers of the prophet (may piss, crap, vomit and menstruation blood be showered upon him in prodigious quantities), then you have a serious problem with that part of our population.

But keep stickin your head in the sand, idiots.

Yes, I know. There don't even have to be violent shootouts for fatalities. This week, our "quality" "press" almost gleefully reported on the death of a two-year old Floridan toddler, Kaleb Ahles, who fatally shot himself with a gun he had taken from a map compartment in his father's car. A very tragic accident.

Curiously though, that same "press" remained mute on the number of perfectly healthy foetuses murdered in the womb throughout the States in the same week. Perhaps the number is so high it's embarrassing even for leftists?

Or not? Because they considered the defeat of the pro life bill in Congress, despite the GOP controlling it on both levels, a victory.

Leftism is a mental disease.

MICHAEL MANNHEIMER'S SPEECH IN WUERZBURG.

In Wuerzburg, Michael Mannheimer is to Wuegida what Lutz Bachmann is to Dresden's PEGIDA. Of 183 children he recently counted in a kindergarten, just two were German. Mr Mannheimer claims that in Pforzheim, a city in Germany's west, in the Saar region, 90% of all children under three years of age are muslim, from 17 different countries...

... It might be. Two of the German transporters we regularly see are from Pforzheim. Both are in their early fifties and right before last Xmas, I found out that they were both childless. Don't give me crap about this anecdote being a statistical fluke, I know what the fertility is among German autochtons, and it is well below replacement level.

I especially liked the part when the crowd is starting to chant "Luegenpresse". As a matter of fact, Belgium's own Luegenpresse par excellence, newspaper De Standaard, apparently had lots of fun this week with statements made by Steven Emerson on Fox News, in a debate hosted by Jeanine Pirro. Now it is true that Mr Emerson made the unfortunate comment that “There are actual cities like Birmingham that are totally Muslim, where non-Muslims just simply don’t go in,” - but the uproar that caused has definitely had a smokescreen effect on the very real substitution of Britain's autochton population by immigrants, and then especially muslim immigrants.

Of course Birmingham is not a muslim city. YET. But give it twenty more years and it MIGHT BE. That is the core tenet in Mr Emerson's story.

De Standaard is one of those newspapers willing to disperse such smokescreens, and if sufficient gullible readers are willing to be misled, what Emerson warned against WILL come true.

AHMED ABOUTALEB AND EXTREMIST MUSLIMS: SAME GOAL, DIFFERENT APPROACH.

There's a youtube video gone somewhat viral of Ahmed Aboutaleb, mayor of Rotterdam and prominent Dutch socialist (the mainstream party PvdA, not the SP), in which he apparently admonishes young muslims who refuse to take for granted freedom of expression, telling them to "f*ck off". At least that's how most Anglosaxon commentators translate Aboutalebs "rot op", although "f*ck off" is actually harsher. A more apt translation for "rot op" would be "get the hell out of here!".




Aboutalebs not-unclear language obviously earned him the sympathy of many a western observer from all sides of the political spectrum. One of them is one of my favourite bloggers, CDR Salamander, whose naval-oriented blog I've been following since the beginning (2004, to be precise). The CDR has several often recurring topics, and a near constant are the FbF's - Fullbore Fridays. Posts generally dealing with personae or units having shown exceptional gallantry or military prowess. I've basically always agreed with his assessions of those selected - but I have grave issues with his last two choices. The first, ten days ago, was Egyptian General al-Sisi. Now, this man during a recent speech at al-Azhar university indeed said remarkable things - for a muslim. More on him, time allowing.

The second was Ahmed Aboutaleb, of "rot op" fame. CDR Salamander last Friday:

"The last week has seen a sickening parade of morale and physical cowardice in the defense of essential liberty. Afraid of what may happen if they stood with the French, politicians and much of the press instead hid behind "responsible speech" - which is their way of cowering in the face of threats against the very freedom they need to exist. That is the true Islamophobia - a twisted partonizing attitude that you cannot risk offending even in the slightest the tender feelings of a Muslim because, well, they just can't take it like everyone else and might become dangerous. A phobia of the followers of Islam: Islamophobia.

Heck, even last night I was reminded why I used think I was of the left. It used to be that there was a very libertarian streak on the left, but in the last 30 years they have been swamped by the Stalinists. One of the last of the traditional libertarian leftists I have found myself in rough alignment with is Bill Maher of all people.

Well, this week I am bringing in another man of the left who has it right. He gets extra points because he is Dutch. He speaks with the directness of a Dutchman, gets the enlightenment, and - more than most - he has stepped in to the field of fire to defend the flag.

