Crowded House formed in Melbourne, Oz, in 1985, around New Zealander Neil Finn (vocals, guitar, main songwriter) and Aussies Paul Hester (drums) and Nick Seymour (bass). Later on, Neil's brother Tim and Americans Mark Hart and Matt Sherrod would join.