The Salamander freedom fighter of the week is Ahmed Aboutaleb, member of the Labour Party, de Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA), and mayor of Rotterdam."

Er, no, CDR. Mr Aboutaleb is no freedom fighter. Counting on him as such would be a grave error. And why?

Oh, you might want to look at what he has overseen in "his" Rotterdam: the conclusion, in 2010, of a building project involving The Netherland's largest mosque:





Here is what Dutch daily De Telegraaf had to say about it on 17 december 2010:

"ROTTERDAM - After more than seven years, on Friday The Netherland's biggest mosque, the essalam mosque on Colosseum Road in Rotterdam, will be opened. The prayer house will be inaugurated by mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb and town selectman Hamit Karakus. Photo: anp

Over the past years the [construction of the] mosque has had its share of troubles. There has reportedly been much influence from abroad, in particular from the UAE's Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al-Maktoum. There were also quarrels between the mosque's management and its faithful. This conflict was finally resolved before court. Construction itself was also halted for a long time. In order to complete the mosque, town selectman Hamit Karakus had to step in. He finally got the project back on the rails again, with as end result a completed mosque in Rotterdam-South."

Let us not dwell on the problems during construction, they involved only the refusal to pay some of the builders' invoices and the violation of town regulations concerning the building of large structures. Let us also not dwell on the quarrels between the mosque's management and around 150 of its intended worshippers, quarrels between muslims themselves are sympathetic traits of people of that faith. And let us certainly not dwell on how "Hamit Karakus got the project back on the rails again", as if a threat to withdraw the building permit, coming from a muslim himself, could ever have been considered a danger to the future of this mosque.

No, what we have to focus on here is that it is no coincidence that when you appoint a muslim Mayor of a huge city like Rotterdam, as PvdA Chairman Wouter Bos did in 2008 - a fact we lamented on this very blog - the emergence, sooner or later, of a mega-mosque is practically a given.

The purpose of this blogpost is to show that we should not be FOOLED by "enlightened" muslims like Ahmed Aboutaleb. At heart, he is as much a muslim supremacist as his muslim "compatriots" cheering for ISIS. Thing is, Aboutaleb is the man who is content to take a stroll towards the ultimate goal, whereas the triggerhappy blokes boarding planes for Turkey would like to sprint. We can also put it another way: Aboutaleb is MUCH SMARTER. The anger revealed by Aboutaleb in the video above - is it really triggered by the refusal of muslims to come to terms with a quintessentially western concept as freedom of expression?

Or is it anger because the gung-ho dumbasses are obviously confirming in a big and loud way what Geert Wilders & Co have been claiming for years?

My bet would be on the latter. The Charlie Hebdo massacres, the "Young Dutch" wanting to join ISIS - they are thwarting the long-term plans of clever strategists like Ahmed Aboutaleb. To Aboutaleb, twelve dead cartoonists are a nuisance since they constitute a wake-up call for a considerable number of Europeans. Not considerable enough, for sure. A disheartening number of European natives are still dazed and confused and high on the LSD of multiculturalism. But I am sure Mr Aboutaleb can miss Charlie Hebdo repeats like the plague. Because two, three or seven MORE .... and getting building permits thru for mega mosques WILL get more difficult.

NO CDR Salamander, as good as your judgment is in countless matters, I fear that you are seeing the Mayor of Rotterdam, who is no Mayor of Simpleton, in a far too rosy light. Mr Aboutaleb is no freedom fighter. He's a general angry because some dumbass private stepped on a twig, accidentally lit up a flare, or talked too much prior to the Big Offensive. Last week, when a pastor of some small Syrian church community in exile in Rotterdam pleaded with Aboutaleb to "talk with the imams, check what they are saying and rein them in", all the poor man got was a sneer about him not being fully assimilated because of his poor mastery of the Dutch language.

CDR, may I suggest a more apt choice for FbF? Take Filip Dewinter, a leading personality of the Vlaams Belang, in fact, still its most public face.

Only one week ago, Mr Dewinter held a speech in the Belgian Federal Parliament to commemmorate the victims in the Charlie Hebdo massacre, and he opened his discourse by showing perhaps the most famous "motoon" of all - in this instance one personally autographed and handed to him by Kurt Westergaard himself, ten years ago:




Aboutaleb a freedom fighter because he said "rot op"? Nope. It's taqiya, although granted, most of the Dutch muslims may have been too stupid to recognize one of their core concepts at work when dealing with infidels.

But Dewinter holding up THE motoon in a Federal Parliament, right on the heels of the killings? Plainly visible in front of the cameras? On a youtube movie that has the capacity to go viral?? THAT TAKES GUTS.

Alas, I fear Mr Dewinter will not receive freedom accolades very soon. If anything, the showers with liberal doses of faeces that he has endured during his entire 30-year long political career will continue to go on for some time.

But maybe, or rather, without a doubt...

... at some point in the not too distant future...

... when it will have finally dawned on the most ardent bien pensants that they are now living in the dar-al-islam and are now faced with all the niceties on offer in islamic societies, many may remember Mr Dewinter's incessantly delivered dire warnings, and he may finally get the Freedom Figher credit he so richly deserves.

But by then it will be too late.

VERVIERS IMAM FRANCK AMIN HENSCH ASSURES WORLD THAT THE TOWN JIHADIS ARE JUST A TINY, TINY, TINY MINORITY.

About twenty minutes last night after learning that Federal Police had rolled up an islamic terror cell in Verviers, East Belgium, the De Standaard newspaper ran a story featuring the Verviers imam, a relatively recent convert by the name of Franck Amin Hensch. Mr Hensch was dumfounded by the news and was at great pains to assure us all that the jihadis were but a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny minority in Verviers, that the bishop of Liège had just visited his Assahaba mosque and that relations were SWELL and so on and so on, and yada yada yada.

The article is in the paying section right now, and since I'm unwilling to fund a leftist rag of lunatic world-betterers I refrained from picking it up again today.


OK. Reality check.

Check out the following document issued by the University of Ghent regarding islamic cultural enrichment in Verviers:

"Located one block down the street from a prior Al-Aqsa Belgium address in Verviers is a
complex of Islamic facilities tied to Al-Aqsa Belgium and the Belgian Muslim Brotherhood. A newspaper
article on the Hodimont complex traces its origin to an unidentified Islamic association that had been in
operation since at least 1993.57 According to that article, the building housing the complex is an
abandoned tannery built in 1936 and bought in 2001 at a cost of 200,000 Euros, financed from the
proceeds of an inheritance that specified the establishment of a mosque. As of January 2005, Hodimont Complex
the 6000 m2 space was reported to include Internet facilities, a cafeteria, Arabic language classes, youth and women’s committees, and a mosque that occupies the largest amount of space.58 The mosque may have been known earlier as Mosquée As Salem but is now called Mosquée Assahaba.59 60 Attendance has been put at over 1,300 for Friday prayers of which
25% were reported to be women. As of October 2007, Belgian documents refer to Yahya Lamaalaoui as the Imam for the mosque, with an address down the street from addresses associated with probable El Hajjaji family members. 61
In addition to the mosque, there are at least two other organizations operating from the complex. The first is known as the Complex éducatif et Culturel Islamique de Verviers (CECIV). CECIV was established in May 2004 as a successor to the unidentified association mentioned above and its constitution specifies Islamic youth and social purposes including
cultural, sport, educational, and festival activities.62 The original officers of CECIV were Hassan Swaid (President), Abdeljallil El Hajjaji, Driss El Hajjaji, Mohamed Darfoufi, and Mohamed Arabate. Hassan Swaid is German with an address in Aachen, the former location for the head office of the Al-Aqsa Foundation. In 2003, Swaid was listed as a member of the
Islamische Gemeinschaft in Deutschland, the Muslim Brotherhood organization in....

JE NE SUIS PAS CHARLIE. AND TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE...

I will leave it to Mark Steyn to describe the pompous full of themselves cowardly assholes who felt obliged to participate in the march in Paris today:

But when the Canadian Islamic Congress attempted to criminalize my writing, I fought back, and I pushed back, and I got a law changed in the Canadian Parliament, because that's how important I think freedom of speech is. But I wasn't asked to die for it like these guys were. And to be honest, it makes me vomit to see people holding these Princess Dianafied candlelit vigils, and using the hashtag #JeSuisCharlie - I am Charlie -and in effect appropriating these guys' sacrifice for this bogus solidarity. It makes me sick to see all these 'the pen is mightier than the sword' cartoons that have appeared in newspapers all over the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany, France, Australia, everywhere, from other cartoonists, again expressing solidarity with these very brave men - but not doing what they did...

These guys are dead because back in 2005, these Danish cartoons were published in an obscure Jutland newspaper, and a bunch of fanatics went bananas and started killing people over them. So a couple of publications on the planet, including mine in Canada, and Charlie Hebdo in Paris, published these cartoons... Le Monde didn't, and the Times of London didn't, and the New York Times didn't, and nobody else did. And as a result, these fellows in Charlie Hebdo became the focus of murderous rage. If we'd all just published them on the front page and said "If you want to kill us, you go to hell, you can't just kill a couple of obscure Danes, you're going to have to kill us all", we wouldn't have this problem. But because nobody did that, these Parisian guys are dead. They're dead. And I've been on enough, I've been on enough events in Europe with less famous cartoonists than these who live under death threats, live under armed guard, have had their family restaurant firebombed - it's happened to a Norwegian comedienne I know - have come home and found their home burned, as a Swedish artist I know happened to. And all these people doing the phony hashtag solidarity, screw your phony hashtag solidarity. Let's have some real solidarity - or if not, at least have the good taste to stay the hell out of it."

I have been warning on these pages against the dangers of islam for some eleven years now. I've done my part. A very modest part for sure, and like Mark Steyn I'm NOT pretending I'm brave. I have no trouble at all to admit that, although they were hardcore leftists, the murdered chaps at Charlie Hebdo were far braver than me. But even so, I've got my head screwed on right. The same cannot be said of all the doofuses and hypocrites marching today. And it certainly cannot be said about Karen Armstrong, who also felt obliged to add her two cents:

* islam is preaching the importance of justice, equality and dialogue

Naturally, it had to be that leftist rag of moral perverts at De Standaard to give a forum to this lunatic woman, right on the heels of the mass murder at Charlie Hebdo and the Jewish supermarket. Coincidentally, last week Armstrong actually published the Dutch translation of her book 'Fields of Blood', in which she 'tries to set the record straight' regarding the perceived culpability of religion as the prime instigator of bloodshed throughout history. Ah, a new book by a Morally Superior Person! An event that is gefundenes Fressen for the creeps at De Standaard. It is hard to fathom why the author of the article, Dominique Minten, found it necessary to include Armstrong's assertion that 'islam is preaching the importance of justice, equality and dialogue' in his summary, since pretending those three items are values held high in the muslim world is so demonstrably false that one could just as well claim that Napoleon was the world's first grand scale tour operator, specialized in European travels. Justice? Tell that to untold hundreds of thousands of muslim women who dare not even report that they have been raped lest they be not accused of zina. Equality? That a FEMALE author like Armstrong dares even to mention the upholding of equality as a parameter for judging islam speaks bookmarks about her intellectual sanity. Dialogue? Every dialogue with islam is a monologue. THEY never yield an inch.

As long as people like the #JesuisCharlie idiots and Karen Armstrong get bigger airplay than the sceptics, we will NEVER get out of this mess, to the contrary.


Oh. Yes. Armstrong's book Fields of Blood reminds me of sumpin. It was hard to detect among all the coverage dedicated to the Kouachi Bros. and Mr. Coulabaly, but it didn't escape Outlaw Mike's radar. Via Business Insider:

"The jihadist group Boko Haram has pulled off what is perhaps the deadliest attack of its ongoing, five-year-long insurgency in northern Nigeria.
Boko Haram, extremists opposed to Western-style education and secular governance in Nigeria, carried out a multiday attack in the northeast of Nigeria, focusing on the town of Baga. According to Musa Alhaji Bukar, a senior government official who spoke to the BBC, Baga, which once had a population of about 10,000 people, is now "virtually nonexistent."

The multiday rampage focused on Baga and the surrounding towns and villages. The militants razed an estimated 16 towns around Baga, according to the BBC.

“These towns are just gone, burned down,” Borno State Senator Ahmed Zanna told NBC News. “The whole area is covered in bodies.”

The rampage has led to the deaths of an estimated 2,000 Nigerian civilians, and has sent approximately 10,000 people fleeing into neighboring Chad, according to the Associated Press.

Boko Haram's rampage throughout the region is a direct blow to the prestige of the Nigerian military.

Baga, which Nigerian troops abandoned on Jan. 4 after a day of fighting, was set to host the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF), a coalition of troops from Nigeria, Chad, and Niger whose expressed purpose was to defeat the Boko Haram insurgency.

At the time of the attack, only Nigerian troops were present.

Boko Haram's assault in Baga has comprised of two phases, according to Time. The offensive began on Jan. 3 in a push against the MNJTF base and lasted until Jan. 4. This assault was followed up by an assault on Baga itself and the surrounding towns, which lasted from Jan. 6 until Friday."

Quite a field of blood, huh? 2,000 dead? That's about 167 Charlie Hebdos. And nary a peep from our lamestream media. Kudos to CNN, see screenshot above, for at least paying some attention.

Heartening memo to the 2,000 Nigerian corpses out there: DO-NOT-WORRY!!! Even adding your bullet riddled bodies to islam's tally will not significantly imperil the muslim world's better track record for religious tolerance vis-à-vis Christianity! Doctor Armstrong says so!!!
